Golden Lions among standout performers as Day 2 delivers thrilling contests at FNB Girls Week Day two of the 2025 FNB U16 and U18 Girls Week saw dominant performances from Cape and northern-based unions, with Western Province, the Blue Bulls, and the Golden Lions extending their unbeaten runs in Johannesburg. In the U18 division, the Lions, Boland, Bulls, and WP remained undefeated heading into the final day on July 4. Griquas and Free State recorded spirited wins to bounce back after opening-round defeats, while the Valke registered their first points of the week. Western Province again impressed with a commanding 36–5 victory over Zimbabwe, highlighted by Endinalo Fihla's four-try performance. Griquas stunned the Limpopo Blue Bulls 17–7, while Free State came from 12–0 down to edge the Leopards 20–12. The U16 section continued to deliver exciting rugby. The Golden Lions underlined their form with a 57–0 demolition of SWD, with fullback Khanya Makhudu scoring three tries and Alice Ncube adding 12 points from the tee.
