Towie cast feud revealed as star lets slip bitter show divide that will rock new series
A STAR of The Only Way Is Essex has opened up about the new series and a huge rift - and it's set to be a scorcher. Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Ella Rae Wise revealed that there's plenty of beef incoming ahead of the latest instalment of the ITV2 show. 5 5 Speaking on podcast Not My Bagg alongside pal Freddie Bentley, they told host Joe Baggs that tensions were high following Ella's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. Baggs asked: "What was it like amongst the cast, because obviously you're seen as more of a stand out then? "Did anyone have a problem, because all the cast get jealous of things...?" Freddie answered: "You'll see a lot of it unfold." Ella confirmed: "You'll see." Freddie admitted: "Normally we wouldn't be allowed to mention Big Brother and other shows but they let us do it." Ella, 25, agreed: "It was so weird. I was going, 'When I was in my experience' and they were like, 'Ella, you can say when you was in the Big Brother house." Speaking about the dramas set to erupt, she said: "I'm really excited. Normally, I'm not really that excited." And it's not just fans who avidly watch the show. Ella said: "We put it on in the morning, don't we, so we can see what's going to unfold so we know what to expect from the viewers. The blonde bombshell has recently spoken out against her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar, accusing him of not "treating her with much respect." The former Towie couple called it quits 18 months after getting together, just days before her stint on Celebrity Big Brother in April. Now, Ella has spoken out about her experience with Dan, especially in the aftermath of their break-up and promised fans would get to see why they ended things on the upcoming season of Towie. The reality TV star was also quizzed about whispers that Dan already has a new girlfriend, but she refused to partake in gossip. Last month, Dan, 35, caused a stir on a Jet2 flight from London Stansted to Faro in Portugal after making a bold move on a woman mid-journey as Ella watched on. CBB ex Ella was accused of shooting 'death stares' to Dan during the entire conversation as Love Island: All Stars couple Sammy Root and watched on. Dan's potential new romance comes as the Towie cast jetted off to Portugal to kick off filming for the long-running ITV reality series' 15th anniversary. The ITV2 show has splashed out on a cast getaway to celebrate the milestone occasion. Towie feud erupts as stars have explosive row in Portugal after months of tension
TOWIE'S Ella Rae Wise and Freddie Bentley clash with co-star Harry Derbidge in explosive scenes in Portugal after months of tension. The ITV2 show has splashed out on a cast getaway to Portugal to celebrate the show's 15th anniversary. 5 5 5 During the away trip, Freddie and Harry come face-to-face after their brief romance fizzled out last series. Their co-star and CBB beauty Ella is caught in the middle and forced to take sides when things become heated. A source said: 'Freddie and Ella have a major fallout with Harry in Portugal. "There has been a lot of tension between Harry and Freddie ever since their romance didn't work out and the way it ended didn't sit well with Harry. "Freddie and Ella try to put the stuff with Harry behind them in Portugal and Harry also wants to move on from everything that's been going on and feels Portugal is the place to do that. "They are all just trying to find a way to move forwards and reach an amicable place and don't want their differences to affect the rest of the group. "But things come to a head and there is a big confrontation with some incredible scenes. "Harry and Freddie are not on speaking terms but the cast are hopeful that things can be resolved for good." The Sun has reached out to ITV for comment. Last series, Harry was at the centre of the drama after his ex-boyfriend Joe Blackman got together with his former best friend Junaid Ahmed. And it was claimed the new romance overlapped Joe's relationship with Harry. Shock Towie scenes saw Dani Imbert drop the bombshell during a chat with Saffron Lempriere. She said: 'Joe was going round to Junaid's and they were sleeping together from the beginning. 'Before things had actually been called off with Harry. Dani confessed she felt conflicted due to her shaky friendship with Junaid and the fact she's gotten close to Harry recently. She said: 'I shouldn't be lying to Harry's face - he should know the truth. 'But then I can't help but constantly have that guilty conscience because I'd be half f****** Junaid over.' The cast flew out to film scenes in June and stayed at the five-star resort in the Algarve for a two-week trip. The Westin Algarve was chosen as the cast's base. The resort, that just opened with its five-star facilities, beachfront setting and high-end suites, is expected to serve as the glamorous backdrop for much of the upcoming drama. From luxury daybeds and DJ sets to sunset views and private lounges, every setting is being handpicked to deliver high-energy content and unforgettable scenes. The team behind the show sees Portugal as the ideal location – glamorous, sunny and accessible with only a short 2.5 hour flight from the UK. BIG MOVE With ITVBe now closing, the programme is returning to its original home on ITV2 from Autumn 2025. Ahead of the move, TOWIE will be reverting to airing twice a week. It will see a new midweek episode joining the usual Sunday instalment. This was the show's original screening pattern but it reverted to one episode per week back in 2018. A source said: 'ITV want to make a big splash with the show returning to its original home on ITV2 with the closure of ITVBe. "It's one of their flagship shows and it's still one of ITVX's most streamed shows with 66 million streams in the last 12 months alone. "Bosses think it's high time the show was reinstated to airing twice a week, just like it did in its original heyday. "It's amazing news for fans who will be getting double their fix of drama, and the cast are thrilled too. "It's a huge vote of confidence in the show after all these years on air.' 5

Towie feud explodes as former best mates fall out and have tense row in Portugal
THE Only Way is Essex best pals Freddie Bentley and Ella Rae Wise had a dramatic falling out while filming in Portugal. The explosive row led the pair to unfollow each other on Instagram - leading friends to fear their friendship was over for good. 3 3 Freddie and Ella weren't on speaking terms before finally calling a truce over the sorry affair. They have kept quiet about the reason behind the mysterious fallout, but the scenes are set to play out on screen. Insiders say it was tense situation, but getting their issues all out on the table really helped and they have made up. A source said: 'Ella and Freddie are normally thick as thieves so everyone was really shocked to learn that they had had a bust up. "The exact reason behind their fallout was something of a mystery but at one point, they weren't communicating with each other at all. "Luckily, they managed to clear the air with the cameras rolling and their relationship is back on track. "Bosses were happy it all unfolded on camera, as it will make for loads of drama when the show returns.' Fans were delighted when they spotted Freddie and Ella had refollowed each other on Instagram and started leaving comments under their snaps. They were then pictured enjoying a seafood dinner along with their fellow Towie pal, Dani Imbert. The Sun has contacted a rep for Towie as well as Ella and Freddie for comment.
