Hollyoaks real-life couple 'suddenly split' after two years together
Hollyoaks actress, Jemma Donovan, whose dad is Neighbours star, Jason Donovan, has reportedly split with I'm A Me Out Of Here! star, Owen Warner Hollyoaks stars, Jemma Donovan and Owen Warner have reportedly called it a day after two years together. Jemma, 25, whose dad is Neighbours legend, Jason Donovan, met Owen, 26, while working on the Channel 4 soap and often posted snaps of the pair on Instagram. However, it's now been reported that the couple, who enjoyed a holiday with Especially For You star, Jason last year, have suddenly broken up, with a source sensationally claiming "they are not friends". It comes as Jemma failed to mention Owen's birthday last month on Instagram and he snubbed her recent gig with Take That star, Gary Barlow. Claiming the split has "upset" the couple's close ones, a source told The Sun: 'It's over and they're no longer friends. It was very sudden - everyone was so upset for them.' Jemma joined Hollyoaks in October 2022, with her character Rayne Royce beginning a relationship with Owen's Romeo Nightingale. The pair went public in real-life the following June, much to their fans' delight. The lovebirds looked very loved-up when they rocked up at the National Soap Awards as Owen captioned a snap of himself with his arm around Jemma's waist: "Red carpet with this rocket." The soap heartthrob also sparked romance rumours in March when Jemma shared a snap of the couple cuddling on her 23rd birthday. Despite their on and off-screen love story, the couple were rumoured to have split in 2023. However, Owen sassily rebuffed the claims, taking to Instagram, saying: "I just wanted to come on here and address that me and Jemma have broken up. She's devastated, she's heartbroken. 'She can't console herself, can you,' as he panned the camera to Jemma. Jemma, pulling a mock sad face, then mused: 'He broke up with me too" before insisting: 'We're better than ever.' The actress' character Rayne was murdered in a high-profile storyline in 2023 on Hollyoaks with Owen's Romeo being revealed as her killer shortly before his own exit. In the past, model-turned actor, Owen, has dated a string of famous ladies, including former Hollyoaks co-star, Stephanie Davis, Love Island star Lana Jenkins and Geordie Shore 's Chloe Ferry. When Lana appeared on Love Island two years ago, the actor admitted to the Mirror he wouldn't watch the season as it felt a "bit weird". He said: "She's a lovely girl and people will love her, but I'm not going to be watching. "I feel like watching your ex move on to other people is a bit weird." But this year the pair are reuniting, and have dates booked across the UK, America, South America and Asia in 2025. Despite the highly-anticipated reunion, it appears the Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, haven't put all of their differences behind them. A source, who has a guest list ticket for one of the shows in Heaton Park, told The Sun: 'You might be seeing Oasis on stage but you will not be seeing Liam and Noel together afterwards. 'Each of them had a VIP list where their friends and famous fans could buy their tickets. 'But depending on which brother you got your ticket off, it's their green room and after-party you're invited to. 'It's gutting for people who want to hang out with both of them but it seems they're keeping it all at a distance.' Despite the separate parties, the duo seem to be working well together, with Liam telling his fans he's loved working with Noel again. And Noel feels the same, admitting Liam is, 'He's alright, he's on tip-top form.' MailOnline has contacted Oasis' representatives for comment. 'I was like, 'You know, I think I do actually!' And it was a really cool conversation, and then we were blown away like, I mean, it was like the best news we could have hoped for.' Noel was previously seen heading to his London studio earlier this month as he kicked off rehearsals for the series of shows. Yet with just months away from their on stage reunion, Liam is said to be prioritising 'rest' instead of getting back in the studio with his brother Noel. A source close to Noel told The Mirror: 'Noel is often in and out of the studio working on things, he is a singer songwriter so it's only natural. 'But Liam is a singer and he has a long list of dates ahead of him with Oasis this year so he will not be overdoing rehearsals. It was revealed Liam was planning on meeting with the band in May to rehearse for the shows. The source added: 'The plan is for the band to start meeting up in May. They will jam around and work out a set list and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals.' Liam and Noel have famously been locked in a feud since the band broke up in 2009 with Noel saying at the time 'I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.' However, in August, Liam and Noel reconciled and announced Oasis were reforming for a string of stadium dates in 2025.
