KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian singers Andmesh Kamaleng and Ziva Magnolya are set to headline a major music event in Sabah next month. In a press statement released today, the event, dubbed Festival Tentang Cinta, is presented by Extreme Visionary Venture. This large-scale concert promises an unforgettable night of music, bringing together top regional artistes at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Aug 9. Andmesh described the festival as a significant opportunity to strengthen cross-border connections through music. "I'm genuinely happy to build this sense of unity and family through music. We promise to deliver our best performance in terms of musical arrangement, energy, and experience," he said in the statement. "This will be my second visit to Kota Kinabalu, and I hope to leave a lasting impression." Making her debut performance in Sabah, Ziva shared her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity. "This will be my first time performing in Kota Kinabalu, and I'm incredibly grateful to be part of Festival Tentang Cinta. It's such a special experience for me," she said. At this highly anticipated concert, the Indonesian duo will be joined by Malaysian talents Ara Johari, Adira Suhaimi, Mary Grace, and Hael Husaini. Extreme Visionary Venture managing director, Julianah Ishak, expressed her hopes that the concert would resonate deeply with local audiences, particularly in Sabah. "As this is our first time organising Festival Tentang Cinta, we're thrilled to bring together such incredible regional talent to light up the stage at SICC," she said.
