Forward Moukoko leaves Borussia Dortmund to join Copenhagen

Forward Youssoufa Moukoko is leaving Borussia Dortmund to join Copenhagen, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Saturday.
According to media reports, Dortmund will receive a transfer fee of around €5 million ($5.86 million).

"It's not easy to say goodbye to a club like Dortmund, because this club, my team-mates, coaches and the great fans will always mean a lot to me," Moukoko said.
Moukoko joined the Dortmund youth academy at 11 years old. In 2020, at the age of 16, he made his professional debut and became the youngest player to play a Bundesliga game. Last season, he played at Nice on loan.
"Unfortunately, his development has recently stalled. I'm sure everyone involved would have liked it to be different," sporting director Sebastian Kehl said.
