Bills Mafia represented from the top of Mount Everest

Buffalo Bills fandom has spread rapidly around the country in recent years, and especially in the Josh Allen era. The "Bills Mafia" have created backers bars in most corners of the country and they have even gone international. The team's fans travel better than most if not all other teams, and because of this they were voted as the best fanbase in the NFL in 2020. Some have even considered the Bills to be America's team. Advertisement The red, white, and blue colors of the Bills can be spotted anywhere at anytime. Restaurants, airports, shopping malls, you name it. There is always the chance you'll see someone repping Bills gear, and if it's you wearing it, then you can expect a "Go Bills!" to be shouted in your direction. But, what if I told you that Bills Mafia could not only travel around from stadium to stadium, but to the highest point on Earth? Bills season ticket holder, Matt Ferrari, was seen representing the team from the top of Mount Everest. 2025 Gold Cup odds: Mexico edges USMNT as favorite ahead of quarterfinals

The vibes among the United States men's national team fanbase are not exactly positive right now, even after the Americans went 3-for-3 with wins in the group stage of the Concacaf Gold Cup. News that Mexico is favored ahead of the U.S. to win the tournament may not spark anger from American fans feeling slighted as much as it will draw a collective, dejected shrug. Advertisement Mexico is just a hair in front in the odds on BetMGM at +150 to win the Gold Cup. The USMNT has +200 odds. Canada (+500) and Panama (+800) are the other top contenders; all four teams won their groups. The U.S. opened with a dominant 5-0 showing against Trinidad and Tobago, a much-needed performance after four straight losses in the previous few months. The next two matches were tighter, a 1-0 win against guest team Saudi Arabia and a 2-1 win against Haiti, which sealed first place in Group D. Those three wins won't have pushed fans away from emo status, but they are a positive step for a national team that desperately needed it. Mexico won Group A but hasn't exactly been racking up style points. El Tri opened with a surprisingly competitive 3-2 win against the Dominican Republic, which was making its Gold Cup debut, then beat Suriname, which has only one win in Gold Cup play ever, by a modest 2-0 score. The finale against Costa Rica ended in a goalless draw. Impressive or not, Mexico won its group and is on what appears to be the easier half of the bracket. El Tri faces Saudi Arabia in Glendale, Arizona, on Saturday and would play the winner of Panama-Honduras in a semifinal. Panama won all three matches in Group C and scored the most goals in group play (10), but Guadeloupe, Guatemala and Jamaica do not make for a murderer's row. Canada set the tone early with a 6-0 win against Honduras in Vancouver, but was far less impressive in the two matches that followed. The Canadians drew 1-1 with Curaçao before beating El Salvador 2-0 in the finale. El Salvador had two red cards before halftime, completely changing the complexion of that match. The Americans arguably have the toughest draw of any of the four group winners, with Costa Rica on deck for a Sunday match in Minneapolis, which could be playing a factor in the odds to win the tournament. Costa Rica has been a strong team in the region for years and still has former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas leaving opposing strikers speechless. Keylor Navas is a brick wall out there 😱🧱🧤 — FOX Soccer (@FOXSoccer) June 23, 2025 Anchored by some stellar saves, Navas held Mexico at bay, but that was easily Costa Rica's most impressive result. Los Ticos needed a 103rd-minute (yes, that's right) penalty to beat Suriname 4-3 in the opener and needed an 85th-minute winner to beat the Dominican Republic 2-1. Navas is still an imposing figure in goal, but this is not prime Costa Rica. Advertisement The Americans are still solidly favored to get past Costa Rica with -375 odds to make it to the semifinals on BetMGM. Canada is the biggest favorite of the quarterfinals at -625 to advance past Guatemala. The four group winners mimic the four teams involved in the Concacaf Nations League semifinals that took place in March. Mexico won that tournament while the U.S. lost to both Panama and Canada, sparking a run that has instilled major doubts about the team and coach Mauricio Pochettino, less than a year out from a World Cup on home soil. A Gold Cup triumph could be a vibe reset for the Americans. Betting/odds links in this article are provided by partners of The Athletic. Restrictions may apply. Reason Falkirk's push for more tickets at Firhill was blocked

With a win on Friday night potentially securing Scottish Premiership promotion, the Bairns were hoping to extend their travelling support for what could be a historic moment in their campaign. However, Partick Thistle have stated that due to external factors, they are unable to house any more Falkirk supporters in another stand. A spokesperson for Thistle confirmed: 'As mentioned on Monday, discussions between the clubs and other agencies were held, but we regret to inform that we are not in a position to release any additional areas within the ground to Falkirk supporters. "We thoroughly explored the possibility of expanding capacity in other sections of the stadium, but this would have led to incurring police costs that would significantly outweigh any revenue generated from the additional ticket sales.' Read more: The decision has left Falkirk fans disappointed, particularly given the club's gesture in 2013 when they handed extra tickets to Partick Thistle supporters during a pivotal promotion match at Falkirk Stadium. Many had hoped that this show of sportsmanship would be reciprocated. While additional areas for Falkirk fans are unavailable, a small number of extra tickets, originally intended as complimentary briefs, will be made available for Falkirk supporters at 10am on Thursday. These tickets will be sold through the club's ticket partner, Fanbase. Falkirk released an update on Wednesday afternoon, saying: "With the away allocation selling out on Friday [April 18] evening, the club requested additional tickets to be made available to Falkirk supporters in another part of the stadium. "Partick Thistle discussed this with the various stakeholders, however we have now been informed it will not be possible. We wish to thank Partick Thistle for taking the time to explore this option on behalf of Falkirk FC. "A small number of additional tickets within the Colin Weir Stand, where Falkirk supporters are seated, will go sale to Falkirk supporters tomorrow at 10am via Fanbase. "The club wishes to take the opportunity to once again thank all Falkirk supporters for the incredible backing week in week out."

John McGlynn's Falkirk side, who are on the verge of a return to the top flight for the first time since the 2009/10 season, had requested additional briefs after selling out the Colin Weir Stand over the weekend.
