THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Clip: Someone Wants Pedro Pascal's Child (Again)
Cersei wanted the Sand Snakes dead. Moff Gideon wanted Grogu's DNA. The Fireflies wanted Ellie's immunity. Now, yet again, someone is coming for Pedro Pascal's (fictional) child. A new clip from The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows Marvel's first family telling their world why they could not reach a deal with Galactus. The giant cosmic entity wants Reed and Sue's son, Franklin Richards. The Fantastic Four's world is not safe in this new clip from Marvel Studios. In it, the group holds a press conference to announce it has not defeated Galactus. They went to space to negotiate with the enormous enemy, but 'he asked too high a price.' That price was Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman's newborn son. It was a price they were unwilling to pay. It's not known if they understand why he made that request, but we have an idea why Galactus wants their powerful kid. He is potentially going to be very important to the future of the MCU. But people of the world the Fantastic Four protects have a different question they want answered in this scene. They want to know, 'Are we safe?' Not even pop culture's famous dad is sure about that. This clip clarifies why Franklin Richards has been such an important presence in the promotional material for the movie. Multiple trailers have made clear that, despite being a baby, he's going to play a significant role in the film. A previously released clip also showed Johnny and Ben learning Sue was pregnant, which now feels even more important than it seemed. People are always coming after Pedro Pascal's kids in film and television. Again and again! But the good news for Franklin Richards is that his onscreen dad has plenty of experience keeping his fictional kids safe. Just….just don't ask about what happened to the Sand Snakes. No child should have to learn about how Game of Thrones ended.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Teaser Trailer Confirms Galactus' Evil Plan — GeekTyrant
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will introduce Marvel's First Family into the MCU's main timeline. It also brings in the cosmic heavyweight Galactus to the party! But the big question on everyone's mind is, why this version of Earth? Why now? Well, a new teaser just revealed the reason, and it confirms a rumor that has been making the round. it turns out Galactus set his sights on Earth not because it's ripe for destruction, but because of Reed Richards and Sue Storm's child, Franklin Richards. In the teaser, the team brought before Galactus by the Silver Surfer. It goes on to reveal the villain's massive frame, but he's hidden in shadow for most of this scene before he arrives on Earth and fully steps out of the shadows. The footage also shows Reed Richards telling the press that in exchange for the Earth, Galactus asked for their son Franklin. Mr. Fantastic told them that is too high a price, something the planet's citizens understandably feel differently about. If you're unfamiliar with Franklin Richards, he's absurdly powerful. He was Introduced in Fantastic Four Annual #6 in 1968, and is a reality-warping, universe-spawning, omega-level mutant who, at full potential, could rival cosmic beings like Eternity. Galactus onbviously sees Franklin as a potential never-ending food source. Franklin's ability to create pocket universes and new worlds essentially makes him Galactus' version of a personal chef. And Galactus is hungry. Before Galactus was Galactus, he was Galan, a survivor of the universe that existed before the current one. After merging with the Sentience of the Universe, he reemerged post-Big Bang as a being of insatiable hunger, one who requires the energy of entire planets to survive. In the comics, he's not evil, he's elemental and necessary, Aand when he sends his heralds like Silver Surfer or Shalla-Bal to scout planets, it's not personal. It's survival. The MCU's Fantastic Four is shaping up to be a story about parenthood, power, and survival on a galactic scale. It'll be interesting to see how Galactus' story arc ends up playing out and if he actually ends wiping out this 1960s-inspired Earth, causing the Fantastic Four to jump realities into Earth-616 setting up Avengers: Doomsday in 2026. The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters July 25, 2025.

Doctor Doom's Rumored Sinister Interest in Franklin Richards Might Shape the Future of The MCU — GeekTyrant
There's a new rumor floating through the Marvel multiverse that could reframe how The Fantastic Four: First Steps connects to Avengers: Doomsday , andit involves Doctor Doom, Franklin Richards, and some very ominous plans. According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, 'Doom will take Franklin Richards and will use him for his plans.' That's a major claim, and if it holds water, it not only positions Doom as a central threat but also ties Marvel's First Family directly to the multiversal chaos unfolding in the Avengers films. Now, let's talk about Franklin Richards. This isn't just some sidekick-level character. On the page, Franklin is the son of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, and he's considered one of the most powerful beings in the entire Marvel Universe. We're talking cosmic-level, possibly omniversal-level. Franklin has reality-warping powers so vast, and in the comics Roma, the guardian of all realities, once said he was equal to the Celestials. He can astral project without range limits, manipulate time, and create life from nothing. He's formed entire planets, resurrected the dead, and even created a pocket universe. Oh, and he can also throw The Thing across a room with a single thought using his bio-blast telekinesis. If Doctor Doom sets his sights on that kind of power, it makes sense why the Fantastic Four would pursue him, or maybe send Franklin away to Earth-616 to protect him, inadvertently luring Doom there in the process. The upcoming First Steps post-credits scene reportedly hints at this connection. We still don't know if Robert Downey Jr.'s Victor Von Doom is from the same universe as the new Fantastic Four. If he is, that sets the stage for an emotionally and dramatically tangled relationship. If he isn't, it might mean Doom is chasing Franklin across realities, which makes the threat even more intense. Franklin isn't just another super-powered kid. He's a walking, talking reset button for reality. That makes him both a target and a weapon, and if Doom gets control of him, Avengers: Doomsday might live up to its title in ways the multiverse isn't ready for. Whether this is Marvel's plan or just well-informed speculation, it's exactly the kind of connective tissue that could make the next chapter of the MCU feel less like a reboot and more like an epic culmination. Either way, it seems Franklin Richards could be the key to everything.

Marvel Rumor Reveals Doctor Doom's Master Plan in Avengers: Doomsday
A new leak hints at Doctor Doom's strategy in Avengers: Doomsday, suggesting a pivotal link between the events of The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the next Avengers film. The report teases Doom's interest in Franklin Richards and alludes to a larger plan unfolding across multiple realities. It offers early clues about how the Fantastic Four's arrival may shape the MCU's multiverse storyline. According to a scoop posted by industry insider @MyTimeToShineH on X (formerly Twitter), 'Doom will take Franklin Richards and will use him for his plans,' referencing events expected to unfold across The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the upcoming Avengers film. This alleged development may come from the post-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Doom reportedly appears sitting near Franklin Richards as Sue Storm walks into the room. This scene could serve as a setup for the next Avengers film and explain why the Fantastic Four leave Earth-828 for Earth-616. Another theory suggests Doom may use Franklin's cosmic powers instead of stealing from the Beyonders. This resembles the 2015 Secret Wars comic, where Doom gains immense power until Franklin reclaims it and rebuilds the multiverse. There is also speculation that Franklin will trigger a soft reboot of the MCU after Secret Wars. The story may show Doom using Franklin's powers to reshape reality for his own vision of order. In a recent Instagram post from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, Robert Downey Jr. shared his character prep materials. Among them was Doom #1 by Jonathan Hickman. In the comic, Doom absorbs Celestial powers to fight a rampaging Galactus. This may hint at similar high-stakes action in the upcoming films. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. Originally reported by Anubhav Chaudhry on SuperHeroHype.
