EXCLUSIVE Travis Kelce touches down in Tahoe! NFL icon and his brother Jason show off their golf skills ahead of star-studded tournament
Jason and Travis Kelce headed straight to the driving range on Thursday evening after touching down in Lake Tahoe for a star-studded celebrity golf tournament. The NFL brothers are among the biggest names in the field for the annual three-day event, and they will play together alongside Andrew Whitworth in Friday's first round. But ahead of the action getting underway, spotted the pair on the driving range soon after they arrived at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. While they opted against playing in Thursday's practice rounds, they instead waited for the crowds to disperse and turned up later to enjoy a quiet hour honing their skills. In exclusive video, both brothers can be seen practicing, with Travis faring significantly better than his older brother as they warmed up ahead of the tournament. At one point, Jason slices his iron shot to the right and can be heard muttering 'wow' under his breath. A few moments later, he sent a drive high into the air and commented: 'Well it was a good baseball shot.' Both Jason and Travis had two cans of their Garage Beer with them as they enjoyed the sunshine on the west coast, just over the border from California into Nevada. And Travis was repping their New Heights podcast, showing off a personalized head cover with the logo on. Before they got underway, both Travis and Jason chatted with a group on the driving range and appeared to film some promotional content for their Garage Beer company. Travis competed in the 2024 edition of the tournament on the banks of Lake Tahoe It remains unclear whether Taylor Swift will be on site to watch her man compete over the three-day tournament, but rumors on Thursday claimed they have a secret 'event' they are hosting at some point over the weekend. Anticipation reached fever pitch when Entertainment Today host Kevin Frazier appeared on The Dan Patrick Show and said: 'I think she will come. I think there might be a little event they'll have, we're hearing...' The likes of Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley and Steph Curry are among the big names competing this weekend, with a $750,000 prize pot on offer. Former pro tennis player Mardy Fish won in 2024, with Curry lifting the trophy in 2023 and ex-NFL star Tony Romo finding success back in 2022.

Justin Thomas Drops New Collab with 5-Word Warning on Label
Justin Thomas Drops New Collab with 5-Word Warning on Label originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Summer is in full swing and what better way to beat the heat than to enjoy a crisp, refreshing beer by the pool. Sixteen-time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas is getting in on the summer vibes in a recent post shared to his Instagram account with a cooler of what appears to be both regular and tall cans of ice-cold beer. Advertisement The labels of the two types of cans look nearly identical, but upon closer inspection, the slimmer cans are actually sunscreen spray and the word "beer" is crossed out. The cheeky label design is a nice touch to promote the collaboration between Justin Thomas' sunscreen brand, WearSPF, and Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's co-owned beer company, Garage Beer. Just to make sure there is no confusion, the can of sunspray reads, "NOT BEER DO NOT DRINK." Collaborative post shared to Justin Thomas, Garage Beer and WearSPF's Instagram accounts.@drinkgaragebeer Instagram Fans are joining in on the fun, with one commenter saying, "Love how the sunscreen says 'Not beer do not drink' lol." Another posted, "That's a combo we can all get behind." Advertisement While the two products couldn't be further apart in terms of functionality, the collaboration makes sense from a marketing standpoint. For golfers, sunscreen is an absolute must, and many also like to knock back a cold one at the 19th hole (or sixth hole, depending how your round is going). It's a win-win for both brands. WearSPF carries an array of products to keep athletes safe from harmful UV rays, from performance sunscreen lotion, sticks and sprays to lip balm and UV protective sunsleeves. The brand also makes premium shaving cream for use before applying sunscreen, as well as post-sun cleansers and aloe gel. The products feature SPF 30 and SPF 50 options for ultimate UV protection, on and off the course. Thomas was inspired to create the brand after a 2019 dermatologist visit revealed a small malignant mole on his leg. While the mole was removed before it could become a life-threatening issue, Thomas, 32, realized that success can't be achieved without good health. The two-time major champion launched WearSPF in 2022 to share his story and encourage peak performance from athletes through effective sunscreen protection. The brand also encourages athletes who spend a lot of time in the sun to get regular skin cancer screenings with a dermatologist. Advertisement The WearSPF x Garage Beer sunscreen collaboration is available in a 6.0-ounce single can or "Tailgate" 6-pack. Justin Thomas Champions Sun Safety On And Off The Green
