Dubai Future Academy Opens Applications for FEEL Program

Home » Top stories » Dubai Future Academy Opens Applications for FEEL Program Dubai Future Academy, an initiative by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has announced the opening of applications for the second edition of the 'FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program'. The program is designed to train both local and international talent to navigate disruption and enhance future readiness. The Academy revealed that applications are now open and will be accepted until 31 July 2025. Interested individuals can apply through DFF's official website: The four-week program will begin on 20 October 2025. It offers an immersive educational experience led by global experts. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, strategic field visits, collaborative projects, and exclusive networking sessions. Dubai Future Academy reported that the program aims to equip executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and industry experts with the tools to anticipate and leverage transformative change. It focuses on developing future-ready leaders who can identify trends, seize opportunities, and apply advanced foresight strategies. The Academy shared that the first edition in 2024 received nearly 1,500 applications from around 100 countries. Out of these, 42 participants from 15 nations were selected. They engaged in 33 workshops and practical sessions. Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO and COO at DFF, said the program helps participants keep pace with technological and innovation-driven transformations across sectors. He explained that the initiative is aligned with Dubai's long-term commitment to future readiness and sustainable development. According to AlJaziri, the 2025 edition focuses on identifying future opportunities and converting them into real-world outcomes. It also aims to enhance human capital by developing agile, visionary expertise. The program will provide participants direct access to globally recognized experts. These include: Professor Oussama Khatib from Stanford University, recipient of the Great Arab Minds Award Professor Sohail Inayatullah from Tamkang University, an expert in futures foresight Alyaa Al Mulla, Founder of the Longevity Think Tank Other contributors include: Dr. Steven Novella from Yale School of Medicine Dr. Brad Stanfield from the University of Auckland David Bucca, CEO of Change Foods Guillaume Verdon, CEO of Extropic Professor Paul Newman from the Oxford Robotics Institute Dr. Mohammed Qassem and Dr. Heba Shehadeh from DFF Dubai Future Academy also revealed that participants will visit key innovation hubs in the UAE. These include the Technology Innovation Institute, Micropolis (autonomous vehicles), the Sustainability and Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Park, and Dubai Future Labs. These visits are intended to provide hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies and innovations shaping the future. Dubai Future Academy confirmed that its broader mission is to build future-focused capabilities. It seeks to empower global and national leaders with the skills needed to stay ahead of rapid global changes. The initiative reflects Dubai Future Foundation's continued efforts to position the emirate as a global hub for innovation and foresight.
