THUNDERBOLTS* Gag Reel Sees Cast Getting Silly and Making Many Funny Noises—Exclusive Look

Thunderbolts* marked a return to form for the MCU. The franchise's newest super squad came together in an exciting, emotional story. This unlikely union of rejects, failures, has-beens, and never-weres made for a touching and thoughtful tale of found family, purpose, and redemption. Plus it was also really freaking funny. And that was just as true off-screen as it was on. Nerdist has your exclusive first look at Thunderbolts* gag reel from the film's upcoming home release. It's so delightful that even Yelena Belova would laugh at it. Are you not already 100% positive Florence Pugh is one of the most charming people on the planet? What! Why? Actually, don't answer, because this Thunderbolts* gag reel will be all the proof you need to know she is. She's the star of this very funny montage of on-set mistakes, mishaps, misquotes, and minor injuries. There's also a big missed cartwheel into an open elevator. Yet somehow that's not even the only elevator failure in this fun video. Turns out it's hard to make a big dramatic exit when an elevator door won't shut. The flip side is that it's easy to turn that moment into a big laugh for cast and crew alike. This Thunderbolts* gag reel is just one of the many bonus features MCU fans will find when the film makes its debut at both digital shops on July 1 before releasing on Blu-ray on July 29. Other extras include deleted scenes, a director's audio commentary from Jake Schreier, and a bevy of featurettes about the making of the film. We'll never know for sure how many takes got interrupted by an elevator-related issue, but if more of them exist, we hope Marvel Studios saves them for the film's tenth anniversary re-release. We loved Thunderbolts*, which really was a return to form for the MCU. But whether a movie was great or not, gag reels never disappoint. And this Thunderbolts* gag reel is certainly worthy of the new Avengers. RELATED ARTICLE Florence Pugh Fought MCU Lawyers to Jump Off World's Second Tallest Building in THUNDERBOLTS*
