Eight arrested for entering Oman illegally
Muscat: Eight expats have been arrested for entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally and violating labour and foreign residency laws in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. Royal Oman Police (ROP), said :"The Police Command in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in cooperation with the Ibra Special Tasks Police Unit, arrested eight Ethiopian nationals for entering the country illegally and violating labor and foreign residency laws. Legal procedures are being completed against them."

ROP apprehends 18 Ethiopian nationals for illegal entry
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police, represented by the Al Wusta Governorate Command and in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Haima, have apprehended eighteen individuals of Ethiopian nationality for unlawfully entering the country. Authorities confirmed that the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to enforce immigration laws and maintain national security. Legal procedures are currently being completed to address the violation.

Gang Of Five Arrested In Dubai For Robbing Trading Companies
The Dubai Public Prosecution is investigating a daring robbery involving five Ethiopian nationals, who allegedly broke into four trading company offices in Al Ras and stole around AED 30,000 in cash. According to authorities, the gang forced their way into the offices at night, broke open safes, and ransacked the premises. The crime was discovered the next morning when company owners arrived and found their offices in disarray. Police were immediately notified. A combined team of patrol officers, crime-scene investigators, and forensic experts quickly responded to the scene. Files and papers were scattered across the offices, and the safes had been pried open. Investigators collected fingerprints and other evidence while reviewing CCTV footage, which showed the suspects fleeing in a Toyota Corolla. Police traced the vehicle's licence plate and arrested the driver, who confessed to the crime and led officers to his accomplices. The remaining four suspects were tracked down and arrested in Abu Dhabi in coordination with local police. During interrogation, all five suspects confessed to the robbery. Law enforcement recovered AED 18,000 of the stolen money, while the suspects admitted that the rest had already been transferred to their home country. Investigations are ongoing, and the accused are expected to face formal charges soon.

Dubai: Gang of five arrested for robbing trading companies, stealing Dh30,000 in cash
The Dubai Public Prosecution is investigating a robbery involving five Ethiopian nationals, who allegedly broke into the offices of four trading companies in Al Ras. According to authorities, the suspects forced their way in, broke open safes, and stole approximately Dh30,000 in cash. The crime came to light when the company owners arrived in their office in the morning and discovered the premises had been ransacked and the safes broken into. Police were immediately notified. A combined team of patrol officers, crime-scene investigators, and a forensic expert arrived on-site to find files and papers strewn across the offices. Forensic teams then collected fingerprints and other evidence, while CCTV footage showed the suspects fleeing the scene in a Toyota Corolla. Using the vehicle's licence plate number, police tracked down and arrested the driver, who confessed and revealed the whereabouts of his accomplices. The remaining four suspects were later arrested in Abu Dhabi in a coordinated operation with the emirate's police forces. All five suspects have confessed during interrogation. Law enforcement recovered Dh18,000, with the suspects admitting the remainder had been transferred to their home country. Investigations are ongoing, and the accused will soon be formally charged.

ROP apprehends several expats for illegal entry, labour violations
Muscat: More than ten expats have been arrested for entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally and two foreigners for violating labour and foreign residency laws in the Wilayat of Dhank, Al Dhahirah Governorate. Royal Oman Police (ROP) said :"Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command, with the support of the Special Task Force Police Unit in Ibri, arrested 13 Ethiopian nationals for entering the country illegally and two Bangladeshi nationals for violating labour and foreign residency laws in the Wilayat of Dhank. Legal procedures are being completed."
