Dua Lipa's Biggest Album Brings Her To A Major Milestone
Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia celebrates 260 weeks on the Billboard 200, marking her first album to ... More spend half a decade on the chart as she tours globally. CLEVELAND, OHIO - OCTOBER 19: Due Lipa poses for a portrait at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony streaming on Disney+ at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on October 19, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo byfor The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) Dua Lipa has a few dates left on her Radical Optimism Tour in Europe before she returns to North America for shows in Canada and throughout the United States. Later this year, the pop superstar will venture to South America to wrap up her latest promotional venture before the end of 2025. While she's currently pushing her 2024 full-length Radical Optimism, her previous set Future Nostalgia is enjoying a big week on one of Billboard's rankings in America, and it helps the Grammy winner reach an important milestone. Future Nostalgia Reaches a Milestone on the Billboard 200 Future Nostalgia is the only one of Lipa's albums that appears on the Billboard 200 at the moment. That tally ranks the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the U.S., combining pure purchases and streaming activity to show which collections Americans are listening to. This frame, Future Nostalgia barely manages to hold on as it dips 10 spaces to No. 192. As Future Nostalgia narrowly holds on, it reaches 260 weeks on the Billboard 200. That's exactly half a decade, and it's the first win of its kind for the musician. Future Nostalgia Remains Lipa's Only Triple-Digit-Week Charter Lipa has pushed four projects to the Billboard 200 throughout her years as a powerhouse entertainer. So far, Future Nostalgia is the only one of her albums to manage a triple-digit stay. Her self-titled debut, which arrived in June 2017, is close to reaching that milestone, as it has thus far collected 97 weeks somewhere on the 200-slot tally, although the project doesn't regularly appear, and it's tough to predict if it will ever make it to that landmark figure. Radical Optimism somewhat disappointed, as it only managed 15 weeks on the Billboard 200, although it did bring Lipa to a career high point of No. 2. Meanwhile, Club Future Nostalgia, a remixed version of the original which also credits the Blessed Madonna, debuted and peaked at No. 28 only months after Future Nostalgia arrived, and it held on for just one period. 'Don't Start Now,' 'Physical,' 'Hallucinate' and 'Levitating' Future Nostalgia helped Lipa's profile as a pop singer grow significantly, and it produced some of the biggest hits of the past decade. The full-length was promoted with smashes like 'Don't Start Now,' 'Physical,' 'Hallucinate,' and 'Levitating,' several of which cracked the top 10 on the Hot 100 and certified her as a breakout pop star all around the world.

Dua Lipa at the Aviva review: Confident and often sublime evening of pulsing stomp-pop
Dua Lipa Aviva Stadium, Dublin ★★★★☆ Dua Lipa is seamlessly executing the night's shimmering dance workout when the crowd at the Aviva miss an opportunity. The singer's pandemic hit Levitating belongs to that select group of disco-pop songs blessed with double handclaps, the finest adornment in all of music, and an optimist might have hoped for the magic of an entire stadium clapping in sync. A realist would have known that fans' hands would be occupied, but that their phones would create their own special effect during the occasional moments in the English-Albanian star's set when she slows down. During the portion of the show reserved for a tribute to a local artist, torches are switched on as a reward for her smart choice of Sinéad O'Connor 's Nothing Compares 2 U. The song becomes more of a stage-school product in this context, but she doesn't totally overcook it, and when she blows a kiss to the crowd at the end, satisfied, you think, 'Yes, that worked.' Tonight, the last date in the European leg of her Radical Optimism tour, we've got steam jets, jewelled collars and joy. She kicks off the celebration with Training Season, a typically relentless Lipa song beloved of sadistic exercise-class instructors, and she's soon running on the spot and shoulder-rolling in silver corsetry. READ MORE Later, Physical, off superior second album Future Nostalgia , is preceded by a mock aerobics video, and that's the sort of regimented, disciplined shape of things with Lipa. She excels as a purveyor of super-honed bops that, at their best, lean into robotic elements, huskily voiced confidence and Eighties-infused brashness, while exuding their own likable, propulsive groove. After third song Break My Heart, in which she contemplates the dire consequences of falling in love after a single 'hello', she laps up the Aviva's adoration, then we're straight on to the similarly themed One Kiss, her tropical-house smash with Calvin Harris and the first real banger of the set. Among