FOX NFL Sunday star sends message to Dwayne Johnson after 'punching ex-MMA fighter in head'
FOX NFL Sunday's Jay Glazer has hilariously called on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to tell former MMA star Mark Kerr to expect to spar when they hit the red carpet for his upcoming film, 'The Smashing Machine'. The WWE star and actor is set to play the UFC legend in the upcoming biographical sports drama, which focuses on Kerr's career and personal struggles, namely his opioid addiction. The title takes after Kerr's nickname, which he earned by leaving a path of destruction in his first MMA tournament, and will be released on October 3. It comes as shamed UFC star Conor McGregor has been accused of punching a man in an Ibiza nightclub , with footage taken from inside one of the Spanish party island's many venues allegedly showing him scrapping with a reveller. "Hey @therock please tell this fool @tsmkerr that everyone spars on red carpets," Glazer wrote in the caption. "It's common practice. I keep trying to tell him. Don't worry though I'm doing my part as a friend. 'Thanks for punching me in the head.' Hahahahaha #TheSmashingMachine @a24 #MarkKerr #og" In the 22 second clip, the pair appeared in good spirits as Glazer joked with Kerr, with the Fox NFL star doing his best to convince his pal to be ready to spar with "The Rock" when they finally hit the red carpet. "Trying to get my boy back into shape here for 'The Smashing Machine'. Although he's like, 'I don't need to spar first'. I'm like, 'yes you do, Dwayne says you gotta spar every red carpet, like 15 rounds'," Glazer says in the video. "It's exactly why we're doing this. What are friends for?" Kerr then responds with a sarcastic, "yeah, thanks for punching me in the head," which immediately draws laughter from the pair, before Glazer says: "My pleasure." Kerr then signs off with "much appreciated." Back in December, Glazer had uploaded another video onto X in which he is filmed shaving Kerr's head for his birthday. The 55-year-old joked how the UFC legend had been going around with "a George Costanza haircut for far too long", in a nod to Kerr's balding. "Friend of the year over here… giving my brother @tsmkerr Mark Kerr the best birthdays gift EVER!!" Glazer began in his caption. "Mark's life is about to change as my baby niece @therock is playing Mark in a movie about his life, 'The Smashing Machine.' "Well being the great friend I am… I had to have a hair intervention. Kerr is a UFC Hall of Famer and former mixed martial arts fighter known for his dominance in the early days of the UFC. Some of his career highlights include winning the UFC 14 and UFC 15 heavyweight tournaments. As for Glazer, he will be expected to return as part of the FOX NFL Sunday panel for the upcoming football season, although he will hope to avoid being told to 'watch himself' by colleague and NFL legend Michael Strahan just like he was last year.

'This is ridiculous!!' Terry Bradshaw vents frustration after intense TSA screening at Missouri airport

The incident occurred Monday, shortly after his live performance in Branson for The Terry Bradshaw Show , which is currently on tour across the country. Bradshaw shared a video on Facebook, showing his visible frustration as he was directed into a private room for another pat-down. His Facebook caption read: "I'm not against being safe but…This is ridiculous!! TSA approved, had the body pat down, all the luggage checked, unpacked item by item. Now going into private room for ANOTHER pat down. Come on Springfield how many criminals come through here???? I guess I look like one today!!!" In the clip, the 76-year-old FOX NFL analyst is seen cooperating with airport security but adds sarcastically: "They got to go through my luggage now. I'm the Unabomber." The person filming, believed to be Bradshaw's travel companion, responded: "Terry Bradshaw's definitely a terrorist." Terry Bradshaw's tone drew mixed reactions. On April 10, during a flight landing in Pittsburgh, passengers were reportedly stuck inside the plane due to a jammed exit door. One traveler, Selah Gamble, told KDKA Pittsburgh that the issue was eventually resolved, jokingly crediting Bradshaw: "The pilot announced and you could kind of hear he was chuckling as he said it, but he said 'thanks to the strength of one of our passengers, we were finally able to get the door open.' And I think we all knew he was alluding to Mr. Bradshaw." Bradshaw later addressed the speculation on Instagram: "Just to set the record straight… I did nothing to open the door on the plane! NFL Great Tom Brady to Be Part of Jimmie Johnson's NASCAR/Indy 500 'Double'
A couple of G.O.A.T.s to take lap around Brickyard on race day morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ahead of the Indy 500 on May 25. While Kyle Larson is expected to be getting amped up for his second Indianapolis 500 and the first leg of his planned 'Hendrick 1100,' NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson will be starting his own 'double' May 25. The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, who qualified in the fourth row at the 2022 Indianapolis 500 and competed for Chip Ganassi Racing en route to the race's Rookie of the Year Award, will chauffeur seven-time National Football League Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady for a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Fastest Seat in Sports. The pair of GOATs (that's "Greatest of All Time" for those not quite up to speed) will lead the field to green in a custom IndyCar Series tw0-seater car. Brady, the lead FOX NFL analyst, had a cameo appearance in the first FOX Sports commercial that featured Josef Newgarden and debuted in January during the football playoffs. 'I love the Indy 500,' NASCAR Hall of Famer Johnson said. 'There is an energy and excitement around the '500' that is unlike anything I have experienced before. Certainly, pre-race ceremonies are the ultimate racing experience that I've had outside of the car. I'm thrilled to be a part of the program and to see the stands full one more time. I'm extremely honored to come back and do it and to be able to also share this experience with another seven-time champion.' After Johnson gives Brady the ride of a lifetime, he will fly to Charlotte and make his 700th career series start in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Johnson is the co-owner of Legacy Motor Club, which fields two entries in the NASCAR Cup Series and one part-time entry for Johnson in the No. 84 Chevrolet. Larson is hoping to race in the Charlotte event, as well.
