Two students from Surat among India Top 100 in NEET 2025
1 2 3 4 Surat: In a proud moment for the city, two students have secured All India Ranks (AIR) in the top 100 in the NEET 2025 results declared on Saturday. Jenil Bhayani clinched AIR 6, while Maulik Bhalgamia earned AIR 71. Interestingly, both families had migrated from Saurashtra years ago in search of better opportunities. Appearing for NEET for the first time, Jenil scored 680 out of 720. He had earlier secured 97.80% in Class XII CBSE from P P Savani School and had been preparing for the exam at the school's Center For Excellence. He also scored 111.25 out of 120 in the GUJCET. "I always wanted to pursue medicine. I'll do my UG from AIIMS Delhi and later go for MS," said Jenil. He attributed his success to disciplined, focused study and the inspiration he drew from his grandfather's dream. "It was his wish that I become a doctor," said Jenil, who will be the first doctor in his family. His cousin, Jainam, also cleared NEET with 553 marks and hopes to secure admission to a govt medical college. Jenil's younger sister Jiya is in Class XI and his brother Kunj is in Class VII. "Daily revision and discipline made the difference," said Maulik, who scored 90% in Class XII and is eligible for AIIMS and other top medical colleges. A student of Riverdale Academy, Maulik received coaching from Allen Institute. His father, Dr Khimji Bhalgamia, is an anaesthetist, while his mother, Shital, is a homemaker. GUJCET 2025: Application window opens to access OMR sheets at gujcet.gseb.org
GUJCET 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has opened the application window for candidates to access OMR sheets for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025. Students who appeared for the exams will be able to access the OMR sheets from the official website. The official website to do so is– The application window to obtain the GUJCET OMR sheets will remain open till 5 pm on May 15. Candidates will have to log in using their seat number, mobile number and password to access their result details and apply for the GUJCET response sheet. Students who appeared for the test will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for each subject's OMR copy. In addition, an online application fee of Rs 20 will be applicable. Students can also apply for additional subjects till May 15 by repeating the login and payment details.
