Palm Angels: New US owner, Italian management team

Palm Angels has a new management team, a fresh start that the label celebrated by staging a lively event in Milan on Sunday evening, with Milan Fashion Week Men in full swing. It was the opportunity for the Italian high-end streetwear label's new senior executive team to introduce themselves: Managing Director Luca Donnini, a fashion industry veteran, and Creative Director Alberto Furlan, who worked for eight years with Palm Angels founder Francesco Ragazzi. The latter retired earlier this year to focus on a new project, while the label he founded in 2015, owned by New Guards Group (NGG), itself controlled by fashion e-tailer Farfetch, was sold to Bluestar Alliance, a New York-based brand management company that also acquired Off-White. Bluestar Alliance is keen to play the continuity card, both in terms of style and personnel, while making Palm Angels evolve and grow. The new owner retained part of the workforce, which was added to and installed in new premises and showroom in via Verri, in Milan's Brera district. Donnini has a 40-year track record in luxury and fashion. He notably worked for 20 years at Italian group Max Mara, holding senior positions in the export, wholesale and retail departments, before joining Guess as head of the US label's European subsidiary, a post he held between 2009 and 2012. Among his other career milestones, in 2019 he took charge of British luxury brand Temperley London. Donnini has joined Palm Angels in his capacity as co-CEO of SportLux, an international company managing the operations of several licensed brands (including Off-White), with which Bluestar Alliance has signed an agreement for Palm Angels's production and worldwide distribution. Donnini's mission is to boost the retail expansion of Palm Angels, which currently operates 10 monobrand stores, via new openings planned in the coming months in Dubai, Mumbai, Athens and New York. Also, to explore new markets like South America, and to extend Palm Angels' presence in online and omnichannel distribution. Furlan, 33, is very familiar with Palm Angels. He has been at the label since 2017, working alongside Ragazzi, as he previously did at Moncler, and becoming his right-hand man. He immediately set about redesigning the label's logo, a stylised palm tree whose trunk is composed of the letters of its name. 'When we started, there were five of us. Now we're 35. Some preferred to leave after the acquisition, new team members have been hired, but everyone from the design, product development and marketing offices stayed on. For me, it's very important to preserve the label's DNA,' Furlan told Palm Angels's looks are inspired by streetwear and the world of Californian skaters, with the addition of Italian couture details. The label has elevated its positioning in recent years, towards the market's upper end. 'Palm Angels will remain a luxury label. We will continue to work with our Italian, Turkish, and Portuguese suppliers, and others chiefly based in Europe. But we're going to bring our prices down a little, because the market is asking for this,' said Furlan. The collections, so far big on logos and geometric motifs, will be gradually characterised by greater sophistication and simplicity, adopting a more minimalist design style while preserving Palm Angels' identity, wearability and fine materials, concluded Furlan.

Tommy Lee's Wife Brittany Furlan Advised To Stick With A.I. To Spice Up The Bedroom

There is a third party in Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan's bedroom, and no, it is not a person. The power couple has shared a top secret from their passionate moments, and how it has kept their flame of romance burning very bright. Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan have maintained an open policy about details of their marriage since tying the knot six years ago in 2019, after meeting online two years prior. Furlan and Lee's sexual satisfaction in their marriage has sometimes had his wife turning to ChatGPT for help in navigating their bedroom business. However, with their romance rekindled, sex expert Vanessa Marin suggests that Furlan can continue using A.I. to enhance their relationship, both in and out of the bedroom. Marin noted that many individuals now utilize ChatGPT for improved connection and encouraged couples to embrace these tools to foster intimacy and communication. The sex expert stated the potential benefits of ChatGPT and similar tools, including her own creation, "Vanessa A.I." She believes these tools can assist couples, such as Furlan and the drummer, in various ways to improve their emotional interaction. Per TMZ, Marin identified the immense benefits of A.I. in the bedroom, including initiating difficult conversations, generating engaging discussion topics, and even providing advice for enhancing intimacy for couples. However, Marin warned that the comfort A.I. provides should not replace genuine human interactions. According to her, the complexities of human relationships are irreplaceable, and Marin emphasizes the value of real emotional connections. Dr. Julie Carpenter, an expert in human-computer interaction, also reaffirms Marin's sentiment, cautioning that it is easy for users to get too relaxed with chatbots designed to engage users effectively. She stresses that while these tools can provide social benefits, they are ultimately profit-driven and lack a true understanding of human emotions. The tech guru emphasized that artificial intelligence applications do not fully comprehend unique contexts and the intricacies of human interactions with one another. Carpenter then applauded Furlan's openness about using ChatGPT to solve her intimacy challenges. According to her, an admission from someone like her helps to normalize its use in society. Last year, The Blast noted that Furlan got candid about her husband's hygiene habits during a podcast session with Kaitlyn Bristowe. In a surprising revelation, she disclosed that the famous drummer only showers once a week, a practice he attributes to his upbringing. The actress explained that Lee was raised with the understanding that daily showers are not a pointer to hygiene. "They would just do the white washcloth if they felt like they were getting a little funky. My husband showers, like, once a week," she continued. Despite this unusual routine, Furlan emphasized that the boy band superstar maintains a neat appearance, countering the stereotype of messy musicians. She compared his cleanliness with that of her previous partners, stating that they were not as neat as her meticulously organized home, which "looks like a f-ucking museum." Lee's irregular hygiene has no bearing on how they feel for each other, as the actress emphasizes that the only thing she feels for him is intense attraction. She even finds the drummer "so handsome" and insists he does not give her "ick" like most people who do not consistently shower would. Furlan has pretty much indulged her husband's weird ways. Three years ago, the musician broke the internet by uploading a naked picture on X. The graphic image featured a full-frontal photo of the celebrity. For years before meeting, the couple had been huge fans of each other's work. Lee used to enjoy watching Furlan's Vine videos and even gave her a follow. Furlan also felt the same way about his music. According to her: "I was a Methods of Mayhem fan and Mötley Crüe fan. I wasn't a huge fan — I didn't listen to a bunch of Mötley Crüe, but I definitely liked Methods of Mayhem, and I always thought he was super attractive." Their exchange with each other bore positive fruit as they eventually met and went out on a couple of awesome dates. Lee and Furlan's love is strong and enduring, proving resilient despite their past relationships. Even Pamela Anderson, who once considered rekindling her romance with Lee, has moved on. In May, The Blast reported that sources close to Anderson revealed she has moved on from her past relationship and feels relieved to be distanced from him. Initially, she reportedly had lingering feelings, but now those close to her believe a reunion is unlikely. Anderson is embracing her single life and focusing on herself. Earlier in 2023, she did reach out to Lee, referring to him as her "one true love" before the release of her Netflix documentary. Anderson's yearning to mend their broken ties came from a desire to become better grandparents. After her youngest son's engagement last summer, she reportedly emphasized the importance of "peacefully co-grandparenting" with Lee.

Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan marriage rocked by catfishing scandal

Brittany Furlan is opening up on her marriage struggles with Tommy Lee, dishing on the surprising revelation that she was catfished by someone she met online. Furlan, 38, took to TikTok to reveal she had been conned by someone pretending to be Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke. According to PEOPLE, in a series of posts to his Instagram Stories, Radke claimed that Furlan was catfished by someone pretending to be him and alleged that an angry Lee threatened him once he found out. Furlan addressed the drama in a lengthy social media post of her own. 'As you can see, I'm in a hotel. I've been going through a lot in my marriage, which was none of anyone's business until this man decided to make it everyone's business because he thinks I'm obsessed with him,' Furlan said in her TikTok video, referring to Radke. Furlan admitted to her followers that she fell for someone she believed was Radke, who she said 'started trying to seduce me' over Snapchat. '(He was saying) I was so much hotter than (his) girlfriend and (I was his) dreamgirl,' she said. 'We can have a secret thing as long as you don't snitch.' Furlan questioned 'why would a catfish be worried about (her) snitching?' She also claimed she didn't save any of the messages they exchanged with one another because she 'didn't want to be shady' and she is 'in a vulnerable place.' '(Radke) says this isn't him. That's fine, whatever. I don't give a f—,' said Furlan. 'It's a catfish, cool. I got catfished. Why are you still harassing me?' Furlan then asked. 'Why are you sending me hundreds of messages? Why are you trolling me? I don't give a f—. I unfollowed you. Leave me alone. That's it.' The Internet personality then conceded she had hit a rough patch with Lee, whom she married in 2019. 'Basically, I told my husband everything,' Furlan explained. 'I said, 'You know, I've been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat — he says it's not him, cool, whatever' — 'cause I'm a good person. I mean, I'm not a good person for talking to someone while married. I've been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, whatever.' Despite coming clean to her husband, Furlan said Lee lost his composure and messaged Radke. 'That's how this all started,' she said. Furlan denied 'stalking' Radke. 'The last thing I want to address is him saying I stalked him at a MedSpa, a MedSpa I've been going to for almost a year. I stopped into there one day on the way to my podcast … He walks out. That's the last person I would expect to be there. But I'm stalking you? … He's messaged me four hundred thousand times.' Lee alluded to his wife's drama in a post to his Instagram that read, 'Who's been catfished?' In a message posted to his Instagram, Radke called Furlan 'delusional, delusional woman.' 'Imagine you grow up looking up to somebody like Tommy Lee, and then all of a sudden out of nowhere he goes, 'You're f–ing my wife,'' Radke said. 'And I'm like, 'What? I have no idea what you're talking about.'' But Furlan ended her video by telling Radke to stop talking about her. 'You've blown up my whole life on social media,' Furlan said. 'This is embarrassing for me, embarrassing for my husband. This whole f—–g thing is embarrassing. I've been going through struggling with s— at home. I'm in a f—ing hotel. Like, leave us the f— alone, bro. Like, if you want people to be obsessed with you, like, I don't know, get another f—ing hobby, dude. This is just some serious narcissist s—. I'm done. Anyone can think of it what they will. All good.' According to PEOPLE, Lee and Furlan were having issues before the catfish scandal made headlines. 'They weren't getting along,' a source told the outlet. They haven't been getting along, and she left and went to a hotel. She went of her own volition. She took her s—. They got in a fight, and she (left).' TMZ also reported that the two had separated after Furlan became concerned over Lee's alleged drinking. mdaniell@ Tommy Lee's wife Brittany Furlan says he only showers 'once a week' Tommy Lee's wife Brittany Furlan jokes her 'vagina was normal' before she got married
