How to watch the women's Euro 2025 tournament on French TV

After a 2-1 semi-final loss against Germany in the 2022 Euro, France are still looking to win their first title - Les Bleues kick off their tournament with a match against fellow-favourites England, Saturday July 5th at 9pm. The 2025 Women's Euro takes place in eight cities across Switzerland from July 2nd to 27th, with 16 national teams competing for the title. France - placed in Group D with England, Wales and the Netherlands - have a 16 percent chance of bringing the cup home, according to British data analyst Opta. According to the bookmakers, the four favourites for this tournament are Spain, England, France and Germany. The English Lionesses will be defending their 2022 title under coach Sarina Wiegman, who is still undefeated at the Euro's after 12 matches won (six with England, six with the Netherlands). Meanwhile Wales are set to make their major-tournament debut. How to watch matches on French TV In good news all Euro matches will be broadcast on free-to-air TV in France, switching between on TF1, its sister channels TMC and TFX, and streaming service TF1+, as well as the France 2 and France 4 channels of the France Télévisions group. Apart from the fanzone in Lyon, there will be no big public screenings organised in French cities, unlike during major sports tournaments for men. If you feel like watching the matches amidst a crowd, your best bet will be to go to a local sports bar or to organise your own watch party. Bars and cafés will likely be screening the French matches, although for other games you may need to head to a specialist sports venue. In Paris, the Grand Rex theatre is hosting a special screening of France's opening match against England on Saturday.
