K-pop fever rises as 8th Fact Music Awards drops star-studded lineup
Seoul – K-pop fans, mark your calendars! The 8th edition of the Fact Music Awards (TMA) is turning up the volume this year with its highly anticipated return on September 9 – and the first artist lineup has already sent the Internet into overdrive.
Launched in 2019 by Fan N STAR, TMA has quickly become one of the most exciting fixtures in the K-pop calendar, honouring top Korean artists who have taken the global music scene by storm. What sets TMA apart? The electric energy of its live performances, and this year's show – to be held at the Macao Outdoor Performance Venue – promises nothing less than a full-scale audio-visual spectacle.
The initial artist reveal, shared via a tweet from the organisers, features a mix of rising talent and crowd favourites. Leading the pack is NCT Wish, whose precision choreography and stage charisma have made them a group to watch in 2024. Also returning is NMIXX, fresh off a milestone moment with their hit Love Me Like This racking up over 100mn views on YouTube.
Joining them are the breakout stars Hearts2Hearts and KiiiKiiii – two debut groups that stunned fans with their high-energy performances and walked away with trophies at the Seoul 2025 Awards. The buzz around their TMA debut is real, with fans hoping this stage will be the next big leap in their skyrocketing careers.
If you've got The Chase, Songbird, I Do Me, or Nice Guy on repeat, you're in for a treat – all signs point to these chart-toppers rocking the stage come September.
With more names expected to be announced soon, the countdown has officially begun. And if history is any indicator, the 2025 edition of TMA is gearing up to be a night of glitter, grooves, and jaw-dropping performances that fans across continents won't want to miss.
