Sask. woman arrested after crashing with RCMP cruiser, fleeing in Lloydminster
A Saskatchewan woman was arrested after crashing into a RCMP cruiser in Lloydminster on July 4, 2025. (Supplied) A Saskatchewan woman was arrested following a crash with an RCMP cruiser in Lloydminster last week. Police say they were conducting routine patrol duties when a car crossed the center line and crashed into the cruiser at the intersection of 50 Avenue and 48 Street. After the crash, police say the woman fled the scene on foot. Officers located and arrested the woman after speaking with witnesses at the scene, said a statement issued Tuesday. The 36-year-old woman from Frog Lake, Sask., was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, operation of a vehicle while impaired and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. She was released on conditions and is to appear in court later this month. RCMP say the officer in the cruiser sustained minor injuries, was assessed at the hospital and was then released.

Teen girl hospitalized after being pinned by vehicle in Frog Lake hit-and-run

St. Paul RCMP were called to a local 7-Eleven at around 3 a.m. Saturday where they found an injured 15-year-old girl laying on the ground in front of the business. • Download our app to get Edmonton alerts on your device Police said the driver drove their vehicle into the store and pinned the girl between the truck and the building. The driver then fled the scene. According to police, the girl was taken to the University of Alberta hospital with serious injuries. They say the two knew each other. Teen girl hospitalized in hit-and-run outside rural Alberta convenience store
A 15-year-old girl is in hospital after being hit and pinned to a wall by the driver of a truck in St. Paul, Alta., on Saturday. St. Paul RCMP said in a media release Tuesday officers answered the call of the 3 a.m. incident at the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 5001 52 Street. Police said they found the injured girl on the ground in front of the 7-Eleven, and that she and the driver of the truck are 'known to each other.' The driver fled the scene after hitting the girl, police said. Paramedics took her to the University of Alberta hospital with serious injuries, police said. RCMP said officers took statements from several witnesses. Police arrested an 18-year-old man from Frog Lake, Alta., and charged him with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, failure to stop after an accident and mischief over $5,000 - damage to property. St. Paul, population 6,000, is located 152 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
