About Jimmy Rees Beginning his career as Jimmy Giggle on the award-winning ABC Kid's TV series Giggle & Hoot, he spent a decade as the face of the iconic kids TV series, airing seven days a week on the national broadcaster. During this time he toured with Giggle & Hoot, playing to more than 500,000 people live and releasing several albums including an iTunes #1 Christmas album featuring duets with Tina Arena, FiFi Box, Justine Clarke, David Campbell, Deb Mailman and others. After a decade at the ABC TV it was time to hang up his pyjamas and farewell his puppet pal Hoot. He first-step out of children's television came when he joined the cast of Dancing With The Stars as his first primetime foray (raising money and awareness for one of his favourite charities Very Special Kids). An instant fan favourite and dubbed 'Jimmy Sizzle' by the judges, Jimmy Giggle was now in the rear vision mirror. It was during the pandemic however, that Jimmy really solidified his reinvention – his comedy content connecting with millions, his videos attaining up to 40 million views each on Facebook alone. He now has four million social media followers. Jimmy's video views on Facebook clocked up 180 million viewing minutes in 2021 and tens of millions more across his TikTok, Instagram and Youtube Channels and they have just continued to grow and grow ever since. Thanks to his on-point social observations and sharp satire, Jimmy became a bonafide viral sensation, with his Meanwhile In Australia series, the Brighton Ladies, the Guy Who Decides and Byron Baes resonating with people here and around the globe. These now iconic characters have firmly cemented themselves into the social media landscape. In 2022 Jimmy embarked on his first national comedy tour as himself. Originally just five shows, the tour became 35 sold-out shows in largescale venues around the country, making it one of the most successful comedy tours of the year. The show aired on Foxtel as a Binge Original Production premiering the the same day his book the Guy Who Decides was released. The special became the #1 Comedy special of the year on Binge and the book hit the #1 spot in the comedy publishing category and followed on from his best-selling series of children's books. In 2023 Jimmy joined Tom Gleeson, Julia Morris and some of the countries favourite comedians for the inaugural season of the now hit series Task Master on Channel 10, and appeared in the Stan Christmas Movie, A Jones Family Christmas. He then backed up his enormous debut tour with an even bigger tour in late 2023 followed by a run of regional dates in 2024, including sold-out charity shows in Lismore, with 100% of the proceeds going into the Lismore flood recovery funds. In 2024 Jimmy was awarded an Order of Australia medal for his services to comedy and his charity work…. Jimmy Rees OAM! Jimmy is part of the movement reshaping the media landscape, recently launching his own on-line content series Jimmy's Frame of Mind his guests including Chelsea Handler, Tom Gleeson, Julia Morris, Tony Armstrong, Jojo Siwa, Charlie Pickering, Kate Langbroek and many others. A 15-year career in the entertainment industry with his sole mission of making people feel good, has cemented his status as one of our most beloved and versatile stars and his unique trajectory means his audience is truly cross generational – spanning three year olds to 103-year-olds. With his affable charm and quick wit, it is hardly surprising that Jimmy is a mainstay in the Australian entertainment industry…. Viral Aussie entertainer announces national tour
Lovable Australian entertainer Jimmy Rees has announced that he will be bringing his unique blend of humour and storytelling to audiences in a national theatre tour. Performing a nine-stop tour of Australia and New Zealand, Rees' In Reel Life tour will kick off in October and land at Perth's Riverside Theatre on November 22. Jimmy Rees is hitting theatres later this year. Credit: Frontier Touring 'I'm psyched to be touring my brand-new live show IN REEL LIFE around Australia and also heading to New Zealand for the very first time!' Rees said in a statement. Becoming a friend to younger audiences for a decade as Jimmy Giggle on popular kids show Giggle & Hoot, the affable entertainer's moniker was upgraded to the more parent friendly 'Jimmy Sizzle' after appearing on Dancing With The Stars in 2019. However, it was arguably the COVID pandemic that propelled Rees' star even higher, crafting viral videos for home-bound Aussies to laugh their way through isolation. As a result, the entertainer has amassed four million social media followers, with his skits and parodies on modern living striking a chord with viewers. Rees' upcoming national tour will be his third in four years, following his successful 2022 breakthrough stand-up campaign and 2023-24 follow-up. As a symbol of his contribution to the country's media landscape, the star was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2024. Tickets to Jimmy Rees' In Reel Life tour go on sale June 30.

