Mercedes-Benz Egypt Hosts Exclusive F1® Movie Premiere in ScreenX
Mercedes-Benz Egypt brought together VIP customers, fans of the brand, partners, media guests, and motorsport enthusiasts for an exclusive Red Carpet movie premiere night of the highly anticipated F1® The Movie at Scene Cinemas, debuting in its exclusive ScreenX hall by Scene Cinema at Cairo Festival City Mall. This special event is a part of the global co-promotion campaign between Mercedes-AMG and Apple Original Films, celebrating the cinematic debut of one of the year's most exciting racing blockbusters. Filmed at actual Formula 1® races around the world, the film will deliver authentic racing action combined with equally compelling characters and a powerful story. As an official promotional partner of Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures, MercedesAMG supported the film crew with F1® team know-how as well as performance vehicles and sports-car models from its current portfolio. Off the racetrack, an SL, a G-class and a GT are featured on screen. The MercedesAMG Official FIA F1® Safety Car and Medical Car were also provided for use in the movie, in action. A global co-promotion campaign in AMG's core markets supporting the movie's release will round off the partnership. Formula 1 launches new personalised mobile app and website
Formula 1® has relaunched its mobile app and website to make them easier to navigate and to allow fans to personalise their experience, accessing all the information and content they want more quickly and in a way that suits them. Within the innovative, updated F1 mobile app, fans can now curate their experience by selecting multiple drivers and teams for detailed tracking during sessions, as well as following their overall performance across the season. The redesigned homepage promotes both short-form and long-form video content and introduces new formats such as mobile-first stories and vertical video, which provide a more modern and familiar user experience and integrate best practices from across social platforms and digital entertainment products. Both redesigned platforms will also showcase content from F1 TV for fans who want to watch premium live and on-demand action, as well as key telemetry and data points from the embedded Live Timing subscription service. The ultimate F1 companions, the app and website were tested with the fan-base throughout the development, ensuring their requests were prioritised alongside all of the other enhancements. Accessibility was an important element, with video overlays enabling fans to watch content with or without sound, while the adaptive font-sizes and dark/light modes ensure content is available to the widest possible audience. The app and website changes initially focus on improved content discovery across breaking news, race and technical analysis, location guides, along with the much-loved Fantasy and Predict games, where fans can test their knowledge against each other. Hot Wheels Unveils F1® THE MOVIE Die-cast Car, Bringing the Big Screen to 1:64 Scale
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ahead of the global theatrical release of Apple Original Films' F1® The Movie, Hot Wheels® announced today a limited-edition die-cast car inspired by the fictional Apex Grand Prix (APXGP) team, driven by the film's character Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt. The 1:64 scale Formula 1® die-cast will be available for purchase on beginning June 24, prior to the release of the film in theaters on June 27, from Warner Bros. Pictures. The 1:64 scale die-cast channels the high-octane energy and cutting-edge design of the APXGP team's Formula 1 car, bringing movie magic and motorsport realism together in true Hot Wheels fashion. The 2026 Formula 1® calendar has been officially revealed, confirming the return of the Qatar Grand Prix to the Lusail International Circuit from November 27–29. Marking the penultimate round of the championship, the race promises high-stakes wheel-to-wheel action as Formula 1® enters a new era. The 2026 season will mark a revolutionary chapter in Formula 1® history with the introduction of all-new technical regulations. The next-generation cars will be lighter (768kg vs 800kg), shorter, and narrower, designed to be more agile.
