Celtic consider £3m transfer bid for Dutch centre-back
As first reported by The Herald, the 25-year-old caught the eye of Celtic scouts after an impressive season with Famalicao in Portugal. He has been a target for several European clubs. The Scottish champions are seeking to bolster their defence after sending Maik Nawrocki on loan to Hanover 96. Gustaf Lagerbielke is close to joining Sporting Braga, and Stephen Welsh is expected to return to Belgium after his loan spell at KV Mechelen last season. Japanese defender Hayato Inamura joined permanently last week but might be loaned out. Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on talented Famalicao midfielder Gustavo Sa. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Italians have identified Sa as a potential summer reinforcement. Inter agreed to pay Dinamo Zagreb around €14 million plus €2.5 million in add-ons to sign Petar Sucic in January. However, the Croatian starlet will join the Nerazzurri in the summer. Indeed, they've decided to let him stay in his homeland on loan for the rest of the season. But Sucic may not be the only midfield addition. Inter reportedly sent scouts to observe Sa during Famalicao's league clash against Vitoria Guimaraes earlier this month.
