GMR Airports Q1 net loss widens to Rs 212 crore
GMR Airport's consolidated net loss widened to Rs 211.59 crore in Q1 FY26, compared with Rs 141.65 crore reported in Q1 FY25. Revenue from operations jumped 33.43% year on year (YoY) to Rs 3,205.23 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2025. The company reported a loss before exceptional items and tax of Rs 111.06 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to a loss before exceptional items and tax of Rs 299.73 crore in the same period a year ago. Exceptional items for the quarter stood at Rs 46.02 crore. EBITDA stood at Rs 1,280 crore in Q1 FY26, registering a growth of 25.98% compared with Rs 1,016 crore in Q1 FY25. Total expenses rallied 35.5% YoY to Rs 2,040.56 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2025. The cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 59.80 crore (up 63.48% YoY), employee benefits expenses were at Rs 408.28 crore (up 20.68% YoY), and other expenses were at Rs 545.59 crore (up 6.75% YoY) in Q1 FY26. GMR Airports Infrastructure is mainly engaged in the development, maintenance, and operation of airports; generation of power; coal mining and exploration activities; development of highways; and development, maintenance, and operation of special economic zones.

GMR Airports gains as passenger traffic climbs 3% YoY in Q1 FY26
GMR Airports Infrastructure rose 1.52% to Rs 95.27 after the company reported a 3.3% year-on-year (YoY) increase in passenger traffic across all GMR airports, reaching over 30.1 million passengers in Q1 FY26. Domestic passenger traffic grew 2.9% YoY, while international traffic saw a sharper rise of 4.6% YoY during the quarter. Delhi Airport handled around 19 million passengers in the quarter, down 1.2% YoY, while Hyderabad Airport handled around 8 million passengers, up 17.1% YoY. Aircraft movements also increased by 5.6% YoY in Q1 FY26, totaling 190,002 movements. In June 2025, GMR Airports handled 9.7 million passengers, up 0.9% YoY, while aircraft movements rose 2.6% YoY to 61,251. GMR Airports Infrastructure is mainly engaged in the development, maintenance, and operation of airports; generation of power; coal mining and exploration activities; development of highways; and development, maintenance, and operation of special economic zones. The companys consolidated net loss widened to Rs 252.66 crore in Q4 FY25 as against a net loss of Rs 167.58 crore reported in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations jumped 17.02% year on year (YoY) to Rs 2,863.34 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025.

GMR Airports handles over 10 million passengers in May'25
GMR Airports Infrastructure reported a 0.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in passenger traffic across all GMR airports, reaching over 10 million passengers in May 2025. During the month, domestic traffic grew by 0.1% YoY, while international traffic saw an increase of 2.9% YoY. Delhi Airport handled monthly passenger traffic of around 6.24 million passengers (down 4.5% YoY). Hyderabad Airport handled monthly passenger traffic of around 2.79 million passengers (up 15.3% YoY). Aircraft movements also increased by 6.3% YoY in May 2025, totaling 64,931 movements. GMR Airports Infrastructure is mainly engaged in the development, maintenance, and operation of airports; generation of power; coal mining and exploration activities; development of highways; and development, maintenance, and operation of special economic zones. The companys consolidated net loss widened to Rs 252.66 crore in Q4 FY25 as against a net loss of Rs 167.58 crore reported in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations jumped 17.02% year on year (YoY) to Rs 2,863.34 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. The scrip rose 0.44% to Rs 83.08 on the BSE.

GMR Airports tumbles after Q4 net loss widens to Rs 253 cr
GMR Airports Infrastructure declined 2.05% to Rs 87.15 after the company's consolidated net loss widened to Rs 252.66 crore in Q4 FY25 as against a net loss of Rs 167.58 crore reported in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations jumped 17.02% year on year (YoY) to Rs 2,863.34 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. The company reported a pre-tax profit of Rs 195.84 crore during the quarter, compared with a pre-tax loss of Rs 148.39 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. During the fourth quarter, EBITDA stood at Rs 1,122.74 crore in the March quarter 2025, registering a growth of 19.39% YoY. Total expenses rallied 13.73% YoY to Rs 1,854.02 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 20025. Cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 42.80 crore (up 38.37% YoY), employee benefits expenses were at Rs 393.52 crore (up 10.45% YoY), and other expenses were at Rs 586.63 crore (down 5.11% YoY) in Q4 FY25. The company has successfully concluded the purchase of a 10% equity stake in Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) from Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide (Fraport). GAL entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Fraport for the acquisition, and following the receipt of requisite approvals and the fulfillment of conditions precedent, the transfer of shares and exchange of consideration has been completed. As a result of this acquisition, GAL's shareholding in DIAL has increased from 64% to 74%. Meanwhile, The GMR Airports in its release said that GMR Hyderabad International Airport (a Subsidiary of the GMR Airport) has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire 70% stake in its associate company, ESR GMR Logistics Park, with other shareholders of EGLPPL. The consideration for the acquisition is up to Rs 41.33 crores at a fair value, which has been determined by an independent valuer. The acquisition is anticipated to be completed in a month, provided that specific precedents are met and approvals are obtained. GMR Airports Infrastructure reported a 7.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in passenger traffic across all GMR airports, reaching over 10.5 million passengers in March 2025. During the month, domestic traffic grew by 7.9% YoY, while international traffic saw a significant increase of 8% YoY. Delhi Airport handled monthly passenger traffic of around 7 million passengers (up 6% YoY). Hyderabad Airport handled monthly passenger traffic of around 2.5 million passengers (up 17% YoY). Aircraft movements also increased by 8% YoY in March 2025, totaling 65,698 movements. GMR Airports Infrastructure is mainly engaged in the development, maintenance, and operation of airports; generation of power; coal mining and exploration activities; development of highways; and development, maintenance, and operation of special economic zones. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 202.10 crore in Q3 FY25, compared with a net loss of Rs 486.40 crore posted in Q3 FY24. Revenue from operations jumped 19.16% year on year (YoY) to Rs 2,653.24 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2024. The scrip shed 0.05% to Rs 86.46 on the BSE.
