Vodafone Qatar inks MoU with The View Hospital and KMC
Tribune News Network Doha Vodafone Qatar has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The View Hospital and the Korean Medical Centre (KMC) to foster collaboration, empower healthcare leadership, and advance wellbeing initiatives across Qatar. The MoU was formally signed by Baran Yurdagul, chief operating officer at Vodafone Qatar, and Dr. Fatih Mehmet Gul, chief executive officer, on behalf of The View Hospital and KMC. Key areas of collaboration under the MoU include joint employee engagement campaigns such as internal awareness initiatives and workshops. Vodafone Qatar will support the partnership by enabling secure, data-driven healthcare through its advanced 5G connectivity, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, and cloud technologies. These technologies will further support the development of smart systems, facilitate real-time remote patient monitoring, and enhance coordinated care .Under this agreement, The View Hospital and KMC will also explore offering products and services at special rates to Vodafone Qatar employees. Yurdagul said, 'Vodafone Qatar is committed to innovation, technological development, and enabling Qatar's digital transformation, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The View Hospital, which opened in 2022, is the result of an affiliation between Apex Health, and Cedars-Sinai. The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs, with 240 inpatient beds andseveral specialties and centers of excellence—all equipped with the latest technology. Apex Health's recent visit to Cedars-Sinai reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to elevate patient-centered care, advance clinical excellence, build a healthcare model that transcends borders and to explore new avenues for global healthcare collaboration. Discussions focused on expanding the existing affiliation with Cedars-Sinai, not only through deeper clinical integration at The View Hospital, but also by exploring opportunities to extend this collaboration across Apex Health's growing network in the Middle East and North Africa. The View Hospital today announced that it has earned Joint Commission International's Gold Seal of Approval - 8th Edition for Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its internationally recognized standards. The Gold Seal of Approval is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.
