Their previous collaborations are H_era Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhaag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan_, and Khatta Meetha. This horror-comedy is all set to release on April 2, 2026. The actor has wrapped up the shooting of the film and has now announced through a video on Instagram where he and his leading lady Wamiqa Gabbi are shooting a song against the backdrop of a waterfall. He wrote- 'And that's a wrap on ! Neetu Chandra appointed as Icon Face of Election Commission of Bihar

Actress Neetu Chandra, who has worked in films such as Garam Masala, Traffic Signal and No Means No among others, has been named as the Icon Face by the Election Commission of Bihar. As per a statement, the appointment is a celebration of a citizen who has elevated Bihar's identity on global, national, and cultural stages. Her contribution to Bihar spans across cinema, sports, cultural heritage, and social impact, making her the most deserving and powerful choice to inspire millions during the election campaign. Beyond the silver screen, she has brought immense pride to the state by representing India nine times in National Taekwondo Championships to become the first martial artist from Bihar to achieve this feat. As a producer, Neetu Chandra created history once again by winning the National Award for her Maithili film 'Mithila Makhaan'. Through her production house Champaran Talkies, she has relentlessly worked for over 15 years to create employment, launch local talent, support women farmers, and uplift regional art and voices all rooted in Bihar. Neetu made her debut in the Hindi film industry in 2005 with Garam Masala in which she portrayed the role of Sweety, an air-hostess. She also acted in Godavari, a Telugu film, in 2006. In 2007 she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's film, Traffic Signal, which told the story of the lives and travails of people living around a fictitious traffic signal in Mumbai. In 2008, she was seen in four films directed by names such as Dibakar Banerjee, Rahul Dholakia, Ashwini Dheer and Vikram. In 2010 she was seen in four Hindi films, Rann, Apartment, No Problem and Sadiyaan, and one Tamil film, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai. It was in 2011 Deswa, a Bhojpuri film which she produced and which was directed by her brother. In 2013 she had completed filming for a Greek film Home Sweet Home, in which she plays an Indian girl. She had to learn Greek for the film and also dubbed herself. Later it was revealed that Home Sweet Home was the working title of the film and the film's actual name was Block 12 where she played an Indian goddess. In 2021, she made her Hollywood film debut through a woman-centric martial arts film Never Back Down: Revolt which is the standalone sequel to Never Back Down: No Surrender and the fourth installment overall in the Never Back Down franchise.

Reportedly, John and all stakeholders involved are extremely excited about the project, calling it a one-of-a-kind venture unlike anything seen in the Indian film industry before. It is said to be an ambitious, big-budget production designed for a grand theatrical release. The project is currently under wraps, with filming expected to begin early next year. John Abraham, known for his intense and physically demanding roles, is presently shooting for Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated biopic on former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria. Rawal revealed that Singson had recently auditioned for her upcoming reality show. Expressing her grief, the Garam Masala actress said she was devastated and in shock upon learning of his passing. Nikita stated, 'The news of the plane crash has devastated me. So many innocent lives lost for no reason. I am in pain. When I read the details of the crash and the departed souls, I saw Lamnunthem's name and photo, and I immediately remembered how she had come to audition for my reality show when I was casting.' 'There was so much of a spark and positivity in her eyes, and most importantly, there was a zeal to succeed and do something incredible in life. This just goes to show how unpredictable life is. Just about 15 days back, she was all charged up and pumped up wanting to be a part of a reality show, and today, she is no more. I am shocked and devastated. May this kind of thing never ever happen again in life. My prayers for all the souls who lost their lives in that flight, and may their families get the strength to bear with this horrendous loss.' Among the 241 people on board Air India Flight AI 171, which met with a tragic crash shortly after takeoff, was 26-year-old Lamnunthem Singson. The young crew member lost her life in the devastating incident that shocked the nation. Her mortal remains were transported from Ahmedabad to Dimapur via an IndiGo flight, where grieving family members, local community leaders, and officials gathered at the airport to receive her with solemn respect. Also among the cabin crew victims was 21-year-old Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma, hailing from Manipur's Thoubal district and a member of the Meitei community. She too lost her life in the fatal crash.

Neetu had said, 'Such obscene songs create discomfort for women and girls in Bihar. This is harmful for the society and the country.' Neetu Chandra's Hollywood film Neetu also went to Hollywood after leaving Bollywood. In 2021, she made a special identity worldwide by playing the role of a martial arts fighter named Jaya in the Hollywood film 'Never Back Down: Revolt'.
