'My dad is a cannibal killer and his victim's final words will always haunt me'

WARNING - DISTRESSING DETAILS: Isakin Jonsson, known as the 'Skara Cannibal' after he killed and ate parts of his girlfriend, has been branded one of Sweden's most terrifying murderers For Jamie-Lee Arrow, daughter of Isakin Jonsson, dubbed the 'Skara Cannibal', family reunions bring back nightmarish memories. Jonsson earned his chilling moniker after he murdered and cannibalised parts of his girlfriend, Helle Christensen. ‌ Jamie-Lee, Jonsson's daughter, has spoken out about the profound effect her father's gruesome actions had on her life when she was only nine years old. ‌ The young girl endured a traumatic ordeal when the woman she viewed as a second mother was savagely killed; this followed her parents' divorce when she was just a toddler. Jonsson's barbaric crime of cutting Ms. Christensen's throat, beheading her, and consuming parts of her remains is one of Sweden's most horrifying murder cases, reports the Mirror US. After being sentenced in 2011, the deranged killer was placed in a psychiatric institution. Jamie-Lee has recently opened up to Live Mint about the horror of being ensnared in her father's grotesque reality. "My dad definitely brainwashed me and has done since I was three years old," she told MailOnline. "He has always exposed me to the dark side, with the devil and demons and evil spirits, and that has always been a part of my reality – a part of my everyday life. ‌ "He was preparing my brain for it for as long as I remember because he wanted me to be him. He always said that 'you are me, you are a better version of me'." Jamie-Lee was raised in two starkly contrasting homes, which to her felt like night and day. While her mother's residence was warm and normal, her father's abode presented a dark and troubling environment for a child. ‌ Jamie-Lee recounts Jonsson indulged in horror films and crafted unsettling voodoo dolls. She constantly tread on eggshells as her father oscillated between being an ideal parent and abruptly rejecting her. She remembered believing Helle had love for her father, yet it seemed Jonsson did not reciprocate these feelings towards her step-mother. According to Jamie-Lee, the couple shared laughter at times but also engaged in frequent arguments. She observed her father losing his grip on reality, with the household's joyful moments becoming increasingly scarce. ‌ This behaviour escalated to what Jamie-Lee describes as the 'worst' weekend of her life, an experience she will always remember. Shortly before Helle's murder by Jonsson, she imparted words to Jamie-Lee that would be their last exchange. The chilling account has been featured in the true crime series Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks on Discovery. ‌ Jamie-Lee said: "She [Helle] cooked some food for us. As she served it, she went, like, 'enjoy your meal because this is the last thing you'll ever eat from me because your dad is going to kill me.' That's one of the last things I ever heard her say." It turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy for Jamie-Lee, who never encountered Helle again. At the tender age of 13, she came to grips with the meaning of 'cannibal', feeling deceived by her father. On reuniting with her father, Jamie-Lee initially experienced an emotional and heartfelt meeting but soon recognised he had been manipulating her since she was a child. ‌ She gradually grasped her dad had crafted an image of virtue for himself while casting his girlfriend as the baddie; she was duped into accepting this narrative and it dawned on her slowly what the reality was. Upon reaching adulthood, her father chillingly inquired if Jamie-Lee wished to hear how he'd slain his partner. "He showed no remorse. He almost said it with passion. And, I was sitting there wanting to throw up. He almost had a smirk on his face," Jamie-Lee recalled. "That's the first time I truly felt in my body that my dad was not well. This man is sick," she conveyed. Jamie-Lee has been combatting the shadows of her past including depression and substance misuse which stemmed from Helle's murder at her father's hands. Now 23, a mother herself and in a nurturing relationship, she's pledged, for her children's welfare, to cut ties definitively with her murderous father.

'I was brainwashed by my monster dad who ate his girlfriend'

WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: Jamie-Lee Arrow was just nine years old when her father, Isakin Jonsson, killed and ate parts of her 'second mother' Family relationships can be complicated but for Jamie-Lee Arrow they've been made immeasurably harder as her father, Isakin Jonsson, is 'Skara Cannibal'. Jonsson earned his gruesome moniker after the brutal murder and cannibalisation of his partner, Helle Christensen. ‌ Jamie-Lee has courageously come forward about how her father's grisly crime affected her from the tender age of nine. ‌ The distress was amplified for Jamie-Lee when the victim, whom she viewed as a second mum, was savagely killed; this after her parents had split during her early years. The barbaric criminal slit Ms Christensen's throat, beheaded her, and consumed parts of her body – an act that ranks among Sweden's most horrific homicides, reports the Mirror US. Since his 2011 sentence, Jonsson has been locked away in a psychiatric institution. Now, Jamie-Lee has revealed to Live Mint the horror of being ensnared in her father's sinister legacy. "My dad definitely brainwashed me and has done since I was three years old," Jamie-Lee confided in an interview with MailOnline. "He has always exposed me to the dark side, with the devil and demons and evil spirits, and that has always been a part of my reality – a part of my everyday life. ‌ "He was preparing my brain for it for as long as I remember because he wanted me to be him. He always said that: 'You are me, you are a better version of me'." Jamie-Lee was raised in two starkly contrasting homes – one warm and normal at her mother's, the other disturbingly dark at her father's. At her dad Jonsson's house, it was a world steeped in eeriness, where horror films played and voodoo dolls sat ominously. The young girl tiptoed on eggshells, with Jonsson switching erratically from doting father to harsh stranger. ‌ She remembers feeling that her step-mother Helle cared deeply for Jonsson, yet the affection seemed unreciprocated. Amidst occasional laughter, the couple's relationship was marred by constant fights. Jamie-Lee noted her father's grip on reality weakening, as the household's joyful moments dwindled. ‌ What unfolded next was to be the darkest chapter of her life, etched into her memory forever. Shortly before her tragic death, Helle made a haunting comment to Jamie-Lee – words marking their last conversation as Helle fell victim to murder by Jonsson. Her chilling experiences were brought to light in the true crime documentary Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks. Haunted by those ominous words, Jamie-Lee said: "She [Helle] cooked some food for us. As she served it, she went, like, 'enjoy your meal because this is the last thing you'll ever eat from me because your dad is going to kill me.' That's one of the last things I ever heard her say." ‌ It became a harsh reality for Jamie-Lee who never laid eyes on Helle again after that ominous prediction. She hit 13 when she finally grasped the true horror of the term 'cannibal', feeling deeply betrayed by her own father. The reconnection between father and daughter was initially filled with what felt like emotional warmth, but Jamie-Lee soon recognised the years of manipulation at his hands. She came to see that her dad had painted himself in heroic light, casting his girlfriend as the adversary—all part of a deceitful narrative she was indoctrinated into believing until the chilling moment of realisation dawned upon her. At the age of 18, her father chillingly invited Jamie-Lee to hear the details of how he killed his partner. ‌ "He showed no remorse. He almost said it with passion. And, I was sitting there wanting to throw up. He almost had a smirk on his face," Jamie-Lee recalled, recounting the traumatic encounter. "That's the first time I truly felt in my body that my dad was not well. This man is sick," she expressed, the revelation hitting her full force. Jamie-Lee has endured a long-standing battle with depression and substance abuse, a testament to the enduring scars left by her father's atrocious act. Now 23 and a mother in a nurturing relationship, she's determined to shield her young children from their monstrous grandfather, resolutely declaring they'll never meet him.

Family get-togethers can be tough, but for Jamie-Lee Arrow, daughter of Isakin Jonsson, dubbed the 'Skara Cannibal', they're the stuff nightmares are made of. Jonsson earned his gruesome moniker after he murdered and cannibalised parts of his girlfriend, Helle Christensen. Jamie-Lee Arrow has opened up about the profound effect her father's ghastly crime had on her life when she was only nine years old, having to deal with the brutal murder of the woman she saw as a second mum following her parents' split in her early years. The appalling crime committed by Jonsson, where he slit Ms Christensen's throat, beheaded her, and consumed parts of her remains, is counted among Sweden's most horrifying killings. After being sentenced in 2011, the deranged killer was sent to a psychiatric institution. Jamie-Lee has bravely shared her ordeal of being sucked into her father's grotesque realm, as reported by Live Mint, reports the Mirror US. "My dad definitely brainwashed me and has done since I was three years old," she disclosed to MailOnline. "He has always exposed me to the dark side, with the devil and demons and evil spirits, and that has always been a part of my reality – a part of my everyday life. "He was preparing my brain for it for as long as I remember because he wanted me to be him. He always said that: 'You are me, you are a better version of me'." Jamie-Lee's upbringing was split between two starkly contrasting homes, one filled with love and normality at her mother's, while her father's house was a dark and disturbing place for her as a child. Her dad's home was where horror films played and eerie voodoo dolls were made by Jonsson. Jamie-Lee felt on edge, never knowing if she'd get the perfect dad or be coldly rejected. She remembered thinking Helle cared deeply for her father, but it seemed Jonsson didn't reciprocate the feelings towards his partner. The couple had their moments of laughter, yet arguments were frequent, and Jamie-Lee noticed her father's grip on reality slipping, with joy becoming scarce in their home. The darkest point came during what Jamie-Lee describes as the 'worst' weekend of her life, an experience etched into her memory. Shortly before Helle's murder by Jonsson, she uttered haunting words to Jamie-Lee, marking the last conversation she'd ever have with her step-mother. These chilling events are now recounted in the true crime series Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks. Jamie-Lee recounted the ominous words from Helle: "She [Helle] cooked some food for us. As she served it, she went, like, 'enjoy your meal because this is the last thing you'll ever eat from me because your dad is going to kill me.' That's one of the last things I ever heard her say." Jamie-Lee experienced a heart-wrenching fulfilment of a dire forewarning when she never laid eyes on Helle again after they parted ways. It wasn't until the age of 13 that she grasped the grim meaning of 'cannibal', feeling utterly deceived by her father. Despite an initial rush of emotions upon rekindling their bond, Jamie-Lee acknowledged that her father's influence from her early years was nothing but manipulation. Her growing awareness revealed to her how her father had crafted a facade of virtue while demonising his girlfriend – a deception she unwittingly absorbed until the scales fell from her eyes. A moment of chilling revelation struck at the age of 18 when her father chillingly inquired if Jamie-Lee wished to hear the macabre details of how he executed his partner. "He showed no remorse. He almost said it with passion. And, I was sitting there wanting to throw up. He almost had a smirk on his face," recounted Jamie-Lee. "That's the first time I truly felt in my body that my dad was not well. This man is sick," she relayed about the harrowing incident. Jamie-Lee has trudged through the aftermath of such ghastly familial betrayal; wrestling with depression and the vice grip of drug dependency since the tragic loss of Helle. Now a mother of two in a nurturing relationship, the 23 year old vows to shield her children from the shadow cast by her murderous father, swayed by the determined resolution to cut him out of her life completely.

