GOP rep speaks out after being forced to evacuate offices over threats from pro-abortion activists
Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., is speaking out about the death threats she's received from pro-abortion activists after publicly sharing her experience with a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy — an ordeal that ultimately led to the evacuation of her offices. Cammack told "Fox & Friends First" on Friday that she was targeted by pro-abortion activists after sharing her life-threatening ectopic pregnancy story with The Wall Street Journal. Last May, the Florida congresswoman found herself in a frightening position when her doctors were hesitant to treat her possibly fatal pregnancy complication due to the state's near-total abortion ban. "It took about 10 days to discover exactly what was going on. Doctors originally thought that I was just miscarrying, and then they discovered a very rare ectopic — actually one of the rarest and most dangerous types of ectopic pregnancies you can have," she said. Cammack noted that while Florida's abortion laws have exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother, her doctors were still hesitant to provide her with life-saving care because they were scared they would face losing their license or even being sent to prison. "I literally was lying on the table reading them the law, and it dawned on me as I was sitting there with my husband — this is what women are experiencing because of the fearmongering around women's healthcare, and it has to stop," she asserted, adding, "The left absolutely played a role in making sure that doctors and women were scared to seek out the help that they needed." Following the publication of her story in The Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Cammack began receiving death threats from pro-abortion activists, leading to the evacuation of her offices. One of the threats she received read: "We would be better off if you hadn't survived. The only good Republican is a dead Republican." Cammack said that she's received "thousands of threatening phone calls" and more than three dozen "actionable, credible" death threats since sharing her story. "Things that are so horrible, like 'I'm going to come cut out your unborn child and roast it over a fire.' Things that I can't say on air," the congresswoman recalled. "What is really, really scary is the vitriol and the fact that people don't even want to look into the details or take accountability for their actions," she said. According to Cammack, the most important lesson she's taken away from her traumatic experience is that there's not only a "literacy crisis" unfolding in the country, but also a basic lack of understanding of "what healthcare for women is," adding that "ectopic pregnancies are not abortions."

Lindsey Graham hails 'decisive' Operation Midnight Hammer, says Trump showed there's a 'new sheriff in town'
President Donald Trump reversed the damage from former President Joe Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal in just a few hours, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox News late Monday, shortly after the president announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran. "By destroying Iran's nuclear facilities, by using B-2 bombers, helping Israel, but delivering a decisive blow, which was bold and brilliant, President Trump let every other adversary in the world know Joe Biden doesn't live in the White House anymore. There's a new sheriff in town," Graham said during an appearance on "Hannity." "He's been strong, he's been measured… He wants peace, but it takes two people to have peace…" The Palmetto State Republican suggested such an agreement could yield one of two outcomes – being a "major league accomplishment" if genuine and leading to peace, but bearing the risk of backsliding into chaos if Iran uses the time to rearm and regroup. To determine the difference, Graham challenged Iran's foreign minister to publicly announce that the Iranian regime no longer wishes to destroy the state of Israel, has abandoned its policy of "killing all the Jews" and recognizes Israel as a "legitimate sovereign nation entitled to live in the region in peace." "If they will say that, that is a giant leap forward and may lead to peace through a ceasefire. If they can't say that... that probably tells you all you need to know," he added. Trump announced the agreement between the sparring Middle Eastern nations on Monday, claiming the "12-day war" would end following a phased implementation over 24 hours. A senior Iranian official also confirmed the ceasefire deal, according to Reuters. A diplomat briefed on the ceasefire talks shared more details on the deal with Fox News. "President Trump spoke with Qatar's emir and informed him the U.S. got Israel to agree to a ceasefire with Iran," the source shared. "The president asked Qatar to help persuade Iran to do the same, following that Vice President Vance coordinated with Qatar's prime minister on the details." The source added that "this effort proved successful and, following discussions with the Qatari PM, the Iranians agreed." Israel claimed Iran violated the agreement early Tuesday when at least one Iranian missile was reportedly intercepted after the ceasefire went into effect. Iran denies that its government has violated the agreement, however. Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz said he ordered the military to "respond forcefully" to Iran's alleged violation with "high-intensity strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran." Victoria Coates, former deputy national security advisor to Trump, told "Fox & Friends First" on Tuesday that she believes the ceasefire is "recoverable" despite the accusations.

Mobile teaching kitchens roll out in West Virginia to fight state's high obesity rate
Gov. Patrick Morrisey of West Virginia (R) is continuing to pave the way in the "Make America Healthy Again" movement, launching yet another healthy initiative. In an appearance on "Fox & Friends First" on Wednesday morning, the governor discussed West Virginia Health Right's mobile teaching kitchens. The nonprofit "clinics on wheels" will travel across the state to demonstrate healthy cooking tips, share nutrition information with residents and conduct health exams such as blood pressure readings and body mass index checks. The governor opened his home, inviting West Virginians to the mansion to allow families to see how to practice healthy habits on their own. "People came by and learned that you can eat very [healthily] for a very reasonable price," he said. "And it's not that hard to cook [this food] and have it taste really good as well," he added. West Virginia has the highest childhood obesity rate in America, at over 42%. That's according to the State of Childhood Obesity organization. I was pleased to join WV Health Right to unveil their Mobile Teaching Kitchen to help educate West Virginians on how to prepare healthy meals at home. Making healthy food choices is important to making West Virginia healthy again. "Here in West Virginia, we're trying to make West Virginia healthy again," Morrisey said. "Because unfortunately, we've led the way [on] a lot of the disease states that have really hurt our state, whether obesity or diabetes or stroke or many other items." He added, "We want to make sure that we reverse those bad trends and you have to start one step at a time or one good bite at a time." Morrisey shared that the program is just another step in his four MAHA pillars for the Mountain State. The state has defined the pillars as the following: clean up the food; find purpose, find health, move your body; change your life; and reward healthy choices. "We've encouraged people to get out and exercise and I'm trying to lead by example, you know, every day trying to walk over 10,000 steps and just encourage people to go out and walk," said Morrisey in part. The state plans to designate official "Mountaineer Mile trails" in its 32 state parks that have hiking trails. "We're getting a lot of traction with our Mountaineer Mile, and everyone knows the importance of getting out and working and walking," Morrisey previously told Fox News Digital. "That's really starting to gain a lot of strength in West Virginia." Another day, another #MountaineerMile, and some relaxation, in one of our many beautiful lakes and state parks. #WVStateParks #StonewallResort Getting Americans healthy again requires a multipronged approach to reducing rates of obesity, diabetes, stroke and congestive heart failure, according to the governor. "You're taking the crap out of the food, you're incentivizing people to eat good food … making sure people are working and have purposeful lives, and then we're also encouraging people to go out and exercise," Morrisey previously told Fox News Digital.

