What is Gachiakuta about?
Adapted from the manga by Kei Urana and graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou, Gachiakuta is directed by Fumihiko Suganuma at Studio Bones, with Hiroshi Seko overseeing the series composition. The story unfolds in a floating city where the privileged discard both waste and people. After being wrongly accused of murder, Rudo is cast into the Pit, a nightmarish world filled with mutated garbage beasts. To survive, he gains a mysterious power and teams up with the Cleaners, determined to fight not just monsters but also the corrupt forces that doomed him.