WearSPF, the sun protection brand founded by Justin Thomas, recently launched a summer-inspired ... More collaboration with Garage Beer. An unexpected diagnosis can change anyone's perspective, and for PGA Tour star Justin Thomas, discovering melanoma in his twenties became a profound turning point. In this interview, Thomas shares the deeply personal story behind his commitment to sun safety, unveiling how this experience propelled him to co-found WearSPF, a new line of high-performance sun protection. In the conversation, we dive into his journey from elite athlete to passionate advocate, exploring how he balanced his demanding golf career with the hands-on creation of a brand designed to educate and protect fellow athletes. Dave Knox: Can you share more about your experience with discovering Melanoma? Justin Thomas: As a young athlete, I didn't take sun exposure seriously. And in 2019, my dermatologist discovered a small mole on my leg in the early stages of melanoma. Fortunately, the cancer was caught in time and surgically removed but I was forever changed by the entire experience. I wish I had paid more attention as a young athlete to the importance of sunscreen. As a golfer, I'm in the sun a lot. I applied sunscreen but what I didn't realize was the importance of reapplying throughout the day. Knox: There are many cases of professional athletes endorsing products, but you built WearSPF from the ground up. Can you share the story of its creation and your hands-on involvement in building the brand? Thomas: Knowing how close I was to a life-threatening situation was a real wake-up call for me. Since my experience with melanoma, I was always on the lookout for a better sunscreen. I couldn't find a high quality sunscreen at an affordable price so I decided to make my own. I got connected to a great manufacturing facility called Milbar Laboratories that specializes in OTC and sunscreen. It was most important to me that this line be a very high-quality formula at an appropriate price. WearSPF is my passion project with my goal being to educate youth athletes on the importance of sun safety. I'm a new father and leaving this legacy behind is deeply personal, now more than ever. Knox: Talk to me about how you believe the sun impacts your performance and why this education is important. Thomas: Sunscreen can literally save lives - and that's the message I want to send. Beyond that, competing in the sun isn't the same if you aren't protected. I have felt the impacts of a sunburn -lethargy, achy, etc. It severely hinders your ability to move around and play at your best. On the WearSPF website we have helpful information on how to self-check, when to see a dermatologist and general rules for skin cancer prevention, like aways wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen. Knox: What is your skin/suncare routine? Thomas: I apply the WearSPF Mineral Performance Sunscreen Spray before I go outside. Then, reapply at the 7th and 14th tee with the stick so my hands don't get greasy. Now, I'm more mindful to try to walk on the shady side of the fairway. My favorite product is the WearSPF 50 Sunscreen Sport Stick which is great for athletes. The sport stick is portable, water-resistant, broad spectrum SPF 50 sports stick for face and body - perfect for an active, on-the-go lifestyle. Use on your face, ears, lips, or any other targeted spots. Knox: How is WearSPF marketing specifically to outdoor athletes and not being another 'beach sunscreen'? Thomas: WearSPF is a high quality and high performance suncare product line available at an affordable, accessible price. It's all about prevention and performance. WearSPF is more than the brand name - it's a call to action, especially to young athletes competing in the sun, that they have to be applying and reapplying sunscreen. There are a lot of misconceptions about sunscreen out there. Our formulas are oxybenzone-free, water- and sweat-resistant, and designed lightweight unlike typical sport sunscreens that leave you feeling sticky or break down in the heat of competition. We also believe education is a big part of protection. Studies show sunburn can impair physical performance and contribute to dehydration. Wearing sunscreen isn't just about preventing burns — it's part of a complete performance routine that helps protect skin, regulate hydration, and support body temperature during activity and recovery. Knox: What is the latest and greatest with WearSPF Thomas: We recently partnered with Garage Beer on a limited-edition Garage Beer x WearSPF custom can. It's an easy-to-apply broad spectrum SPF 50 sports spray for face and body—your ultimate sidekick for sunny days. Infused with super-nourishing antioxidant ingredients - green tea + carrot extract, avocado oil, and vitamin E, to keep the skin replenished and hydrated. I'm pumped to be kicking off this collaboration between Garage Beer and WearSPF. This partnership is perfect for long days on the course, watching football or hanging in the backyard. Their brand aligns so well with what we're building over at WearSPF which is enjoying the outdoor lifestyle - light, simple, and fun. WearSPF goes beyond sunscreen! We also launched a premium shaving cream that is designed to deliver a clean, close shave while protecting and nourishing your skin. It cushions every stroke to reduce irritation and redness. Whether you're tackling a five o'clock tee time shadow or prepping for the day ahead, WearSPF Shaving Cream leaves your skin smooth, refreshed, and ready for the sun. Knox: What is the connection between the Justin Thomas Foundation and WearSPF? Thomas: A portion of proceeds from every sale of WearSPF goes directly to the Justin Thomas Foundation. The Justin Thomas Foundation positively impacts children in need, junior golf, and military families with the intent of helping all achieve their full potential. The goals of the Justin Thomas Foundation reflect the altruistic aspirations of the Thomas family. By funding programming and fulfilling requests of those in need, they are committed to showing compassion, displaying kindness, and making a difference in the world.

