I'm an aesthetician - this £5.49 SPF makes it look like you're wearing makeup
Finding the perfect sun cream to wear alone or under makeup can feel like an impossible task, but according to this aesthetician's viral video, your can stop your search here with this £5.49 product. One aesthetician has recommended snapping up this £5.49 sun cream on Prime Day as it is packed with good ingredients and 'looks like you're wearing makeup'. Skin expert and influencer Alicia Lartey told her 31,000 Instagram followers that the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Sheer Glow SPF50+ should be on their wish list on Prime Day. She said: 'This sunscreen doesn't sting my eyes but it has a gorgeous glowy finish that is not greasy at all it looks like you're wearing makeup but its really just your skincare - so its protect and glow.' This product is focused on amping up the brightness levels of your skin. Alicia said: 'Sometimes we just have to run it back and today we're revisiting the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF50+ Glow because we just need to refocus on the glow.' However, some will know that when you try and add a dewy finish to your look - it can quickly look more greasy and slick than we would like. However Alicia says this is not the case for this sun cream. She added: 'This is one of those sunscreens that gives you a glow without the greasy finish.' She continued: 'Pairing vitamin c and sunscreen helps to further protect your skin and give you brightness overall. This is a hybrid sunscreen formula with a slight tint and also works well under makeup.' She noted that the sunscreen filters include Octisalate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Avobenzone, Tinosorb S, Mexoryl XL and Titanium Dioxide. For those who find themselves with a congested t-zone - this product may also be for you. Alicia added: 'I particularly love this sunscreen for oily skin, you can absolutely see the glow.' Another difficulty with sun cream can be that it stings our eyes, and makes our makeup run down our face when we're trying to look our best in the warm summer days - this product also fights against that with Alicia stating 'there is no eye sting.' She finished with concluding that 'overall this is a good choice if you want a sunscreen formula that does more than just protect your skin.' Also, if you find yourself struggling with uneven skin tone - this suncream could help you out. Alicia added a top tip which is that 'as this is a tinted sunscreen this formula contains iron oxides which are beneficial for those managing uneven skin tone.' One fan of the product commented: 'LOVE this glow one! I've ran out must get more.' Another said: 'Oooo I just recently started using invisible one. Love it. The glow one looks great on you.' Boots is back with its weekly £10 Tuesday deals, and this is one summer essential you shouldn't miss. For today only (Tuesday 8 July), Boots is selling this Garnier Vitamin C SPF Duo for £10 instead of its usual £23.38, or £25.98 if you were to buy the two products together – a saving of over £16. This set gets you the Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF50+ Glow, a gorgeous glow-boosting facial SPF for wearing under make-up or on its own, plus the new Garnier Vitamin C UV Mist, which is perfect for topping up your sun protection throughout the day without disturbing your make-up. Although both products are reduced on Amazon too, if you were to buy them both from Amazon right now it would cost you £13.48, so Boots is definitely the best place to buy them today. If you do happen to miss this Boots £10 Tuesday sale though (and popular products do sell out fast), Amazon is the next best place to buy them, currently reduced to £5.49 for the fluid and £7.89 for the mist. Boots customers are loving this SPF duo, especially the glow-boosting lotion, praising how mice it makes the skin look: "Fantastic sun protection with even light glowing coverage that has replaced my daily foundation," one review underneath the bundle reads. "These two Garnier products are great. Promote clear bright skin and also offers high protection," another five-star review reads. "Highly recommended. Good value for money." "Using these products for 2 years now, very good for black skin," a third person agreed. Despite having thousands of five-star reviews on Amazon too, one shopper, however, found that it didn't sit well under their make-up: "Nice light fluid, decent protection but it pills terribly under make-up," their review reads. "I bought it because I wanted a light sunscreen to wear daily and that includes in work days etc when I'm wearing make-up and it's no use unless I'm keeping a totally bare face." One SPF that we can't praise enough that looks incredible both under make-up and on its own is Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen, £38. This Garnier glowy bundle also might not be for you if you have very greasy skin or prefer a matte finish. If that sounds like you, you might like Garnier's BHA + Niacinamide Daily SPF 50+ instead, which is currently on sale for £9.74, or Murad's new Superactive Moisturiser SPF 40: Mattifying Oil + Pore Control, £45.

Not only for this time of year, but it is an essential in any beauty routine all year round. However, with the weather getting warmer, it's understandable why many are beginning to think about keeping their skin protected from harmful UV rays that can be the cause of premature ageing. One top-rated bottle among many shoppers is this L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical SPF 50+ Invisible UV Fluid, with reviews saying it is "the best" on the high street - and we know where it is on offer for under £10. Resistant against water, pollution and sweat, this broad-spectrum UV fluid's main ingredient is vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that prevents premature aging and reduces the appearance of dark spots, leading to a brighter, youthful looking complexion. It also boasts nourishing vitamin E to boost the efficiency of the powerful antioxidant, while glycerine and hyaluronic acid helps to replenish moisture, leaving skin hydrated and plumped. Best of all? It uses patented netlock technology to create an "ultra light" and "non greasy" formula that is completely invisible on all skin tones when applied, meaning it can also work well underneath makeup. Elsewhere, Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 (50ml) that costs £13.20 on Lookfantastic is ideal for anyone looking to protect and hydrate, as it boasts ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and pro-vitamin B5. A second shopper praised: "I really struggle with facial SPF as I'm prone to breakouts so I am careful, I do use Revitalift day & night cream but I wasn't sure about this. "It is thin but in a very good way, it isn't sticky and [leaves] no white marks, just spreads with ease and melts into my skin. No breakouts and I feel protected all day. My face is very soft to the touch. Super happy with this I finally feel summer skin ready." Another extremely pleased customer wrote: "Best sunscreen rivalling Korean ones. Lightweight, no residue left behind, no white cast and a great base for makeup." A few shoppers have mentioned that using the SPF has resulted in them breaking out, with one such review reading: "It had a nice smell. It seemed quite light, but it made my skin break out, which is very unusual for me." However, another delighted shopper said: "I've never used L'Oréal products before but liked the fact it offered Factor 50 protection. I love it, it moisturises well yet it is so light you forget you are wearing it. Silky smooth, glides on and absorbs in a few sweeps, no shiny patches or feeling of heaviness."
