Ceremony held in remembrance of Katrina in New Orleans
NEW OLREANS (WGNO) — A wreath laying ceremony was held in New Orleans Monday, July 7, in remembrance of Hurricane Katrina.
The ceremony was held along the riverfront. New Orleans city council members were in attendance as well as members of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.

The church's founder, Bishop Paul Morton, is hoping that memories of the storm and the people it affected will not fade with time.
'It's really about a day to remember, that we appreciate that they were a part of this city, that they worked in this city, that they supported this city, so that they are not forgotten,' Morton said.