Travis Kelce's Latest Commerical Appearances Catches Attention on Thursday
Travis Kelce's Latest Commerical Appearances Catches Attention on Thursday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Travis Kelce is everywhere these days. The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end is a staple on commercials, podcasts and red carpets. His relationship with Taylor Swift keeps him in the spotlight, but off the field, he's also become a savvy businessman with an eye for opportunity. Advertisement As he prepares for the 2025 NFL season, Kelce is diving deeper into business and branding. He's adding new investments, expanding existing partnerships, and staying top of mind through bold ventures. One of those ventures made headlines Thursday when Garage Beer released a short video featuring Kelce promoting their brand in classic, tongue-in-cheek style. The clip, titled 'Travis Kelce: Serious Business Guy,' shows him at the fictional 'Garage Beer HQ' typing furiously on a computer while narrating his thoughts on investing. 'People ask me about my investment all the time,' Kelce says in the clip. 'I tell them, just as I'm looking at the market go up and up and down just today.' Advertisement Then he pauses and delivers the punchline: 'One thing stays the Flavored Beer.' He laughed and said, 'That's the whole strategy.' This caught the attention of many online. "I love Beer flavored beer," said here. Another agreed: "We all love beer flavored Beer." This fan loved it: "And I can watch him watch the market go up and down up and down all day today." Added by this commenter: "Travis has such a great laugh!" "As someone who watches the market go up and down every day, I approve this message," mentioned by this fan. Another approval here: "and the Oscar goes to… great job Trav!" Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (87).Stephen Lew-Imagn Images Garage Beer, based in Columbus, Ohio, was originally founded in Covington, Kentucky. The company has been independently owned since 2018 and takes a lighthearted approach to marketing. On their website, they describe their product like this: Advertisement 'Most beer brands use this space to tell you about their rich history, super secret brewing techniques, or how their founder had a vision of ancient yeast strains after getting lost in Europe. Our story? We just really like light beer. So we made one that we think brings you back to the way American light beer used to be made. And a lime one too.' They keep it simple. Their pitch: 95 calories, crisp, refreshing and proudly dubbed Beer Flavored Beer™. In June 2024, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce purchased a significant stake in Garage Beer, becoming its largest investors. This marked Travis's second venture into the alcohol space, following his involvement with Casa Azul Tequila Soda in February 2023. Kelce's expanding business interests reflect his growing presence beyond football. While he turns 36 midway through the 2025 season and has openly considered retirement in the past, he remains committed to the Chiefs, returning after their Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Advertisement Even while juggling football and business, Kelce finds time for community outreach. Last season, he helped donate 25,000 breakfast meals to those in need. His brand portfolio also includes deals with Nike, Dick's Sporting Goods, Papa John's and Old Spice. Whether it's food, fashion or fragrance, Kelce's influence continues to grow. From touchdowns to tequila, from Taylor Swift to Beer Flavored Beer, Travis Kelce is building a legacy that stretches well beyond the football field. "GOOD to be GOAT": Travis and Jason Kelce now own a football team thanks to Garage Beer
Kelce brothers' Garage Beer now owns the St. Joseph Goats (Getty Images) NFL superstars Jason and Travis Kelce have never been ones to stay confined to a single spotlight. From dominating on the gridiron to building one of the most popular sports podcasts in the world—New Heights—the Kelce brothers have continued to prove that their ambitions reach far beyond football. Now, they're charging full speed into another arena, quite literally. Travis and Jason Kelce 's Garage Beer just bought a football team In a bold and somewhat unexpected move, Jason and Travis Kelce—through their Ohio-based beverage company, Garage Beer—have officially acquired a stake in the St. Joseph Goats, a professional indoor football team competing in The Arena League. While the Kelces own just 1% of the team, their influence is already set to be a game-changer. Garage Beer, co-owned by the brothers since June 2024, announced the news in a statement filled with both enthusiasm and their signature humor: 'Garage Beer – the crisp, uncomplicated lager co-owned by Jason and Travis Kelce – is proud to officially announce that we are now owners of the St. Joseph Goats, a professional indoor football team from St. Joseph, Missouri competing in The Arena League.' The statement continued with playful confidence, adding, 'This is more than a sponsorship – it's a bold, possibly confusing leap into the world of professional sports ownership, and we couldn't be more excited. ' St. Joseph, Missouri, is notably significant to the Kelce family, as it's the same city where the Kansas City Chiefs—Travis's team—hold their annual training camp. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like How long does it take to breakeven on solar panels?