Ex-Democratic leader warns party is 'dying' as key issues leave voters wanting 'new way forward'
Former California Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero warned Tuesday that the party she once called home is "on its last stand," accusing its members of abandoning common sense and core American values in favor of identity politics. "It is a dying party. It will go the way of the Whigs in a century past," she said while appearing on "Fox & Friends First." "The new way forward is an America-first party, the Republican Party under Donald Trump… This is really a new party, and it's one that recognizes that borders matter, citizenship matters, safety for all [matters]. We care about the content of one's character much more than we care about the color of our skin, and across the board… we are there together to say, 'Stop the nonsense. Speak common sense.'" Former Democrat Hill Staffers Challenge The Aging Establishment In Congress: Report Romero said many former Democrats – Tulsi Gabbard, Leo Terrell, RFK, Jr. and herself included – tried to be voices for reform within the party, but saw the writing on the wall and ultimately resigned themselves to leaving altogether. Her comments lambasting Democrats came after Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman bucked his party over the border and antisemitism during a Fox Nation-hosted debate with his Republican colleague Sen. Dave McCormick on Monday. Read On The Fox News App "Antisemitism [is] out of control… Building tent cities on a campus and terrorizing and intimidating Jewish students – that's not free speech, and now we've lost the argument in parts of my party," he conceded. Biden Cover-up Scandal Could Usher In New Era Of Republican Dominance "Our party did not handle the border appropriately. Look at the numbers: 267,000, 300,000 people showing up at our border. Now that's unacceptable and that's a national security issue and that is chaos." Romero applauded the Keystone State lawmakers for showcasing a commitment to working across the aisle in a way she wishes more politicians would consider. "Sadly, Democrats are still caught in that web, the ideology of identity politics, and it [working across the aisle] has not yet taken root," she Here To Join Fox Nation "They still stand up and scream that everybody's a Nazi, everybody's racist. Or still defend open borders, deny the rampant antisemitism, and refuse to stand up for America first. But hopefully, with the Fetterman-McCormick discussion debate, I hope it really sends a message across the country that this is what the American people want – for our elected officials to grow up, to listen to each other, and work with each other for Americans."Original article source: Ex-Democratic leader warns party is 'dying' as key issues leave voters wanting 'new way forward'

Ex-Mumford & Sons guitarist criticizes music industry for silence after Boulder antisemitic attack
Former Mumford & Sons guitarist Winston Marshall said Monday he is "disappointed" by the music industry's failure to condemn Hamas following a brutal antisemitic attack that unfolded in Boulder, Colorado over the weekend. Speaking on "Fox & Friends First," Marshall called the attack "horrific" and "unsurprising," especially in light of the recent murders of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C. nearly two weeks ago. "My frustration isn't just at the horrific things that we see, but the failure by certain parts of the country to acknowledge it's even happening…" he said. Liberal, Pro-israel Comedian Says There's A Double Standard For Celebrities Who Back The Jewish State "What do you think they mean when they say, 'globalize the Intifada?' If you have these big groups chanting this, then there will be individuals like this case in Boulder who will actually act on it," he said. Egyptian national Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was arrested by authorities on Sunday after he allegedly set his victims on fire as they peacefully rallied on behalf of Israeli hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza. He was heard yelling "Free Palestine" and other anti-Israel slogans during the attack on victims ranging in age from 52 to 88. Read On The Fox News App Marshall criticized high-profile examples of what he sees as the music industry failing to condemn such violent acts while some embrace pro-Palestinian messaging. In one recent case, rock band Imagine Dragons set social media ablaze after lead singer Dan Reynolds waved a Palestinian flag on stage during a concert in Milan, Italy. Video clips of Reynolds picking up a Palestinian flag and waving it before draping it across his shoulders at the concert's end racked up millions of views and drew mixed reactions on social media. Radiohead Singer Confronts Anti-israel Protester During Concert: 'Come Up Here And Say That' He also kissed the flag and threw it back into the crowd. "I'm disappointed by also the reaction in the music industry where I have spent my career so regularly," Marshall said. "I should also note there are 58 hostages still in Gaza, 23 of whom are still presumed alive. Why is it that these protesters aren't protesting against Hamas? It is in their interests. If you are pro-Palestine, you should be anti-Hamas. If you're pro-Israel, you should be anti-Hamas. Hamas are literally killing Palestinians themselves. It seems like a complete moral inversion, and… I don't quite know how [to] get into that frame of mind because it's so twisted to me." He went on to say the slew of antisemitic violence is "very dark" to see in America.
