5.2-magnitude quake hits Iceland
BEIJING, July 28, (Xinhua): An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Iceland at 2340 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 64.56 degrees north latitude and 17.69 degrees west longitude.

2 earthquakes with magnitude over 5 hit Iran
CAIRO: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted northern and central Iran at around 12.30am (2137 GMT) on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, reported Xinhua. The epicentre, with a depth of 10km, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 36.72 degrees north and longitude of 55.10 degrees east, it said. Also at around 12.30am (2137 GMT), an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 31km east of the village of Qarnabad, northeastern Iran, it said. The epicentre, with a depth of 10km, was initially determined to be at a latitude of 36.84 degrees north and longitude of 54.94 degrees east, it added.
