Burton assistant Lyons signs new deal

Burton sign McKiernan on season-long loan
Burton Albion have signed midfielder JJ McKiernan on a season-long loan from fellow League One club Lincoln City. The 23-year-old returns to the Pirelli Stadium for a second loan stint after joining for the second half of last season, starting 19 matches to help the Brewers avoid relegation. Advertisement McKiernan started his career with Watford but made his senior debut on loan at Eastleigh before joining Morecambe for the 2023-24 season, scoring seven goals in 33 appearances. The Northern Irishman played 17 times after his move to Lincoln last season, scoring once. "I'm really happy to be back and looking to push on from where we left off," he told the club website.
