GTA 6: Four ‘gossips' that might actually be true

A lot has come out about GTA 6, following the second trailer. Rockstar has published a slew of game lore on its website, including details about its characters, some of the storyline, the locations in the game, and more. GTA 6 is going to launch on May 26, 2026.(Rockstar) However, there is a lot that is yet to be unveiled, and it is only going to be revealed when the game is released on 26 May 2026. Having said that, fans and online communities have been talking about several possibilities that could come true in Rockstar's GTA 6. Let us tell you about the top rumours and theories about the world and storyline of GTA 6, which could end up coming true, based on various things that people have spotted. 1. Liberty City could be a visitable location In the second trailer for the game, you see a chase sequence wherein a car has a Liberty City number plate. It is, of course, part of a cutscene, so whether the car is visiting from Liberty City or if you are actually in Liberty City is still up in the air. Another key reason why Liberty City could play a central role in GTA 6 is that Lucia, one of the two protagonists alongside Jason, is from Liberty City, according to Rockstar. Perhaps Liberty City will be a small part of the game, similar to how North Yankton was part of GTA 5. MOBILE FINDER: iPhone 16 LATEST Price 2. The return of dynamic body types Remember GTA San Andreas and how you could get fat or buff depending on how many times you visited the gym? Similarly, because Jason in GTA 6 has a chiseled physique and defined muscles, and we have even seen him working out in the second trailer, it could be that gyms will make a comeback in GTA 6. This could make for a very dynamic experience. Imagine if Rockstar allows you to get better performance from your character if they are muscular compared to when they are overweight. It could certainly make things quite interesting. 3. Pets in GTA 6 Another key detail we found in the second GTA 6 trailer is a cutscene that features a pet iguana inside a glass enclosure in a house. So, maybe you will be able to get pets in GTA 6. However, what is certain is that there are going to be many types of animals in the game. We have seen people walking their dogs in the trailer, and Rockstar has also detailed that there will be a wide variety of animals, including alligators in Leonida, flamingos, and a whole lot more. 4. Refuelling your car In GTA 5, you can enter a car and it can keep going, provided you do not damage it. This means, like most open-world games, you have unlimited fuel. This might not be the case in GTA 6, as online communities have spotted NPCs filling their cars at petrol stations in the game trailer. This could definitely be a hint that you may also need to fill up your car to keep it going. We have seen a similar mechanic in the PlayStation-exclusive game Days Gone, wherein you have to consistently fill up your bike to travel. This could be an interesting addition, considering you might have to plan ahead if you want to go somewhere and keep filling up, just like in real life.

5 reasons why GTA San Andreas is still one of the most iconic GTA games in 2025

(Image via Rockstar Games) GTA San Andreas isn't just a game. It's a whole era. Dropping in 2004, it gave 2000s kids their first taste of open-world chaos, jetpacks, cheat codes, and lowrider missions with CJ and the Grove Street fam. The soundtrack, the voice acting, the memes; it's all etched into our collective memory. Every time someone says 'Ah sh*t, here we go again,' we're right back in Los Santos. Here's what makes San Andreas the one game we can't let go of. The Vibe Is Unmatched GTA San Andreas wasn't just big — it was massive. Three cities. Planes. Trains. Mountains. Deserts. Gyms. Casinos. You could hit the strip in Las Venturas one moment, and be biking up Mount Chiliad the next. No hand-holding. No microtransactions. Just pure freedom. The kind of chaos Gen Z dreams about when adulting gets too real. Carl "CJ" Johnson The Best Grand Theft Auto Character Ever!? (GTA) CJ = Iconic CJ isn't just a protagonist, he's him. Laid-back but fierce, sarcastic but loyal. Watching him grow from a broke dude to the king of the streets? Legendary. Plus, you could hit the gym, eat too many burgers, or show up shirtless with a mohawk. Total freedom to be your CJ. No other GTA character gives you that much room to mess around and make memes in real time. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Eat 1 Teaspoon Every Night, See What Happens A Week Later! [Video] getfittoday Undo The Modding Scene Is Still Wild Even two decades later, the modding community is going strong. Fans are out here turning San Andreas into a playground of infinite possibilities. Wanna ride a dragon? Add a Tesla? Make CJ look like Travis Scott? It's all possible. Mods have kept this game relevant on YouTube and Twitch, and they keep the nostalgia train rolling for new and old players alike. The Soundtrack Is Elite Before Spotify wrapped, there was K-DST and Radio Los Santos. The music in San Andreas defined the vibe, whether it was 90s hip hop, rock classics, or chill funk. Driving through the desert while 'How I Could Just Kill a Man' plays? Core memory unlocked. 20 Years Later: Why GTA San Andreas Still Feels Like Home It Still Feels Like Home Weirdly enough, San Andreas just… feels cozy. Maybe it's the goofy physics. Maybe it's the sense of freedom. Maybe it's flying a Hydra jet through downtown SF like it's totally normal. Whatever it is, the game doesn't feel old; it feels timeless. Games come and go. Graphics get better. Stories get deeper. But GTA San Andreas hits different. It's that one game you never uninstall. It's chaotic, heartfelt, hilarious, and raw. Whether you're speedrunning, modding, or just messing around with a jetpack, it never gets boring. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch Episode 1 here

