Maya Jama in feud with KSI after she takes public swipe at him – and Sidemen hit back
MAYA JAMA has sparked a feud with KSI as she took a swipe at Sidemen. What started as a throwaway comment has turned into a back and forth between the Love Island host and the internet stars. 5 Last month, Maya sat down on The Chunkz Show with social media star and long-time friend Chunkz to talk about all things friendship and life. Chunkz is a member of Beta Squad, a rival YouTube collective. Sidemen are also a group of British YouTube stars who have amassed over 22 million followers on the platform alone. The group was formed in 2013 when they filmed themselves playing video games. It's made up of Josh Bradley, Simon Minter, Tobi Brown, KSI, Ethan Payne, Vikram Barn and Harry Lewis. During the podcast Maya was asked which group she prefers, to which she replied: 'It's a very clear Beta Squad for me. I'm way closer with them lot. 'I get on with Tobi and I get on with KSI but I don't really know the rest of them And they're like…' 'Not your kind of people,' Chunkz interjected. She continued: 'Like you said, private school, different upbringing to us. No offence, they smashed it well done from being rich." Maya Jama hits back at Love Island fix rumours as she defends producers What may have been a throwaway comment did not sit well with the group who quickly responded on their own podcast. Speaking about the incident, KSI said: 'Let's talk about the Maya Jama stuff then.' Before member Ethan Payne interjected: ''Congrats on making it from being rich'. Shut up! You've never uttered a word to me!' Opening up about his background revealing that his father was involved with drugs and that he had once sold them, he chimed: 'Don't just assume!' 'There's a lot of that in this industry,' KSI added. Ethan continued: 'If I had her number I would have said, do you know what? Keep it respectful, but f*** you aswell." KSI then confirms that only him and Simon Minter came from a private school background but revealed his own parents had to work 'two three jobs' to keep him there. "We still worked so hard to get into this position, it's not like we just magically got here," he added. It seems Maya was not having any of it and quickly took to TikTok comments to defend herself. She penned: "As people who talk on podcasts, you should know more than anyone about context! Why are you rattled," "I was asked who I preferred and CLEARLY said I don't know you, I only mentioned private school because Chunks did earlier and I said 'congratulations on being rich' not coming from money". Sending a stern warning to Ethan, she finished her comment with: "Mind how you're talking though Ethan." 5 5 5

Man buys every scratch card on Ryanair flight - and is shocked by the result
A Ryanair passenger who purchased every single scratch card while onboard a flight has revealed his shock at the unexpected outcome. Vikram Singh Barn, a British content creator and member of popular YouTube group the Sidemen, shared footage online of his friend Ethan Payne's extraordinary mid-air gamble in June. In a video uploaded to Vik's page, @viktok, the influencer captured Ethan purchasing the entire stock - a total of 68 packs - of scratch cards available on the flight. Fellow passengers looked on in disbelief as Ethan paid for the towering stack of cards balancing on his tray table, while a flight attendant stood by with a card machine, clearly bemused by the bizarre purchase. During the beginning of their endeavour, Vik said: 'We are here on Ryanair and this man Ethan has bought every single scratch card on the flight. I've opened about 100 scratch cards, I've been opening these one at a time.' As the scratching frenzy unfolded, even other passengers began chipping in to help - yet not a single winning card was found. It soon dawned on the pair that no prizes were forthcoming, with one passenger in the background heard exclaiming: 'No one won anything.' Vik added: 'You're supposed to match three - I can't even match two. We've lost again.' They couldn't believe they didn't win anything at all. Towards the end of the clip, an overlay caption sums up their experience: 'We won a grand total of €0.' The footage has since gone viral, with hundreds of stunned viewers flocking to the comments to share their thoughts. Many commenters debated over the legitimacy of in-flight scratch cards, with some wondering if anyone ever really wins. One person wrote, 'As funny as it is, Ryanair need to be investigated this is literally a scam,' while another joked, 'Ryanair's social media team seem to be quiet for once.' A third wrote, '100% they won't allow mass buying on the flight again lol,' as another mused, 'I wonder how many people have ever won money on those.' Another viewer observed: 'Why would anyone say if they'd won something just quietly slip into a pocket.' But one Ryanair flight attendant warned: 'I am cabin crew for Ryanair and there is soo much more than you don't know, they can't sell you that many... There is a limit spend per passenger. Crew in trouble?' One Ryanair passenger recalled: 'I remember winning like £26 of onboard vouchers. When asking to buy something I heard the cabin crew say "Someone's actually won" - that's how slim your odds are.' The footage has since gone viral, with hundreds of stunned viewers flocking to the comments to share their thoughts MailOnline has contacted Ryanair for comment. It comes after a doctor has hit out at Qantas after she splurged $15,000 on business class flights only to miss out on the dinner service. Dr Katie Waldman was flying 10 hours from Melbourne to Tokyo with her daughter last week when she waited 30 minutes for her food - before a flight attendant finally admitted they had 'run out'. 'I'm with my four-year-old Amelia and $15,000 or thereabouts is what I've paid for our flights return and I just would've expected the service to be a little bit better,' she said in a TikTok chronicling the incident.

Nurse assistant with autism pens cease-and-desist to RFK Jr. over recent proposals
FARMINGTON, N.Y. (WROC) — A proposed national autism registry by the Department of Health and Human Services sparked opposition nationwide, including nearby in Farmington. Days ago, the department contradicted that announcement describing different plans to study cases of autism. One certified nursing assistant told News 8 he feels any mass collection of confidential records has the potential to violate disability and privacy acts. Ethan Payne is a certified nursing assistant who also has autism. He said when he heard nearly $50 million was set to be invested by the Department of Health and Human Services for collecting data to study cases of autism, he immediately was concerned about how it would uphold the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as HIPPA, and the potential of discriminatory practices. 'We have a feeling that even though they're saying it's consensual in a sense, we have a feeling it's not going to be treated as such, and it's not going to get the proper disclosures and the proper sense,' Payne said. The Department of Health and Human Services denies an autism registry is being created, despite what its director announced days prior. An official did not clarify to CBS News if the director misspoke, or if the plan was reversed. The Department did say the data platform it will use to study causes of autism will use existing datasets. Payne said no matter what is used, it cannot have a 'quick fix' approach. 'It's a very complex developmental disorder,' Payne said. 'It's a wide spectrum. You can't just say that we're going to find effective treatments in a certain time, this has taken years to even understand.' The National Institute of Health told CBS News it still plans to explore partnerships with other federal agencies including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. An official said the dataset will maintain the highest standard of security and patient privacy — similar to the agency's cancer database. Saying, 'these efforts are not about tracking individuals.' With what Payne calls back and forth at the national level, Payne is writing to United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. himself with a cease and desist. 'This is an issue that needs to be addressed, essentially,' Payne said. 'They say it's going to be fairly transparent and all that. But we haven't seen that yet from their face.' The National Institue of Health Director said the anticipated grant funding the autism research should be awarded by September. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
