NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a person was shot in the eye socket Sunday afternoon in Nashville's Napier area, according to law enforcement. Metro Nashville dispatch said the incident was reported in the 80 block of Fain Street just before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 29. A member of the Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 the gunfire came from a black sedan as it drove through the area. The officer said one individual was brought to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the eye socket. MNPD: 1 brought to hospital following Garfield Street shooting Authorities are still searching for the suspect vehicle, according to the officer.
