Gittens - who changed his surname from Bynoe-Gittens on the advice of his father - enjoyed a breakout season with Dortmund. Victor Osimhen receives 'crazy' contract offer after Man Utd and Arsenal talks

Victor Osimhen has received a 'mind-blowing' contract offer from Saudi Arabia as he looks for a new club. The Nigeria spent last season on loan at Galatasaray and is open to returning to the Turkish champions as he does not have a future at Napoli. Osimhen was a prolific goalscorer for Napoli but Antonio Conte nevertheless sanctioned his exit 12 months ago and wants him sold this summer. Ex-Chelsea target Osimhen enjoyed his time in Turkey as he scored 37 goals in all competitions to help Galatasaray clinch the title. A permanent transfer to Galatasaray remains a possibility but Osimhen is believed to be dreaming of a move to the Premier League. Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked with Osimhen as they look to sign new strikers for Ruben Amorim and Mikel Arteta. But with the Premier League giants currently pursuing other targets – most notably Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko – Osimhen has been forced to consider other options in the transfer market. The 26-year-old has already rejected an approach from Al Hilal but has now received an improved offer from the Saudi Pro League side. According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Al Hilal's 'mind-blowing' contract proposal is worth around £34m a year and and close to £140m over a possible four-year deal. If he accepts, Osimhen would immediately become one of the highest-paid footballers in the world. The Nigerian has a release clause worth £64m that Al Hilal have no problem activating if he gives them the green light. Last week, ex-England defender Rio Ferdinand claimed Osimhen must be 'waiting' for a call from Manchester United after turning down a move to Saudi. Asked which striker he wants United to sign this summer, Ferdinand said: 'No.9, they already know who I want. The comments know, the people know who I want, who I would go and get: Osimhen! 'It looks like he's turned down Al-Hilal… he must be waiting for Manchester United. I don't know if Manchester United are going to come. That's the problem.' Osimhen was close to completing a deadline-day move to Chelsea last summer but the Blues are not expected to be in the transfer race given they recently signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. More Trending Delap is one of the most highly-rated players in England but John Obi Mikel believes Chelsea fans would have preferred to see Osimhen join the club. 'It's not a secret. Everybody knows who I want to come to the football club and who the fans want to see at the football club [Osimhen],' Obi Mikel told The Evening Standard. 'But they've decided to go down a different route. I just hope that it's going to be the right decision. I like Liam Delap. He's a good young striker who works his socks off. 'Is he a proven goalscorer in the Premier League? Can he do it at a big club like Chelsea? That's the question. It's about how the manager works with him and develops him.' Chelsea sent warning over £43m Man Utd and Liverpool transfer target

Chelsea have been warned they will be making a mistake if they peruse the signing of Manchester United and Liverpool traget Malick Fofana. The Lyon youngster is in high-demand after an eye-catching campaign for the Ligue 1 club who have already sold Rayan Cherki to Manchester City this summer. Fofana is likely to command a fee in the region of £43million for a player they signed from Gent in January 2024 for just £17m. Ex-Chelsea defender William Gallas, however, believes Fofana should not be a player Chelsea are focusing on buying this summer, even if rival clubs could benefit from his talent. 'Malick Fofana is a young player that is still learning and I don't think that is the right move,' Gallas told Prime Casino. 'Chelsea have a lot of forward players already and I think they need experienced defenders now. They have won the Conference League but that right centre-back position is the one I'd look at, not wingers.' The Blues are currently involved in Club World Cup action in America and it remains to be seen what impact that tournament will have on their preparations ahead of the new Premier League season. Chelsea appear to have been handed a kind start to the season after the fixtures were announced earlier this week, but Gallas is concerned games against the likes of Crystal Palace and Brighton will be far tougher in reality than on paper. He added: 'Chelsea will want to get off to a good start as they look to go and finish in the top four and be in the race to win the title, but they've got a difficult start.
