Video shows suspect in Las Vegas Strip double murder turning self in

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Video the 8 News Now Investigators obtained Wednesday shows Manuel Ruiz, 41, the man accused of killing a couple on the Las Vegas Strip, turning himself in to police. Ruiz, also known as streamer 'Sin City Manny,' faces two murder charges after Las Vegas Metro police said he gunned down Rodney Finley, 44; also known as 'Finny Da Legend,' and his wife, Tanisha Finley, 43, near the Bellagio Fountains. The confrontation on Sunday night was caught on video during a livestream. It stemmed from a beef between the YouTube streamers, police said. Ruiz later turned himself in to Henderson police and told detectives he acted in self-defense. A Henderson police officer's body camera recorded as Ruiz waits in the lobby of the police station. 'Can you come over here real quick? Just face the wall right here,' the Henderson officer said. 'We're just gonna detain you real quick, okay?' Ruiz complied as another officer placed him in handcuffs. 'You got any weapons on you?' the officer asked. 'No,' Ruiz replied. The first officer retrieved a chair for Ruiz and told him he was heading to get a lieutenant. Ruiz was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. He remained at the Clark County Detention Center without bail on Wednesday. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
