Stacey Solomon's ‘entitled' BAFTAs rant leaves BBC bosses horrified – and it's a ‘second blackmark' on her name

STACEY Solomon is reportedly under fire from BBC bosses who were left horrified by her Bafta rant. Insiders say it's a "second blackmark" on her name having been rapped over BBC advertising rules. 2 2 As The Sun previously revealed, the I'm A Celebrity star faced unprecedented backlash over her Kardashian -style telly six-parter, Stacey & Joe, which revealed Stacey's marriage to Joe Swash has hit a rocky patch. The couple openly promoted everything from haircare ranges to their Instagram accounts, going against the Beeb's guidelines. Now she's back in the headlines having launched into a huge rant after her BBC home makeover show, Sort Your Life Out, didn't take home a gong. Stacey, 35, admitted her "upset and devastation" over the loss to Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour in the Factual Entertainment category. According to the Daily Mail, her moaning video left BBC executives stunned - and even blindsided her own PR team. An employee told the paper: One told me: "Stacey is seen as normal, relatable and a good laugh. "So when she put her video up on Monday morning there was some horror here. It felt entitled and was all very out of character. "Admittedly, she did say she came out to share her frustration in support of her behind-the-scenes team who she wanted to pay tribute to. But there are other behind-the-camera teams on other shows who all work hard, too. "You can't wonder if the gloss might start to come off for Stacey. It would be a disaster for the BBC, they are hanging so much on her." This latest controversy another crack in Stacey's down-to-earth persona that gained millions of fans — and millions of pounds in the bank — sharing her seemingly perfect life online.

Stacey Solomon's career fears after backlash over her fuming response to failed BAFTA win

Stacey Solomon has reportedly got fears for her career after she came under fire for a video following her failed BAFTAs win. The TV presenter, 35, was left disappointed when her show Sort Your Life Out lost out on the Factual Entertainment prize at the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards. After the loss, Stacey let rip at the BAFTA judges in an online rant as she said her team were 'robbed' of the accolade, prompting backlash from fans who branded her a 'bad loser'. Following the criticism, it has been claimed that Stacey has fears about her career and has been 'really upset' by the negative comments online. A source told OK! Magazine: 'The negative comments really upset her, she takes them to heart, she never wants to be seen as ungrateful, because she's not.' 'She's a really hard worker and gives her all to everything, so it's devastating when it doesn't pay off, and it understandably makes her worry,' they added. 'The fear of ''Could I lose it all too? Could it all be over?'' is always there to some extent.' However, they added that Stacey has no plans to 'stop doing what she does best' and said her family is her driving force in her success. MailOnline has contacted Stacey's representatives for comment. Following the backlash, Stacey was also defended by her friend Emma Parr, who shared a heartfelt post on Instagram praising her for her hard work. Sharing a photo of the pair together, she wrote: 'You gave it everything. That's what matters. No need for a title to prove what I already know — you're a winner in my eyes. Love you @staceysolomon love you @sortyourlifeout. 'I saw the effort you put in. I saw the late nights, the early mornings, the quiet sacrifices no one else noticed. 'You carried yourself with strength, determination, and grace. And that means more than any title or trophy ever could.' Stacey commented 'Love u' on the post, with Emma writing back: 'Ditto.' Stacey's show Sort Your Life Out was nominated in for the Factual Entertainment BAFTA but lost out to Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder's programme Grand Tour. Stacey had shared a video expressing her frustration over her BAFTAs loss and letting loose at the award show's bosses. 'We didn't win a BAFTA. And I know I'm supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but, I'll be honest, I'm devastated,' she shared. Laughing at her reaction, she continued: 'I'm not handling it very well, I'm not taking it very gracefully - I'm devastated! I'm devastated for our whole team, like I'm so gutted for our team. 'Everyone got dressed up and was really hopeful, I think because they work so hard. It's not an easy show to make, Sort Your Life Out and the team work so hard to make it happen and they so deserve the BAFTA. 'The Sort Your Life Out team deserved a BAFTA and I'm devastated. I'm not saying that everyone else didn't deserve their BAFTAs, they absolutely did. 'People think making TV is really easy and it's not, so everyone deserves recognition. But I'm just gutted for my whole Sort Your Life Out family because I feel like they deserved a BAFTA. I'm gonna say it - I'm gutted!' Going on to reveal what it takes to make their show, she went on: 'We'll pack up a house and within seven days that house is packed up, into vans, over to a warehouse, laid out on the floor, we go through it meticulously, we make sure it doesn't just get chucked away. 'We donate, we recycle, we resell things. We put it all back and try and put it in systems to help families move forward...' She also gave a shout out to the families who give up their time and open their homes to TV audiences, especially when they run the risk of being judged. A fuming Stacey concluded: 'I'm gutted!' before praising her whole team and noting they planned to give it their all for series six. Fans then claimed Stacey was starting to 'show her true colours' compared to her usual wholesome demeanor and told the BBC presenter to 'grow up' and that she has 'got too big for her boots'. They wrote: 'She's not as wholesome as she comes across; It's called life Stacey so get a grip; Be thankful for where you are and remind yourself where you came from. Stop whinging; 'Grow up. Don't be a bad loser. Others were better. You smile and shut up; 1st world problems of the 1%; 'Oh Shut up will you..... just remind yourself that, you can go home to a nice tidy warm and friendly house, food in the fridge, heat in the radiators and a loving family; 'Showing her true colours - worthy of being cancelled; Get real Stace. Just because YOU want it doesn't mean you deserve it; Getting too big for her boots me thinks; 'She gone so big headed!!!!; Entitlement is off the charts; 'It's ok to be disappointed for the team, but thinking you should have won a BAFTA because the show you make is hard work is just ludicrous. You took the job. I'm sure get paid handsomely for it. A lot of truly hardworking people don't get well paid and don't expect an award, or even think they deserve one.' However not everyone agreed and others believed Stacey was being 'refreshingly honestly' and was simply just 'disappointed for her team'. They penned: 'I don't think she was letting rip she was just saying she was disappointed for her team. She wasn't ranting;