Isakin Drabbad: Daughter recalls last conversation before devil-loving cannibal dad killed step-mum, ate her

WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT A woman who endured one of the most horrific childhoods imaginable has spoken out about growing up with a father who killed and ate her stepmother after a blazing domestic confrontation. Jamie-Lee Arrow is the daughter of the most notorious murderer in Sweden's modern history, Isakin Drabbad, nicknamed the 'Skara Cannibal'. Drabbad, a self-proclaimed Satan worshipper, had been having visions of demons and evil spirits in the lead up to a fight with his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, which ultimately ended in her murder. In November 2010, Drabbad, now 46, killed Ms Christensen, 40, by cutting her throat, before decapitating her and slicing flesh from her body after the ongoing violent argument that lasted nearly 24 hours. In scenes reminiscent of a Stephen King novel, the body parts were cooked in salt and cannabis leaves, before Drabbad ate the pieces. Ms Arrow relayed the final conversation she had with her stepmother as they sat together for a meal prior to the killing. 'Enjoy your meal because this is the last time I will cook for you ... because Isakin is going to kill me,' Ms Christensen said to Ms Arrow. Drabbad was arrested and confessed to the murder and cannibalism, before he was remanded to a psychiatric facility in 2011. The Sun newspaper recently secured an interview with Ms Arrow who has spent nearly 15 years trying to rationalise the horrendous situation she found herself in as a nine-year-old, and the memories of the lead up to one of history's most gruesome acts. Ms Arrow said her time with her father was like stepping into a 'horror movie' after her parents split and she moved between the two residences in a shared custody arrangement. 'He often talked about the devil, demons and evil spirits, and when I was little, he liked to introduce me to the other side,' Ms Arrow recalled. 'We would lay in the dark on the bed and he would go, 'Do you see the faces on the wall, can you see them?' Then he would say it so much I would actually start seeing them.' After all the trauma of her childhood Ms Arrow, now 23, wrestled with addiction and left school at 15, but through a determined mindset and self-preservation, she has now turned her life around and is set to marry her long term partner while raising her two children. 'Just because your childhood sucked doesn't mean your entire life has to. We have the power over our own lives and we can create something beautiful even if we came from something ugly,' Ms Arrow told The Sun. 'I want people to understand the darkness I came from and that I actually managed to get myself out from under it. I still struggle with feeling like I am my own person and that my dad has got nothing to do with who I am.' A gifted motivational speaker, Ms Arrow, featured in the TV documentary Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks, where she spoke to her father in a chilling interaction between the two. 'Do you know how much you have to love someone to still want to see the person who is scaring you to death?' she told Drabbad. 'I think it's extremely difficult to have me in your life. You can only see heaven from hell ... I look at you from hell. And I'm sorry,' Drabbad replied. Isakin Drabbad is no longer held within the psychiatric institution and after serving neary 15 years in jail is hoping to one day be granted parole. Lifeline: 13 11 14.