Which GTA character had the best redemption arc of all time?

(Image via Rockstar Games) Grand Theft Auto isn't exactly known for characters doing the right thing. It's chaos, crime, and car chases. But every now and then, a character surprises us. They grow. They reflect. They try (keyword: try) to make things right. So out of all the thugs, hustlers, and psychos in the franchise… who had the best redemption arc? 1. Franklin Clinton Franklin had one of the cleanest glow-ups in GTA history. He started out repo'ing cars for a shady dealership and running with fools like Lamar. But by the end of GTA V, he's buying mansions, rubbing shoulders with FIB agents, and making grown-man decisions. He doesn't get dragged into drama — he chooses to take control. Whether you pick 'Deathwish' or not, Franklin stays cool-headed, loyal, and low-key moral. Not bad for a guy who started out jacking rides in South Los Santos. Why Michael DeSanta Is The Best Protagonist - Character Analysis 2. Michael De Santa Michael's arc is more like trying to redeem himself. The man fakes his death, sells out his old crew, and ends up in witness protection. But under all that entitlement and midlife crisis energy, Michael wants a second chance. He tries to fix his family, quit crime, and even picks up yoga (lol). Sure, he gets pulled back in, but his redemption isn't about being perfect — it's about trying . And he does make peace with his past by the end… mostly. 3. Niko Bellic Niko had the potential for the realest redemption. He came to Liberty City to escape war crimes, start fresh, and maybe find peace. But the American Dream smacks him in the face with betrayal, blood, and heartbreak. Niko wants redemption — he's just never given the space to fully achieve it. That makes his story tragic, powerful, and painfully relatable. The legend of GTA San Andreas - CJ's story 4. Carl 'CJ' Johnson Carl 'CJ' Johnson's whole arc in San Andreas is about stepping up. After returning to Los Santos to bury his mom, CJ gets sucked back into gang life — but he's not the same hot-headed kid he was. He learns the game, handles betrayal (Big Smoke, we're looking at you), and fights to protect his people. CJ stays loyal, focused, and finishes strong. He didn't sell out, he leveled up. That's growth. If we're talking actual growth and staying on the right track? Franklin takes the W. He levels up without selling out and keeps his integrity intact. Michael and Niko's arcs are iconic, but messy AF. Franklin? He plays the game smart, stays loyal, and walks away better than he started. That's rare in GTA. 5 different ways GTA 6 might let us earn side cash

