Jon Hamm reveals his 'gorgeous' childhood celebrity crush
Jon Hamm had a childhood crush on Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett. The 51-year-old actor has admitted he took a fancy to the two Charlie's Angels stars when he was younger, and he couldn't resist approaching Jaclyn when they were at an event together. Asked who he had a crush on growing up, he told W Magazine: "Farrah Fawcett from Charlie's Angels. Actually, Jaclyn Smith was my favorite Angel. "I met her about five years ago, and I did the thing that I hate when people do — I came up to her and said, 'I have to say hello. I'm sorry.' "She couldn't have been more pleasant, and she couldn't have been more gorgeous." Despite the Mad Men star being a big name in his own right, he admitted he still gets starstruck meeting other celebrities. He added: "For sure. Jeff Bridges, most recently. I got to work with him in 2018 on Bad Times at the El Royale. "It was a bucket list moment for me. I had been a fan of his since I was a kid. "Everybody loves him as the Dude, but I just remember seeing him and another crush of mine, Cybill Shepherd, in The Last Picture Show. That's one of my favorite movies of all time." Meanwhile, Jon opened up on the admiration he has for reality TV stars, noting that his wife has got him into the Real Housewives franchise. He said: "My wife turned me on to a lot of these shows, and now I've befriended Andy Cohen, and I get it. "Beverly Hills, New Jersey, New York — I'll sit there and I will watch it with glee. "Are they bad actors? I wouldn't want to see them in a fictional thing, but they're good at being themselves on those shows." And Jon insisted he would never want to swap his life as an actor to simply be himself on screen in that way. He added: "I can't imagine what that must be like. I wouldn't trade places with them for all the money in the world."

EXCLUSIVE Playboy vet with an illustrious screen career steps out for rare outing in LA... can you guess who?
A former Playboy magazine star stepped out for a rare outing in Los Angeles over the past weekend. The actress has worked alongside a number of celebrities throughout her decades-long career such as Farrah Fawcett, Donald Sutherland, Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson and John Belushi. The beauty began making appearances on the screen in the 70s and took on both minor and larger roles in shows such as Fantasy Island and Taxi. The star is also known for her role in a major soap opera series. Along with working in the entertainment industry, she additionally dabbled in the world of real estate beginning in the 90s. Can you guess who it is? It is Martha Smith, 72 - who notably became Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month back in July 1973. She is also known for making appearances in films such as Animal House (1978) and shows including Charlie's Angels and The Dukes Of Hazzard. The actress was spotted for an outing in L.A. over the past weekend on Sunday, June 8 and was stylishly causal in a pair of black pants as well as a dark green shirt. Smith's blonde locks were parted in the middle and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves, allowing her bangs to fall onto her forehead. Martha accessorized the outfit with an assortment of necklaces and sported a pair of black fashionable shades. The star easily carried a large, black Kate Spade bag in her hand to hold items she needed during the daytime excursion. Smith was born in October 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio and later graduated from Michigan State University. And in July 1973, she became Playmate of the Month at the age of 20 - and her centerfold had been photographed by Pompeo Posar. She is also known for making appearances in films such as Animal House (1978) and shows including Charlie's Angels and The Dukes Of Hazzard At the time, she opened up to Playboy magazine about her dreams of a career in filmmaking. 'I've talked to a lot of people, and they all give me different advice,' she stated at the time. 'My dream is to do it all, write the script, direct, be totally involved with the production of a film. 'That's a very large dream, I know, but I want to do it anyway. For now, I'm writing script outlines and, with a few friends, shooting some small productions around Detroit.' A few years later, Smith took on a minor role in the 1976 project The Winds Of Autumn - which also kicked off her professional acting career, per IMDB. She then made one episode appearances in shows such as Quincy, M.E., Charlie's Angels and How The West Was Won. In 1978, she portrayed the character of Babs Jansen in Nation Lampoon's Animal House alongside John Belushi, Tim Matheson, John Vernon and Verna Bloom. During a past interview with Martha reflected on landing the role in the John Landis-directed movie. She revealed that she had initially auditioned to be cast in the soap opera General Hospital - but had forgotten her lines which left her 'devastated.' However, she then landed a role in Animal House, which also happened to be her first major film. 