British Airways launches direct flights from London to Rabat starting November 2025
British Airways is fueling a major tourism boost for Morocco this winter by launching a new direct route between London and Rabat, set to begin on November 5, 2025.
Operated by its Gatwick-based subsidiary, Euroflyer, the route will offer twice-weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Sundays, connecting UK travelers directly with the Moroccan capital. This marks a significant step in the airline's short-haul expansion strategy for 2025, alongside new services to Graz, Austria, and a high-frequency link to Madrid, Spain.
The move highlights British Airways' commitment to strengthening point-to-point travel and tapping into under-served destinations across Europe and North Africa. By leveraging the operational flexibility of Euroflyer and BA Cityflyer, the airline aims to promote regional development, cultural exchange, and greater travel convenience.
According to British Airways, the Rabat route will use Airbus A320 aircraft and include both economy and Club Europe business class cabins, reflecting the company's efforts to attract both leisure and business travelers. The new flight will also bypass stopovers previously required to reach Rabat from London, making it a more seamless option for tourists and members of the Moroccan diaspora.
