All-Ireland hurling final ticket allocation and prices

The All-Ireland hurling final is one of the most treasured days in Irish sport, even more so for the 82,300 that are fortunate enough to be watching in Croke Park. This year Cork are bidding to end a 20-year wait for the Liam MacCarthy Cup - a famine in Rebel county terms. Cork sit second in the all-time roll of honour, having won the All-Ireland 30 times - second only to Kilkenny. Tipperary come next on 28 titles, and they have tasted success twice in the last decade, in 2016 and 2019. The Rebels are hot favourites this year and are riding on the crest of a wave as the Cork public are very much on board. Their semi-final rout of Dublin was also a sellout and tickets for the Croke Park decider on July 20 are as rare as hens' teeth. The 2024 GAA Annual Report details the ticket breakdown for All-Ireland finals, with all branches of the association served. It's likely to be along identical lines for 2025. The county allocations are a whopping 59,212, allowing for competing counties and tickets for every club in the GAA. There are 10,528 tickets for Premium & Corporate levels and 2,594 season Tickets. Term or 10 year tickets amount to some 2,358 while schools are given 1,250 and sponsors 820. GAA staff and sub committees are assigned with 800 tickets while the association's powerful Ard Chomhairle and GAA Presidents are given 480 seats. Overseas tickets account for 380 while the provinces are given 258. Press are given 240 seats while the third level education institutions are given 228. The National Referee Panel are given 212 and the Rounders/Handball associations 200. Croke Park residents are given 212 while the half-time mini games players and family take up 188 seats. The all-important matchday teams get 148, roughly two per player. The camogie association are given 140 tickets and ladies football 100. TV & Radio companies get 74 while the jubilee team being honoured on final day get 70. Sport Ireland are given 60 tickets for final day. The prices are often a bone of contention but such is the desperation to be there, fans would pay well over the face value to get a ticket for final day Tickets this year are priced at €100 for stand seats and €55 for terrace places. That compares to €70 and €35 20 years ago when Cork last triumphed and it compares very favourably to other major sporting events. FA Cup final tickets are set from £50 - £285. Official ticket prices for the 2025 Champions League Final 2025 were revealed by UEFA incategories. Category 4, or "Fans First" category cost €90 ($102) - reserved for fans of the teams. Category one tickets are priced at €950 ($1,080). The United Rugby Championship final between Leinster and the Bulls this year at Croke Park was cheap in comparison, but was not going to sell out at any stage and attracted a crowd of 46k in the end. Terrace tickets for the Croke Park game were just €22.95. Prices ranged from €55.35 for the lower corners, and €76.60 for the Lower Cusack Stand/Hogan Stand. Juveniles could gain entry for as little as €12.
