Nothing was disclosed that the Phone 3 will include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera on the rear in an X post. A photograph of the new telephoto sensor is included in the post. It also partially displays the rear camera design, which has strong lines and visible screws. According to reports, the new sensor has a 3x optical zoom. According to earlier leaks, the Phone 3 may have a triple back camera setup.
A 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter are reportedly part of the camera configuration in addition to the new periscope telephoto sensor. This would be a significant improvement compared to the Phone 2's dual-camera configuration.
