Langley police investigating after woman suffers 'severe burns' in targeted assault
Police are investigating after a woman was left with severe burn injuries in what's being called a targeted assault. Langley RCMP were called Saturday around 6:35 p.m. to the 20300-block Fraser Highway for a woman who was in distress. At the scene, police found a 33-year-old woman who was suffering from severe burns. She was taken to hospital and is expected to survive. 'This does not appear to be a random act. 'We're urging anyone who may have information about this incident to contact our investigators.' Anyone who was in the area or who may have dashboard camera footage of the area around the time of the attack is asked to contact investigators.