the evening's standouts is Love Again, another slice of Future Nostalgia, in which Lipa, resigned to the whole love thing by now, exclaims 'goddamn' at the inevitability of it all beneath giant rings of fire while somehow acquiring a faux-fur coat to match her cobalt blue lace dress and stockings. But the best thing about Love Again is the vintage sample that propels it – a muted trumpet line originally recorded in 1932 for the composition My Woman, with a 'vocal refrain' by Al Bowlly, has wended its way through musical history to reach the Aviva in the year 2025. That's objectively delightful, and a reminder of how rich the textures of pop music can be. [ The 10 best Irish albums of 2025 so far Opens in new window ] When Lipa indulges in overt crowd orchestration, she pulls that off, too, and nowhere is this more effective than on Be the One, from her debut – it's like a manual for euphoria. Not everything attains such heady heights and there's a patience-testing segment where she interacts with an emotional front row, but she still does more than enough tonight to make us know we're never more than seconds away from something fun, something cool. She's got this. London-born Lipa's next listed concert is a performance at a festival that she and her family organise in Pristina, Kosovo – from where her Kosovo Albanian parents emigrated to the UK – and then there's the small matter of turning 30 to do before she embarks on her North American tour. [ The Music Quiz: Rufus Wainwright once played himself an episode of which classic TV comedy? Opens in new window ] But, for now, on this sultry night in Dublin, she just has her kaleidoscopic final stretch to complete. It starts with infectious early breakthrough New Rules, in which she reminds herself and us how to swerve a man who doesn't love her back. (In real life, she recently announced her engagement to British actor Callum Turner.) The artist also known as Mermaid Barbie then slips into an all-too-short snippet of Dance the Night from the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig's Barbie film before injecting what's left of her professional energy into 2019 mega-hit Don't Start Now and rumbling Radical Optimism track Houdini. With the confetti cannons working overtime, she extricates herself from the stage, wrapping up what has been an efficient and often sublime two hours of pulsing stomp-pop, and her replenished fans leave so high they might as well be levitating.

Dua Lipa's Albums Return Thanks To Her Tour — But Her Latest Is Missing
Dua Lipa's earlier albums Dua Lipa and Future Nostalgia rise on the U.K. charts thanks to her ... More Radical Optimism Tour — but that namesake release is missing. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 04: Dua Lipa performs onstage during the 66th GRAMMY Awards at Arena on February 04, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor The Recording Academy) Getty Images for The Recording Academy Dua Lipa is currently on tour promoting her most recent album Radical Optimism . The full-length was released in late May 2024, but the promotional period turned out to be surprisingly brief, as the project was easily her least successful in almost every respect. Despite a somewhat lackluster reception, the singer's Radical Optimism Tour appears to be selling well, in large part thanks to Lipa's incredibly strong back catalog. Large crowds are packing in to see her perform the hits they love, while die-hard followers are also interested in the new stuff as well. As the venture touches down in the United Kingdom, where Lipa is one of the biggest stars in music, fans have gravitated back to two of her three studio albums. Curiously, neither of them is the one the trek is named after. Lipa's self-titled debut album was a major breakthrough for her, but it was her sophomore set Future Nostalgia that catapulted her to another level. The pop singer became one of the most successful names in the genre worldwide with the Grammy-winning effort, which produced smashes like "Levitating," "Don't Start Now," and "Physical." In anticipation of her Radical Optimism Tour, listeners in the U.K. have returned to Future Nostalgia , pushing it to No. 80 on the Official Albums Streaming chart. That uptick in plays was significant enough to impact the main ranking, with Future Nostalgia reentering the Official Albums list at No. 90. Dua Lipa's Self-Titled Album Soars Meanwhile, Dua Lipa , her first full-length, hasn't had a need to reappear on either tally — but it has climbed. The set rockets 10 spots to No. 42 on the Official Albums Streaming chart and jumps 17 spaces to No. 59 on the Official Albums roster. Future Nostalgia passed 200 weeks on both charts months ago, while Dua Lipa has now spent well over 400 on the same pair of rankings. Amazingly, Radical Optimism is nowhere to be found on any list in the U.K., even though it's the one she's pushing with her concerts. That could change soon, as her U.K. shows began on June 20, so the full impact of those early dates in the country will impact next week's charts.

