There's a six-race card lined up at Bangor-on-Dee course

Small fields are the order of the day and the going at present is good, good to firm places following extensive watering for the six-race all hurdle card. The action on the track begins at 5.56pm with a three mile conditional jockeys handicap hurdle. The locally-trained Lune De La Mer from Ollie Greenall and Josh Guerreiro's Malpas yard has low mileage and has been holding his form well in this sphere running on well over fences here last time out. The eight year old is back over hurdles today and has solid claims in this contest. Happy Index is in good form and looks to have more up her sleeve and should also be involved in proceedings. Only four line up at 6.30pm for the mares maiden hurdle and Herja looks likely to be sent off a warm order favourite after a sound performance here last time out. The main opposition looks likely to come from the Jenny Candlish-trained newcomer Dothejive. The Greenall and Guerriero-trained Barranco has tasted success both here and at Worcester this season and will be hoping to score once again at 7.05pm. The eight year old was third last time out after being headed in the closing stages and must again be considered to strike. Sharp Glance was beaten at odds on at Hexham last month and will be hoping to make amends while Lady Buttercup and Gullaume are also worthy of a second look. Lipa K is becoming a regular runner at Bangor and today is no exception. The seven year old tasted success here once again in June and will be strongly fancied to add to that tally tonight at 7.40pm. Those looking for more value in betting terms might take a chance on the Donald McCain-trained Presentandcounting who should be in the mix. Six runners and riders head to post over two and a half miles at 8.15pm. Miss Tabitha is a consistent sort who is likely to be involved but hasn't entered the winners circle in first place for over a year and others could be preferred. G'day Aussie stayed on strongly at Worcester inside the distance last time out to collect and a repeat performance would see him go close. Grey Skies and Land Girl's Luck are others to note judging by previous form. The finale is off at 8.50pm and Donald Jump didn't disgrace himself here last time out and another creditable run looks to be on the cards. Garde My Guinness ran well at Southwell on her only start to date and looks likely to be the main danger.
