Tata Motors has opened bookings for the Harrier EV , its new electric offering in the midsize SUV segment. The announcement follows the earlier unveiling of the vehicle and price reveal. The Harrier EV was introduced with a starting price of ₹21.49 lakh for the base V1 variant, going up to ₹28.99 lakh for the top-end V4 Long Range QWD variant (ex-showroom). Customers can now reserve the vehicle at authorised dealerships or online. Variants, range and powertrain The Harrier EV is offered in two battery sizes with both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive "Quad Wheel Drive" (QWD) options. 65 kWh RWD variants range from ₹21.49 lakh to ₹23.99 lakh (Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus), ARAI-certified range of 538 km. 75 kWh RWD and top-spec Empowered variants (RWD at ₹27.49 lakh; QWD at ₹28.99 lakh) offer up to 627 km (RWD) and 622 km (QWD) range. The QWD variant features twin motors delivering 390 bhp and 504 Nm of torque, with a 0–100 km/h sprint time of 6.3 seconds. The RWD model produces 238 bhp and similar torque . Specifications Built on Tata's Plus platform, the Harrier EV supports DC fast charging: 120 kW charger takes it from 20–80 % in ~25 minutes, and AC charging: 7.2 kW home charger = ~10.7 hours full charge. The vehicle features Vehicle-to‑Load (V2L, 3.3 kW) and Vehicle‑to‑Vehicle (V2V, 5 kW) power export capabilities. The QWD version includes six terrain modes and transparent-bonnet '540° view' camera. The Harrier EV joins Tata's growing EV lineup—alongside the Nexon EV and Punch EV—and represents the company's first mass-market electric SUV with AWD capability.

Tata Motors recently launched the new Tata Harrier EV SUV in the Indian market. The new EV SUV is the carmaker's most powerful, technologically advanced, and feature-rich electric vehicle to date. It also marks the brand's debut offering with an all-wheel-drive configuration. The company has announced the prices only for the RWD variants, the prices for the top-end Empowered AWD variant will be revealed later. Bookings will begin on July 2, 2025, and interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest Tata dealership. The Harrier EV RWD is offered in a total of five variants and two battery pack options - 65 kWh and 75 kWh. The 65 kWh is available in Adventure, Adventure S and Fearless Plus priced at Rs 21.49 lakh, Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 23.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The bigger 75 kWh battery pack is offered in Fearless Plus and Empowered, priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 27.49 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The Harrier EV is offered in four colour options - Empowered Oxide, Nainital Nocturne, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. This new SUV is the carmaker's most powerful, technologically advanced, and feature-rich electric vehicle to date. It also marks the brand's debut offering with an all-wheel-drive configuration. The bookings for the Harrier EV RWD will begin on July 2, 2025. Interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest Tata dealership. Deliveries are expected to start soon.
