Elon Musk's X platform investigated in France for alleged data tampering and fraud

PARIS — French prosecutors have launched a police investigation into alleged data tampering and fraud involving X, Elon Musk's social media platform. The Paris prosecutor's office, in a statement Friday, announced the opening of the investigation, and said that a branch of the French gendarmerie is conducting the inquiry. Brit ‘Disneyland groom' arrested for trying to ‘marry' girl, 9, at theme park ‘is a known paedophile on the run from UK'

A BRIT "Disneyland groom" who was arrested for allegedly trying to marry a nine-year-old girl at the theme park is said to be a known predatory paedophile who is on the run from UK justice, according to French prosecutors. The 39-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was on Tuesday charged with various imprisonable offences. 1 Park staff were shocked to see him with a Ukrainian child, along with her family and around 100 guests, on Saturday as they turned up for a "pretend wedding ceremony". Now, prosecutors in Meaux, east of Paris, have confirmed the man was known in Britain "for sexual offences against minors". A statement reads: "He is registered on the British sex offenders register and is currently wanted at the national level by the judicial authorities of his country of origin, for failing to comply with the obligations arising from said registration." The man is described as the "mastermind" of the wedding stunt, and has been charged with "fraud," "breach of trust," "money laundering" and "identity theft". is your go-to destination for the best celebrity news, real-life stories, jaw-dropping pictures and must-see video.