(Image via Rockstar Games) In every GTA game, making money has always been part of the fun. Rockstar is known for adding layers of detail and activity to their open worlds. From odd jobs in GTA San Andreas to stock trading in GTA 5, the possibilities have always been creative, and sometimes hilarious. Here are 5 different ways GTA 6 might let players earn side cash in its expansive world. 1. Deliveries and Courier Work GTA 6 might expand on the classic delivery missions from past games. Imagine working as a bike courier, package delivery driver, or food runner, zipping through crowded Vice City streets. Rockstar could even parody apps like 'PostUp' or 'GrubZilla,' letting players earn cash while navigating time limits, angry customers, or rival delivery gangs. 2. Pawn Shops and Reselling Looting and selling might go beyond simple weapon shops in GTA 6. What if players could run their own pawn operation or flip stolen goods? You steal electronics, luxury watches, or art, and instead of instantly cashing out, you haggle with pawn brokers or sell to shady dealers for better profit. GTA 6 PAWN SHOPS WILL BE BIG! Everything We Know! 3. Odd Jobs and Gigs The gig economy is ripe for parody, and GTA 6 could fully embrace it. Think freelance handyman work, dog walking, cleaning services, or roadside assistance gigs—all through an in-game app. These quick, often bizarre jobs could pop up randomly on your phone and send you into hilarious or dangerous situations. 4. Underground Street Racing Street racing isn't new to GTA, but GTA 6 could make it feel more like an organized underground scene. Players might buy into illegal racing circuits, build reputations, and wager their own money. Maybe some races have entry fees but high payouts, while others are low-stakes and casual. 5. Content Creation and In-Game Streaming Given Rockstar's sharp parody of modern culture, don't be surprised if GTA 6 lets players earn from streaming, vlogging, or posting 'CloutChaser' videos. Complete stunts, escape police, prank NPCs, and monetize it all through in-game social platforms. It's like GTA meets TikTok. Your fame could influence sponsorship deals, unlock gear, or give bonuses. GTA 6 is Rockstar's most expensive game yet. And when it comes to making money on the side, players are expecting more than just robbing stores. From delivery apps to racing rings, the world of Leonida could be packed with creative (and shady) ways to stack cash between missions.

5 GTA San Andreas features that deserve a comeback in GTA 6

(Image via Rockstar) If Rockstar's aiming to build the ultimate GTA experience with GTA 6, they better look back before leaping forward. Because GTA San Andreas may be two decades old, but it was way ahead of its time. From deep character customization to over-the-top freedom, it had features that made you feel like you were living CJ's life, not just playing it. Here are 5 iconic San Andreas mechanics we hope to see return in GTA 6. 1. Gym, Fat Meter & Custom Physique CJ's body literally changed based on how you played. Hit the gym regularly? He bulked up. Ate too many burgers? He got fat. This level of character transformation made San Andreas feel alive . Lucia and Jason in GTA 6 could seriously benefit from this with stamina upgrades, stealth boosts, or even visible injuries that change how NPCs react. Total immersion unlocked. GTA 6 GANGS AND FACTIONS! Everything We Know SO FAR! 2. Territory Wars and Gang Control One of San Andreas' most addictive systems was taking over enemy gang territories. It wasn't just a side activity; it reshaped your map. Watching Grove Street green sweep across Los Santos was pure satisfaction. GTA 6's Leonida map is huge , so why not give players more influence over it? Factions, turf wars, and district control could add endless replay value. 3. Car Customization at a Mad Level San Andreas let you do more than slap a spoiler on your car. You could change rims, nitro boosts, exhausts, and hydraulics, especially in lowriders. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like India: Jewelry On Sale For Half Price (See Price List) Luxury Jewelry | search ads Undo GTA 5 simplified this a bit, but GTA 6 should bring back full customization. Let us go wild with our cars again. Neon lights, bouncing suspension, and full audio setups? Yes, please. 4. Insane Side Missions (Pimping, Burglary, Freight Trains) San Andreas let you be a pimp, valet driver, firefighter, and even a train conductor. And it wasn't pointless—you earned money, respect, or stat boosts. These side gigs made the world feel bigger and gave players real reasons to explore. GTA 6 is primed for this kind of depth. Even Lucia running a small business or Jason moonlighting as a bouncer could add so much flavor. GTA 6 ROMANCE OPTIONS! Everything We Know SO FAR! 5. Dating & Girlfriend Mechanics San Andreas made relationships feel real (and a little chaotic). You could date multiple girlfriends, take them to restaurants or clubs, and even unlock rewards based on how well you treated them. Some would let you keep their car or give you perks like free resurrections. GTA 6; with its dual protagonists and deeper story, could make romantic subplots feel more impactful, dynamic, and maybe even tied to missions or side arcs. GTA 6 is clearly going for realism and cinematic storytelling, but let's not forget what made us fall in love with GTA in the first place. San Andreas gave us control, chaos, and creativity. If Rockstar can blend that classic freedom with modern polish, GTA 6 won't just break records; it'll redefine open-world gaming all over again.
