Fans on social media loved the video, reaffirming their love and respect for the Fever star and telling a few jokes as well. "That argument would stand up in court," one user joked in the comments. "You had a excellent game last night you're a great defender," wrote another. "Have a great day. You are talented and beautiful also." Advertisement "You are absolutely correct!! Boston did her part as well with 21 points of her own. Howard contributed a double-double with a game-leading 13 rebounds to go with her 15 points. The Fever will return to action on July 1 in the Commissioner's Cup Final against the Minnesota Lynx. WNBA fans left 'heartbroken' by Caitlin Clark news
WNBA fans have been left heartbroken by the news that Caitlin Clark was ruled out of her second straight Indiana Fever game on Friday night against the Dallas Wings with a left groin injury. Clark also missed Thursday's home game against the Los Angeles Sparks with the same ailment, with Fever fans desperately missing her in a 85-75 defeat to one of the worst teams in the league. No long-term declaration to Clark's health has been made, with Indiana's following game on Tuesday being the WNBA Commissioner's Cup Finals against the Minnesota Lynx. A win against the Lynx would hand the Fever their first trophy since winning the WNBA Championship in 2012, making Clark's health for that contest paramount. Many fans are in the Metroplex for the Fever's showdown against Paige Bueckers and the Wings, in a matchup of last year's rookie phenom, against the biggest first-year player of 2025. Now, their frustrations of missing out on the first Clark-Bueckers professional matchup and another Clark injury absence have spilled onto social media. 'Wishing Caitlin a speedy recovery. I won't lie I am pretty heartbroken, but in no way is it her fault. I've been wanting to see her play basketball for the past couple of years and this was my first chance. I'm sure it'll be an amazing game, the fever have a fantastic team,' one WNBA fan said. 'Huge bummer. This will be my daughter's first WNBA game and we've been so excited for months. We will still be cheering on the Fever!!!' a second supporter stated. 'Get well @CaitlinClark22 I'm so sorry this League, (Front Office), Coach, (coaching staff) and Training team failed you. You will always have your fans support. This is not on you and we all know that,' a third said. 'CAITLIN NO. Get well soon though I hope to see you in the next game fever strong,' a fourth added. 'Too many injuries rest her til All Star break..,' a fifth concluded. A collection of heartbroken social-media messages from Caitlin Clark's fans about her injury Before Clark's second multi-game injury absence of the season, her teammates were rallying around her after a few dismal performances. Despite Clark's injury-return game against the New York Liberty on June 14, after missing five games, and the scrappy contest against the Connecticut Sun a few days later, the WNBA phenom's usually sharpshooting touch has been anything but ironclad. Against the Seattle Storm, Clark was 3-for-13 from the field, including an 0-of-6 mark from 3-point range. In the Fever's two previous games before Tuesday night's victory, Clark combined for a 1-of-17 mark from beyond the arc, an unimaginable two-game line by the lofty standards set by the point guard. 'She'll be fine. We're not worried about it,' Fever teammate Lexie Hull said of Clark's form. Clark's previous injury was a quad strain, suffered against the Liberty on May 24.

WNBA Fans React To Caitlin Clark Injury Announcement
WNBA Fans React To Caitlin Clark Injury Announcement originally appeared on The Spun. WNBA fans likely got a rude awakening this morning when they learned that Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was ruled out of today's game against the Los Angeles Sparks. Advertisement A short while ago, the Fever announced that Clark will miss the game against the Sparks with a left groin injury. This will be the sixth game she's missed this season after playing the entirety of her rookie season in 2024. On one hand, the injury would certainly explain why Clark has been going through one of the worst stretches of her playing career over the past three games. On the other hand, the Fever have struggled when Clark has struggled and might struggle even more in her complete absence. WNBA fans were pretty bummed out by the news. Many were upset while others agreed that the injury explains her recent slump: Advertisement "This explains a lot. No way she's this off, if not for injury. Rest up and back stronger," one user remarked. "Good job playing her the last few seconds in a game already decided. The Connecticut folks have some explaining to do," wrote another. "Let her sit until she is 100%. There is a lot of season left. She can't elevate for shots on a bum leg," a third pointed out. "Ughhh nooo Caitlin's out tonight?? My heart can't take this. Wishing her a speedy recovery. Take all the time you need, queen. That left groin better behave because we will miss every inch of her magic on that court." "Dang it! My mom and her friends were heading up for the game tonight." Advertisement "Lighting an incense and praying to gods I don't believe in to heal that left leg." (Photo by)In the short term, the WNBA might take another ratings hit. The last time Clark was out for multiple games, ratings reportedly dropped in half. Granted, some of the lost ratings might have been due to the ongoing NBA Finals. With no other major sporting events going on in this dead period of the summer, we might get a better idea of how the WNBA really looks when Clark isn't out there. Caitlin Clark Praised for What She Did After Fever's Win Over Liberty
Caitlin Clark Praised for What She Did After Fever's Win Over Liberty originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Caitlin Clark returned to the court on Saturday afternoon after being sidelined for five games due to a quad injury, and she delivered in full force as the Indiana Fever beat the New York Liberty 102–88, handing the Liberty their first loss of the season. Advertisement Clark tallied 32 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, while shooting 11-for-20 from the field and 7-for-14 from the 3-point line. She scored a career-high 25 first-half points in the win, despite playing in spurts as Fever head coach Stephanie White eased her back into the rotation. Nonetheless, the former Iowa star received high praise for what she did after the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, staying late to sign autographs, take pictures, and interact with young Fever fans. Fan reactions: "I love how good she is with the kids. All the Fever players are for that matte," a fan said. Advertisement "Just a great and anointed human being," someone else added. Another fan posted, "Man she just awesome. I bet those shoes did not leave her feet lol." One more fan commented, "Young and old, they all love CC." Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22).Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images Clark has made it a priority to give back to all the fans who have supported her along the way — and continue to do so. During her injury, while sidelined, she often made her way up and down the aisles to sign autographs for fans, and nothing has changed now that she's back on the court. Back in April 2024, before being drafted into the WNBA, Clark shared a clear outlook on what giving back to young fans means to her. Advertisement 'The people I idolized in my life were, you know, either professional women's basketball players, professional soccer players, and that's what I wanted to be growing up,' Clark said. 'And I think, you know, understanding how big of an impact that can have on a young girl's life is super important.' Clark continues, 'So I always try to make as much time as I can for them. And just to see them scream your name or have your jersey on — that's something that never gets old.'
