Jacob Fatu has been a dominant force since arriving in WWE, and the company is reportedly preparing to put its full promotional weight behind him. A new report suggests that a major marketing push is in the works for the former United States Champion, signaling his ascent to top-tier status. According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on WrestleBinge, WWE is planning a push for Fatu that extends far beyond his on-screen booking. This move comes after Fatu recently turned babyface, opening him up to a broader audience. A Major WWE Push The report indicates that WWE is working on exclusive, city-themed merchandise specifically for Jacob Fatu. This is a strategy typically reserved for the company's biggest babyfaces, like John Cena and Cody Rhodes, and is a clear sign that the company views Fatu as a potential "franchise name." In addition to the merchandise line, the company also plans to feature Fatu in more public-facing appearances. The goal is to build his visibility and make him a recognizable face for the company both in and out of the ring. Drew McIntyre Takes a Brutal Dig at the Fatu Family's Legacy in the WWE

Image via WWE The Samoan Dynasty has one of the richest wrestling legacies in the history of the business. From 'High Chief' Peter Miavia to Rocky Johnson or modern greats like The Rock and Roman Reigns , the family has been at the forefront of the sport ever since their inception. And it is only natural that whenever any family member makes their debut in the WWE , the world notices. The Bloodline saga dominated the promotion for over four years, followed by The New Bloodline storyline, which pitted half a dozen family members. The point is that every single member, ranging from Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga, received widespread attention once they decided to debut in the Stamford-based promotion. And this is something that hasn't sat well with Drew McIntyre. Drew McIntyre Says the 'Fatu' Surname Is a Golden Ticket to Stardom Ahead of his blockbuster match against Randy Orton at Saturday Night's Main Event, the former WWE Champion sat with Kent Brown of Sports Illustrated to promote his upcoming outing. While discussing his career and the path to success, he quipped that the surname 'Fatu' holds great value and can help newcomers gain an unfair advantage over others. 'No, I couldn't really care less what your last name is. My journey is very different from basically anybody's ever. I came from Scotland and was the first-ever Scottish person ever signed directly from Scotland to WWE, a country of five million people. I've had such a unique journey, [with] a lot of ups and downs on the way. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why seniors are rushing to get this Internet box – here's why! ' Drew McIntyre RIPS John Cena & CM Punk 'The Scottish Warrior' then took a sly dig at the Fatu family and quipped, 'In today's day and age, it's lucky I'm as good as I am, or I might get lost in the shuffle because I suggest to a lot of the talent backstage when they're asking for advice, 'Maybe change your last name to Fatu or something.' You might get more opportunities.' There is some truth to what the former WWE Champion said. McIntyre was 'The Chosen One' when he arrived in the promotion back in 2010. However, he had to work hard to earn the main event spot in the independent circuit and TNA as Drew Galloway before making his way back to the company and becoming its top star. On the other hand, members of the Fatu family have had the spotlight since the get-go, with Solo Sikoa feuding with every other top dog in the business, including Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and Roman Reigns. He recently won the United States title, the same as Jacob Fatu, who is also relatively new to the company. Jacob Fatu Ambushes Solo Sikoa on SmackDown After United States Title Loss

Image via Imagn The Bloodline saga has dominated the WWE for a couple of years now, and things are not expected to slow down anytime soon. At Night of Champions 2025, Solo Sikoa finally clinched his first singles title on the main roster as he beat his former stablemate Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship. The ending of the match was not clean as Sikoa used the help of a returning Tonga Loa and a debuting Tala Tonga, who attacked 'The Samoan Werewolf' and cost him the match and the title. And things really heated up during the opening of the July 4th SmackDown in Pittsburgh when Fatu took matters into his own hands. Jacob Fatu Beats Solo Sikoa Senseless Ahead of the Tag Team Main Event on SmackDown The opening of the show saw Solo Sikoa arrive at the arena with his newly won United States Championship. He was clearly in the mood to celebrate after his victory in Riyadh, but before he could get out of the car, 'The Samoan Werewolf' ambushed the new champion. Tonga Loa and JC Mateo tried to interfere to save their leader but to no avail. Fatu took care of business as he sent Mateo crashing into the front door of the vehicle in which the stable members arrived. In what seemed to be a rather humorous shot, Sikoa was left hanging out from the window pane of the car as he did not get a chance to get out and was beaten senselessly while in the vehicle. However, this wasn't the end of the night for the former Bloodline members. In the show's main event, Sikoa teamed up with JC Mateo to face Jimmy Uso and Fatu. The match ended with Fatu's trademark moonsault as he pinned the United States Champion clean to win the match. In the aftermath, Fatu was attacked by none other than Tala Tonga, with Tonga Loa interfering as well. After taking out Uso, they turned their attention to Fatu and ended the show by putting 'The Samoan Werewolf' through the table via a triple powerbomb. Apart from this, Sikoa also revealed the name of his newly formed stable. He dumped 'The Bloodline' name and took 'MFT' (My Family Tree) as the new stable name for his group, which now consists of Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Tala Tonga.