'I had done only commercials and some small fly-by parts on television shows; the girl in a bikini who was killed after one or two scenes.' Smith continued, 'I was chloroformed, stabbed, shot, strangled, and beaten in the space of a few short years ... My mother grew increasingly concerned that this profession was damaging to my well-being.' Director Landis worked on a variety of projects aside from Animal House such as The Blues Brothers (1980), Trading Places (1983) and Coming To America (1988). When it came to working with Landis, Martha expressed, 'He would send these old classic movies postcards to us in the motel mailboxes that announced "We are making a classic movie!" and the like. 'Very exaggerated, or so it seemed at the time. He turned out to be right. I was impressed with his infectious enthusiasm as a director.' The actress added, 'There was no slacking on a Landis set. It didn't make sense - he kept the energy levels one decibel beneath frenetic all the time. 'The pacing that made the comedy bits bounce off the screen can largely be attributed to John's timing and high energy levels.' And throughout the 80s and 90s, she continued to star in projects including Fantasy Island and Blood Link. In 1982, Smith was cast as Dr. Sandy Horton in Days Of Our Lives - and played the role throughout 38 episodes. From 1983 through 1987, she portrayed the character of Francine Desmond in the CBS show Scarecrow And Mrs. King. Martha's last credit was the 2018 movie A Futile And Stupid Gesture.

Jennifer Aniston uses this brush on her famous locks, and it's just $7
Very few people have caused worldwide frenzies with their hair. Farrah Fawcett kickstarted a generation of flippy shag cuts with her famous swimsuit poster in 1976; Justin Bieber set millions of tweenage hearts aflutter with his "Bieber Cut" in the mid-2000s; and most recently, the blunt bob has made a comeback, with the likes of Halle Berry and Sydney Sweeney sporting the chop in recent red carpet appearances. But perhaps no one has experienced the world's absolute fixation on their hair quite like Jennifer Aniston has, especially when she debuted "The Rachel" on Friends in 1994. We've been fascinated by Jen's hair — and how she takes care of it — ever since. So when we see her trusting certain products and tools with her mega-famous mane, we take notice. We recently caught the icon using one particular brush on her hair in an Instagram clip demonstrating her Lolavie haircare line: the Wet Brush Brush Pro Flex Dry Brush, and it's just $7. I, too, am a Wet Brush devotee, but you don't have to trust me on the brush's greatness — Jennifer Aniston uses one to keep her luxe locks happy and healthy. Specifically, the Wet Brush Brush Pro Flex Dry Brush, which features open slats on the paddle to keep the brush flexible. This helps the brush contour to your scalp, reducing the amount of snags and tangles and helping to loosen any knots without contributing to breakage. Check out how she used the Wet Brush in this Instagram video: Using a $7 brush on one of the most famous locks in the world? You know it has to be good! This brush works best on wetter hair, as it is also one heckuva detangler. And you can use it all throughout your post-shower styling: the Wet Brush's HeatFlex bristles and open-vented design help cut down on drying time, too. Jennifer and I aren't the only fans of the Wet Brush — more than 8,300 Amazon shoppers have given the hairstyling hero a stylish five-star rating. Much of the brush's raves revolve around its innovative design: "An ingenious design lets the bristles of this brush move easily in every direction, to work gently through tangles," said one shopper. Another agreed, musing, "It's so lightweight and has some bendability to it. Really glides through your hair with no problems. I've owned two of these and they have lasted without breaking. Cuts down on the drying time — won't use any other brush after discovering the flex brush." "I was surprised of the quality of this brush," confessed a five-star fan. "Sturdy but flexible and gentle on tangled hair. As many as I've tried, this one is a keeper. A nice bonus is the color variety, too." Many reviewers noted their hair suffered a lot less breakage when using this brush. "This brush detangles my hair quickly and easily without any pulling or breakage," shared one. Another reviewer added, "This brush is perfect for my long hair, which gets tangled. This brush is good at getting the tangles out without yanking hair out." Not everyone was totally sold on it, due to the flexible design, the brush may be more prone to breaking itself: "I got another for a backup because they do wear out after a while and will break, but they are still the best detangling brush that I've found," said one user. The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication. If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
