This K-pop boy band just set the stage on fire in Japan: You would not believe how TREASURE owned the 2025 FNS Summer Festival
When TREASURE Turned Up the Heat in Tokyo If you thought only Bollywood stars could make a crowd lose its mind, think again. TREASURE, the K-pop boy band that's got fans swooning from Seoul to Surat, just took over the stage at Japan's mega music event-the 2025 FNS Summer Festival. And trust us, it wasn't just another performance. These boys didn't just show up. They owned the night by covering none other than their YG Entertainment seniors, BigBang, with the iconic "FANTASTIC BABY." Imagine Ranveer Singh remixing a Shah Rukh Khan classic at an award show-that's how wild the energy was. The crowd went bonkers, and honestly, so did we. BigBang's Legacy, TREASURE's Swagger Covering a BigBang hit is like trying to outdo your elder cousin at a family wedding dance-off-risky, but if you pull it off, you're instantly a legend. TREASURE did just that. Their version of "FANTASTIC BABY" wasn't just a tribute; it was a full-blown party. The choreography, the stage presence, the attitude-everything screamed, "We're here, and we're not playing safe." It's kind of like when a new Bollywood boy band tries to pull off a Shah Rukh Khan pose-except TREASURE actually nailed it. The Japanese audience, usually pretty chill, couldn't stop cheering. For any Indian K-pop fan who's ever tried to teach their friends a TREASURE dance move at a college fest, this was pure validation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Uncover The Latest 2025 SUV Prices List In The Philippines SUV Deals | Search Ads Search Now Undo 'SARURU' and the Mini Album Magic But wait, there's more. TREASURE didn't just stop at covers. They dropped their own track "SARURU" from their special mini album [PLEASURE], and it was a total vibe. The performance felt less like a TV show and more like a full-on concert. You know that feeling when your favorite band drops a surprise track at Sunburn Festival? Yeah, it was that level of hype. The stage effects, the vocals, the crowd's energy-it all came together for a performance that fans will be talking about for ages. And for those keeping track, the production value was easily worth a few crore rupees. K-pop knows how to do drama, and TREASURE is leading the charge. Why This Matters for Every K-pop Fan Let's be real-seeing a group like TREASURE slay it in Japan is a big deal for fans everywhere, especially in places where K-pop is still fighting for mainstream attention. It's like when a desi artist finally headlines a global festival-suddenly, everyone's paying attention. Watching TREASURE blend old-school K-pop legends with their own new-gen flavor is a reminder that music really does cross borders. Whether you're streaming from Mumbai or munching on ramen in Tokyo, the hype is universal. And hey, if you ever doubted that K-pop could bring people together, just check out the reaction to this performance. It's proof that sometimes, all you need is a killer stage, a legendary song, and a group of boys who know how to make the world dance. K-pop and Bollywood both know how to throw a party, and when TREASURE took on BigBang at the FNS Summer Festival, it felt like the best of both worlds. Here's hoping we see more crossovers, more covers, and a lot more desi K-pop fans in the front row next time.
