While dropping the first look, he captioned it with, "#GalwanValley". The motion poster featured Salman Khan in the intense look of an army officer. His face is soaked in blood, indicating a ruthless battle on the field. The background score is the biggest highlight as it transcends the feelings of patriotism instantly. Reportedly, Himesh Reshammiya has composed the background score, and he will be composing all of its songs. The motion poster gives a sneak peek at the backdrop of the movie, which says, "Over 15000 feet above sea level, India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet." Fans couldn't keep calm and started reacting. While a section of the audience prayed for Salman Khan's comeback, some remained stunned seeing the first look. For the unversed, Battle of Galwan will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It is based on a true story of the Indian army fighting against Chinese troops in Galwan Valley (Ladakh) in 2020, where India executed 54 Chinese soldiers and won the war. The movie will be shot in real locations, in addition to the sets in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Apoorva Lakhia called it the "greatest battle between two countries", as over 80 individuals lost their lives without any bullets being fired. Salman Khan will start shooting Galwan in Ladakh by late July, adopting a lean look and crew cut. The film, based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash and India's Most Fearless, features intense action. Post this, Salman is set to reunite with Kabir Khan for a new original project. Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming project with director Apoorva Lakhia . For this film, inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, he is transforming his physique to achieve a slimmer appearance, aligning with the intense and realistic tone of the story. Film Based on Best-Selling Novel, Salman as Army Officer A report in Pinkvilla stated that the film is based on the best-selling novel, India's Most Fearless and features Salman Khan as an army officer. Taking a break from his usual diet, Salman is following a tight regime and is hitting the gym to acquire a lean physique. Khan will sport a crew cut in the film, and is presently working on himself, before hitting the sets of the film. The source informed that Kabir and Salman have mutually agreed on a subject, and Kabir is silently working towards developing the same. If everything goes well, Salman and Kabir will reunite towards the end of this year. At the moment, there is a 90 percent possibility for this film to be a follow-up to Galwan. Lavrov reaffirms support for Russia-India-China trilateral format
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has once again expressed his support for the Russia-India-China (RIC) trilateral dialogue format. 'When President Putin became president, the very first three-party summit meeting between Russia, China, and India was held,' he said at the Future Forum 2050 in Moscow on Monday. 'About 20 meetings of foreign ministries took place, followed by dozens at different platforms, including meetings between the ministries of transport and economy and ever since the multipolarity is gaining momentum.' These comments come days after he said that Moscow had a 'genuine interest' in reviving the RIC trilateral dialogue, citing recent de-escalation along the India-China border as a timely opportunity. 'Now that, as I understand it, an understanding is being reached between India and China on how to calm the border situation, I believe the time has come to revive the RIC trio,' he said at a Eurasian security conference on Thursday. China and India have been engaged in a prolonged military standoff along their contested Himalayan border, the Line of Actual Control (LAC), following a fatal confrontation in the Galwan Valley in June 2020. Despite ongoing tensions, the two nations have conducted numerous rounds of negotiations, and although some areas of disagreement persist, officials have recently noted signs of de-escalation, accompanied by sustained military and diplomatic dialogue. On Monday, Lavrov said that Western powers perceive multipolarity as a threat to their longstanding influence and control, rather than an opportunity to foster a more equitable society. 'Instead of an opportunity for more fairness and equality it sees a threat to its historic dominance,' he added. Russia has long advocated multipolarity as the way forward. At the Eurasian security conference last week, Lavrov also voiced concerns over NATO's purported efforts to draw India into its anti-China strategies. 'I have no doubt that our Indian friends – and I say this based on confidential conversations with them – clearly see this provocation,' he said.