Fans furious over detail in Addison Rae's Aussie tour
Addison Rae fans have been left in outrage after the US pop star's tour was announced Down Under this week. Sixty thousand wannabe concertgoers have scrambled to get tickets to her shows, but have faced long wait times for the limited numbers of gigs which are being held in small venues. Instead of booking large arenas, Rae will be performing in venues like the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, which has a capacity of 1600. In Melbourne, the 24-year-old Diet Pepi hitmaker is set to play at the Forum, which is limited to 2000. ''60k+ in the queue for a 2k-capacity venue is EVIL,' posted one fan on the Frontier Touring Instagram on Thursday, after the promoter announced they were adding more shows to Rae's schedule to meet the demand. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Sixty thousand wannabe concertgoers have scrambled to get tickets to her shows, but have faced long wait times for the limited numbers of gigs which are being held in small venues 'I'm not sure what genius decided The Forum was the best venue,' commented another fan on the thread, adding, 'Probably could fill Rod Laver Arena more than once. Easy.' 'I'm begging you [the promoter] to upgrade [the] Sydney [show] to the Hordern,' complained another, referring to the Hordern Pavilion which can hold 5,500 fans. Meanwhile, Rae's fans wondered why the performer was playing at 18+ venues such as the Forum and Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall, which holds 3,300 people. 'Melbourne all ages come on,' moaned one, while another added, 'Please no 18+ [shows].' Rae was originally scheduled to play a mere three gigs in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. The TikTok star-turned-tunesmith will now do six Australian shows - Melbourne's The Forum on November 11 and 12, the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane on November 14 and 15 and Sydney's Enmore Theatre on November 17 and 18. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Rae shared a string of dates that will see her kick off the tour in Dublin before heading across Europe and the US. 'I can't believe I get to sing and dance for you (and with you) this autumn. Are you coming?' The announcement sent Australian fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their excitement over on promoter Frontier Touring's Instagram. 'A good way to start the day isn't it?' one quipped, while another offered a similar: 'Best news.' General on sale begins at 10am on Friday, June 20. The announcement comes hot on the heels of Addison's self-titled debut album, which dropped earlier this month. Thanks to such viral hits as Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, and Headphones On, the album has nabbed a number four slot on the Billboard 200, and a number two spot on the Australian ARIA charts.

The Band CAMINO Announce Live Return To Australia & New Zealand: The NeverAlways Tour
The Band CAMINO is back and bigger than ever. MG Live and Frontier Touring are excited to announce the Nashville-based trio will make their highly anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand this summer, with the NeverAlways world tour: including five headline dates in February 2026 in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle. Two years on from their first sold-out tour down under, today's news sees the band – Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess – also officially announcing their forthcoming third studio album, NeverAlways, arriving July 25th via Atlantic Records (pre-order here). The 11-track collection is previewed today by new tracks and videos: 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222)'. ' Both 'Stupid Questions' and 'Hates Me Yet (222)' came from a similar headspace – that spiral you slip into when you care a little too much and think a little too hard,' explains Jeffery Jordan. ' We wanted these songs and their visuals to capture the way overthinking can feel both ridiculous and heavy at the same time… two sides to the same door, except one's a smirk and the other's a blow to the chest.' The band's NeverAlways headline tour kicks off in Atlanta, GA this October, starting with a 28-date North American run ahead of European dates in December, the Australian leg continuing through February 2026. For full routing and ticket information, please visit Tickets for the AU/NZ shows go on sale Friday 27 June (10am local time) via Frontier members can access early presale tickets via the promoter presale, starting Wednesday 25 June (10am local time). The NeverAlways era kicked off last month with 'Infinity', co-written with longtime collaborators Seth Ennis and Schmidt (capturing the classic CAMINO sound first heard on hit singles 'Daphne Blue' and 'See Through') and 'Baggy Jeans,' co-written with Captain Cuts. The forthcoming album also features collaborators Jonah Shy (Role Model, Shawn Mendes) & Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams). ' All at once, the music is the juxtaposition of who we've been, where we're going, and where we're headed,' Jordan continues. ' We wouldn't have made this record five years ago. It's a perfect snapshot of what we're listening to, how our tastes have matured, and how we've evolved. We're continuing to take people on a journey.' The Band CAMINO has amassed nearly 1 billion career streams, sold out global headline tours, and received critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard and more. Since forming in 2015, they've unleashed a series of fan favourite projects including the My Thoughts On You EP (2016), Heaven EP (2017), tryhard EP (2019), self-titled debut LP The BAND CAMINO (2021), and sophomore LP The Dark (2023). They have delivered showstopping performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live, in addition to major festival sets at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and more. Now entering their tenth year, the trio has crafted their most substantial body of work yet alongside exhilarating live shows slated through 2026.
