BBC confirms series 3 of Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams

During the series, he transformed a rundown cricket club and changed the lives of the players in his "unlikely" team. Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams returned two years later (in 2024) for a second series, which saw the team head to India for a cricket tour. The vehicle was open-top, meaning that when it flipped, Flintoff's face scraped along the tarmac, causing serious facial injuries. BBC confirms return of Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams Flintoff recently revealed filming for series three of Field of Dreams had concluded, while speaking on the Stick to Cricket Podcast (brought to you by Betfair). Now, the BBC has confirmed the return of the critically acclaimed, BAFTA-nominated and RTS award-winning Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams. The third series will see the former England cricket captain take on "an even tougher challenge", with Flintoff determined to prove "his previous previous success wasn't a one off". The BBC said: "He's now set his sights on a much more ambitious plan. "Freddie wants to supersize the project right across the North West of England: He'll attempt to form boys teams in Manchester (Newton Heath) and Liverpool (Bootle) while also attempting to create his first ever girls team in Blackpool at a club without any youth teams. "Can he prove his blueprint for a league of dreams can work against a backdrop of a lack of funding, uninspired teens and derelict cricket clubs?" England Women's international player Kate Cross will join Freddie Flintoff for series three of Field of Dreams. "I'm so pleased that he is back for another series building on the success of the last one.' A release date for series three of Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams is yet to be revealed.