How to get last-minute Dua Lipa tickets for Liverpool shows
Buy Dua Lipa tickets Dua Lipa's huge UK stadium tour will wrap up this week with two shows in Liverpool – but it's not too late to grab last-minute tickets. The 29-year-old pop star will perform at Anfield Stadium, the home of Liverpool FC, in support of her latest chart-topping album, Radical Optimism. The gigs follow her recent sold-out shows at London's iconic Wembley Stadium, where she wowed fans with a hit-filled setlist. Charli XCX and Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay both made surprise appearances. The Independent praised her "electrifying" performance in a five-star review, while The Standard called it "a victory lap for the megalithic pop star". Worried about missing out? With a limited number of tickets still left, here's all you need to know about this week's Liverpool gigs. Lipa will bring her globe-trotting Radical Optimism tour to Liverpool's Anfield Stadium on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 June. The few remaining tickets can be bought on Ticketmaster now, with prices starting at £47.30 (minus fees) for seated tickets. Stage times have yet to be confirmed, but doors will open at 5pm and Lipa is likely to finish by 10.30pm. Her support acts will be British singer Alessi Rose and former Disney star Dove Cameron. The hotly awaited dates will be her first shows in Liverpool since 2022, when she was touring her disco-inspired second album Future Nostalgia. The tour coincides with the 10th anniversary of her debut single, New Love, being released. The setlist for Lipa's Wembley shows was dominated by material from Radical Optimism, which was released last year. She played 10 of its 11 songs, including hit singles Houdini, Training Season and Illusion, as she turned the stadium into her own dancefloor. The British-Albanian star performed older hits, such as break-up banger New Rules and her Calvin Harris collaboration One Kiss, both of which topped the UK charts. She also sang disco anthem Dance the Night, her most recent number-one single. It earned an Oscar nomination after being included on 2023's Barbie film soundtrack – with Margot Robbie's character dancing to the track in a memorable scene. It's unclear whether the Liverpool shows will have special guests, as the Wembley gigs did. Lipa performed Jamiroquai's 1996 single Virtual Insanity with Jay Kay on the first night, and teamed up with Charli XCX to sing her hit 360 on the second night. See the full setlist below: Training Season End of an Era Break My Heart One Kiss Whatcha Doing Levitating These Walls Hotter than Hell (Wembley night 1) / IDGAF (Wembley night 2) Virtual Insanity feat. Jay Kay (Wembley night 1) / 360 feat. Charli XCX (Wembley night 2) Maria Physical Electricity Hallucinate Illusion Falling Forever Happy for You Love Again Anything for Love Be the One New Rules Dance the Night Don't Start Now Houdini Lipa appeared slightly emotional as she told fans that she was "blown away" to be performing at the national stadium. The London-born singer said: "This is so surreal and so crazy. It means the absolute world to me that you are here tonight. It feels really, really special to be here tonight. "It is 10 years since our first ever London show to about 350 people and I just dreamt of a night like this where I get to be in front of 70,000 people." She took selfies and chatted with fans in the front row, and went through multiple costume changes – at one point appearing in a huge fluffy blue coat lined with the Union Flag. The crowd was also treated to a flurry of confetti cannons and fireworks. Lipa's fiancé, actor Callum Turner, was spotted attending the gig with her family. The singer recently confirmed their engagement, telling British Vogue: "It's very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling.' Dua Lipa will perform in Liverpool on 24 and 25 June
